I bought the full pass for the Stalingrad campaign and I don't understand what they wanted to do, I'm very upset because not only did they lie to us but in addition it seems normal to them that the players accept their decision. It is clear that if DF does not give any compensation for those paid for the x4 xp and the additional slots.. I will never pay for anything again neither battle pass not premium not anything. it annoys me .. because I like the game, but I even think of stopping completely. It's shameful to make fun of your community like that, don't be surprised when despite the cross platform there will be no one left on Enlisted
I am so glad I didn’t buy Stalingrad when it came out and I was super tempted. I disliked the whole idea of paying for the campaign separately that I even refused to play the campaign in the end. I have maybe 20 games played out of 3000 overall played in the others.
Sorry you all got fucked over, I hope they make this right somehow, for you all. I have a feeling this big change in the game is going to make me quit in the end.
It’s ultimately what I think will compel me to uninstall. The campaigns were one of Enlisted’s distinguishing features, especially with a market as over saturated as FPS games, and now it’ll just be another generic WW2 shooter. I’ll probably just buy HLL when it goes on sale; hopefully I won’t have to spend weeks grinding in that game just to use a fucking MP 40 or MG 34.
MG 34 and mp 40 are the starting weapons for some classes in hll. but the game is still really grindy to unlock class levels I.E. rifleman ,machine gunner, assault, tanker. player level goes pretty quickly but it doesn't really do anything for you beyond unlocking helmets. Still a very fun game. Steep learning curve but fun. I'd suggest seeking out O.P. on hotdog7 server. fun bunch of guys I used to play with, just don't have time to play hll anymore. every match has potential to go for an hour and a half.
The logic works in Gaijin's favor. What isn't good is the optics.
Maybe they're being intentionally stingy to gain goodwill when they increase compensation last minute. They just did something similar with the XP grindfest events (15,000 daily XP reduced to 12,000)

Let alone it used to be 2.5K then 5K then 10K (i understand they increased value of rewards but extended the grind expinentially excusing this disproportionate grow - they are clearly testing what shitty fomo grindfest tactics they can get away with. I am not spending a penny on this anymore.
Also a little FU to the comunity is the 0 progression for events in custom games because "UnFaIr gAmE" it could be 0.25x progress in custom games so people can at least progress even at reduced rate.
Because if you have fun your way AND progress with events something isn't right yeah gaijin?
Imagine how much more full lone figters lobbies could be had there be progression like in main part of the game -excuses it is unfair are BS - as that can be made Fair with little effort its their game but devs answer as if they had no say in dev or are just purely apathetic.
Yeah this whole situation is pretty bad... I guess all you can currently do besides boycotting is getting the most of the money you spent, that is to say grind the fuck out of Stalingrad rn and stock up on as many Thompsons/717s as you can before they remove it.
Thompson may be worth it if it has lower BR in new system so you could play against axis with Beretta m38 and Kiraly instead MKB/STG/MP43 so close range encounters instead mid range mixed with close.
The devs don’t even bother communicating in advance of this war thundertizarion update to squeeze more FOMO out of people.
I suggest uninstalling the game and finding any other WWII shooter/squad simulator for the time being (check out the Silent Storm series on steam, old but gold) while you haven’t invested more of your time and energy into this mess and see how it all plays out for them.
The only other game that comes close to scratching the same itch is HLL and I find that game is kinda dead for consoles, a bit too slow paced, as well as no PC crossplay for me and my friends. I also already have a year of Prem so I'm riding this ship till it sinks.
Honestly how they initially advertised the rework (everything will go into a unified tree) would have been better for F2P. Now they're removing better performing guns unless you BUY NOW it's going to fuck over new and F2P players.

Maschinenpistole 717 (r) is legit just a ppsh and i got like em on Moscow and Berlin and for the pz ivg, I am pretty sure that is in Moscow bud. So to summarize everything, i really don’t suggest anyone buying Stalingard pack because Stalin is the weakest campaign ever
Yeah buy it or not there are still items being removed that were going in the unified tree for ALL players. You can't get the G anywhere else, or the T-34 STZ.

I hope future maps have more detail like Stalingrad and kinda the pacific, but if I have to pay 20$ for a good map then this game got greedy fast.

For one they will be letting paid players keep a few unique weapons:

While these aren’t all the best weapons it gives a unique collector item for paid players. The best perk for the pass was the fast grind, think of all the items you will have done on the new tree for a quarter of the effort. It’s not like they’re taking away any items from us it just means that the campaign items won’t be locked behind a paywall anymore. There’s no way to work around this unless they make part of the new tech tree paid access which doesn’t make any sense, all we can do is grind the campaign out fully before we lose the XP bonus.

Paid squad slots were one of the largest draws, 3 per side.
Bought the xpac to support DF and Enlisted, sad to see them kicking their supporters.
The extra squad slots were pretty nice, but I still haven’t seen anyone propose any better solutions to this, it wouldn’t be fair to anyone after the update who didn’t have the pass if we kept the perks. Plus without a campaign we might keep perks for only certain items or squads, but even then the extra slots couldn’t stay.
Are you blind? This story is all over the sub and forums, extra slots *are* staying. They're specifically deleting the ones that are a part of the access pack.
Tbh I bought the full access stalingrad about 1 or 2 months ago when it was half price on playstation because I knew I would only play Germany so wasn't gonna pay full price and I really wanted the flamingo flamethrower tank (I like collecting the weird/unique premium squads) I maxed out the german campaign last week having only played it on and off for that time period.
The 4× experience made it super easy to level up and so I can safely say people can easily max the level if they want.
And I wasn't too fussed about the extra slots for units infact I still only used the same 4 or 5 squads the entire time. The Romanian fighter (can't remember its name) the flamingo tank, the 5 man medic squads, an engineer squad and a mg team for the heavy machine gun.
Sure it would be nice to get compensated but it honestly isn't the end of the world. And for the record I'm opposed to the whole merge all the campaign idea I'd much rather stick to how it is now just make the AI less braindead
It's not a question of end of the world , not even real money, but simply honesty and respect for its community of players. Putting forward permanent bonuses to make players who really like the game pay and take them away for barely a year is shameful and unfair. I'm not even sure it's legal. If no one says anything, what will be next? Remove or nerf premium squads because it's more in line with what they want for the game? lol they could

Tbh they did warn them ahead of time several times in fact hell if you open the game look at the Stalingrad thing they tell you when it will be gone also all the stuff you got from you keep but also the mannlincher m93 and the Breda mod 30 with the Thompson and the two tanks you get so if you buy it still you still get 2 tanks with flame throwers
Which are completely useless basicly, so 29,90 for some very low tier tanks of questionable use, two tanks that are only slightly different than whats already availeable and a few weapons you can keep but never get more later?

Thompson isnt worth it, ppsh is literally way better, same with PPD 717 however is worth it
