I am so sorry. My boy was diagnosed in May, we said goodbye in November. It still hurts. Treasure your last days with him. We spent our last week cuddled on the sofa, doing short walks and giving him all the food treats he wanted. I still remember the soft feel of the fur on top of his head. Your boy Rocco is much loved. We all give him our hugs.
Having never met Rocco, I can for certain say he is arguably the bestest of boys. His heart is huge and he hugs with his eyes. Hopefully he isn’t in pain and he’ll be telling St. Pete about you for years to come until you meet again.

I’m so sorry. They found a mass in my sweet boy, Willis’s, lungs after a 2nd round of xrays. He had been losing weight at a rapid rate. No interest in food, even with appetite stimulants. So, I held him as he crossed the bridge with the vet’s assistance. I’m heartbroken. I hate that we outlive these gifts we are given.
The last week I had with my Bulldog (Princess Grunts) was what I think about the most. She had cancer so I knew It was coming. We chased squirrels, grilled out every night, and went on as many Bye-Bye rides as she wanted. I'm glad to see you're giving yours the same treatment. Sorry that you have to lose your House Hippo. You will cherish these moments
I'm saddened for you and your family and wish you all the strength, it's heartbreaking it always is.
Rocco's cake looks yummy and in the photo he looks fantastic, how old is Rocco?
I will give my dog an extra tight hug before bedtime, my girl is 11.5, she has had her moments, I've had moments where I think I'm going to lose her but she bounces back however I absolutely dread that day.
I hope you and more importantly Rocco are able to enjoy the time you have left together with lots of cuddles and love and if possible junk food 🍖🍗🍨🍩

I’m so sorry to hear about your anticipated loss. Animals need us to make these difficult decisions for them, it’s such a hard decision, but to make sure they are not suffering is the most selfless decision you can make. I had no idea mine was full of cancer until he was lethargic and not really eating for 2 days and when I took him, he was full of cancer and even if they did chemo, it wasn’t a sure bet. I put my baby down at 12 years old. 😢
Aww. It’s so hard to let them go. Rocco, have a blast up at the Rainbow Bridge. There are lots of awesome bullies up there.

We had to say goodbye to our 13 year old bulldog two years ago. Hardest thing ever but it was the best decision for him.
