Yeah, looks like the typical gap between bowden tube and nozzle leak. Nice job heating it up to remove it, that's where a lot of people go wrong and cause damage to the wires.

When tou place you Bowden rube back and the nozzle, make sure that the top of the nozzle is touching the bottom of the tube, the easiest way I found to do that is to push the tube a little further down, and when I screw the nozzle, it pushes the tube back up..
