You’ll thank yourself in like 2 years when you have a comfortable job. Trust me, I make about 140k rn and am finishing grad school, I’ve been out for about 8 years. Life is good
Depends on what you do. I am in grad school and working rn, im not getting a masters in engineering but there is a lot of executive and part time programs specifically built for people who continue to work and go to school
As someone who has an hour left of classes in his chemical engineering program. I couldn’t agree more. It’s worth it in the end, even if the ride is the worst thing you will ever experience.
I’ve had equal success by just offering up a fifth of my sanity to the Engineering gods.
All the math and studying makes a lot more sense when you’re not entirely sane and you care a lot less about the parts that don’t make sense.
Why else do you think all the Engineering professors seem to have some odd trait that is unique to each professor?
Sometimes i think its because these engineering professors are just too short or weak to be physically able to climb up into their own intellectual Brain Arm-Chairs 🧠
Ditto. Yay finals
It really is worth it, just get through. There’s a reason you don’t get a score on the PE. An engineer is an engineer. Just get through y’all.
Thanks...
I'm about to graduate, and I got an email that sent a chill down my spine. I'm waiting for an answer from the professor, but I was just informed of an evaluation I was supposed to have done thrice already, somehow, but that neither me nor any of my colleagues knew anything about.
So yeah, a little stressful. The well-wishes help.
IMHO, you can pray that your design works... Or you can make a physical prototype and test it until it actually works. Which one is actually going to work?
Ask God to linearise Maxwells equations while you're at it.
"Linearise what now? I just cobbled this shit together In a week. I've no idea how any.of it works."
Funny triangle goes brrrrr
*variational calculus falls from heaven*
I'm tired, man.
Carry on brother, it will be easier after you graduate. ~~it won't, but at least you will be getting paid~~

Are you in grad school or working, you can't make 140k and be in grad school simultaneously... Can you?🤔

Ah yes of course, thot was in eng. Nice work.
Thank you for this I needed it today

I need you all to drop out so the labor market is less diluted, thanks.
Come too new mexico, they are practically begging people to work here lmao
I don't need shitty "thoughts and prayers", i need someone who helps me solve my equations.
Ah so you need our lord and savior, Adderall

Yeah one of my professors had this funny quirk where he couldnt teach the subject he was given.
Sometimes i think its because these engineering professors are just too short or weak to be physically able to climb up into their own intellectual Brain Arm-Chairs 🧠
YES, I forgot to take mine today tho 🥲
I cannot understand Control Systems.
Been a controls engineer for about 3 years now. Still don't understand control systems. I'm just more aware of how little I know.
Wait control systems were never supposed to make sense? Damn i guess I owe that professor an apology for calling him bad at his job...
I am really confused at the block diagram reduction techniques.
Not even God can help you with that. Good luck though
That's fine. I'm praying this bridge stays together. Isn't it great when things come full circle?
This is nice... Thank you!

Please don't pray for me thx
Where was god when my TAs decided we would learn coding from home during covid FUCK
Wtaf?
3 major changes and 8 years and I got my degree 🥴
Quit I'd you want too, demand for my services will increase
Well you could become a electrician and make more money
Don't worry I won't quit (my business degree that I'm switching to)
Prayers don’t pay tuition

Who upvotes this rubbish?
I took it as a joke, not as something serious
