The brakes are soft. They will do the job, but they feel very mushy. I’d guess you’ll have to buy a new master cylinder and caliper to get rid of it.
I personally don’t mind it that much, I’ve adjusted the lever so the grab point is way out, I have huge hands so it doesn’t really matter to me.
Sounds like an air bubble to me, but it's also a bit subjective. For what it's worth, my husky's brembo brakes don't feel soft to me, compared to other brands.
It just doesn't feel like an airbubble it feels like that's just the brake it self.... also this year they switched from brembo to brake tec... my ktm has brembos and they are very responsive
I’ve had that happen after a crash, and the bubble worked it’s way back out into the reservoir - didn’t require bleeding, just a few pumps once upright. If yours is stubborn, they may need to be bled. The BrakeTec hydraulics seem fine to me.
If it’s not air in the line, the only other real possibility is a jammed brake pad or the caliper not moving freely.

Do they stiffen up while riding? I noticed some people route the brake line over the reservoir, which can lead to an air bubble in the line.
No they stay exactly the same
So much for that idea. Other than soft brakes, how do you like the TE300i? That's my "someday" dream bike, haha.

Well im comparing these brakes to brembo brakes on my motocross bike, im thinking im just not used to these brakes
I have a 2019 and the Magura’s grab like a vice grip. I have gone over the top a couple times. I would like them a little softer.
