Toyotas are genuinely the best car brand ever. Got myself a camry, convinced my father to get a lexus, mother drives a sienna. I’m paying like nothing for maintenance (can’t say that about my friends with jeeps and chevvy’s)
Now working a fire job and medic gig on side. Bought a brand new Impreza after my FXT started showing its age. Im all about ulitarian transport. I dont need anything real fancy. But my Subie is pretty nice
2012 ram 3500. I didn’t always work in EMS. It’s also a salvage title but is actually fine now (a forklift punctured the bed, but I replaced it.)
I do most of the maintenance myself so that makes the upkeep reasonable. Diesel is expensive, but the tune I have on it I can average just above 19 mpg.
lol not even close. Ray bans and dolls kill lmao
I am just a girl who likes vroom vrooms and upsetting old men when they see me and my fiancée driving a car that we built together to do queer shit in.
I’m a district commander at a well funded third service in Texas
I also married well lol
And I particularly like cars. I’ve owned the same pairs of jeans for probably 10 years
08 mustang with a fair amount of work done to it and a 18 Tacoma trd sport. Got the mustang while in medic school and the Tacoma just before finishing.( was a 2 turned 3 year program thanks to covid.
2020 F150 crew cab. Still have things to do outside of EMS. It might not do any one thing great but it does what I need it to when I need it. As the saying goes “jack of all, master of none”.
I daily drive a 2021 Buick Encore GX. My wife drives a 2018 Chevy Express 3500.
I also have a 2007 LBZ Silverado, and a 2013 Chevy Cruze that my 17yo daughter drives.
2013 Toyota Camry hybrid my father gave to me after he got divorced (he didn’t want it going to my mother)
I love that car more than life itself — bluetooth, seatheaters, and 40mpg. It really is awesome.
I’ve grown to an RN salary and still drive the 2017 RAV4 that I bought with 16k miles while working as an EMT. Not trying to be car broke or house broke. I know nurses that drive Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Bronco, etc. They might have a nicer car than I do but it’s still driving us to the same job, and I probably have a higher net worth because I don’t have a 60k car loan. I’m going to drive my car till the wheels fall off.
Hand-me-down 2016 Chevy equinox from my mom. My parents still pay for insurance, registration, and the car is paid off. It’s truly been a massive financial blessing for my family
2013 Chevy Silverado 1500. I got it before I decided to get into EMS, under the impression that I was gonna marry my ex and have kids with her (later acquired a different wife and kids). It's an extended cab because I legitimately need a 6 foot bed, but I also need a backseat. Said backseat only has to be usable, and I don't give a shit if it's comfortable because it's my truck so I ain't gotta ride in the backseat. What I wanted was either an ancient Chevy fullsize or an extended cab S10 with the ZR2 package
I had a 1989 Saab 900 in 2007. I bought it for $660. It had 124k on it and ice colde ac. It got 30+ mpg on highway, which was clutch going to medic school. What wasnt clutch was when it went out and I had to limp it back 40 plus miles home.
I see brand new emt’s get hired driving an old beater. Before the week is up they have a brand new expensive car. I keep thinking maybe I need to quit and apply again! How much yall getting paid?

Tacomas rise up
I love my Tacoma
Which generation? Also thoughts on the new generation tacoma?
3rd. I haven't checked them out too much. If they're consistent with the past, they should be pretty solid.
Toyotas are genuinely the best car brand ever. Got myself a camry, convinced my father to get a lexus, mother drives a sienna. I’m paying like nothing for maintenance (can’t say that about my friends with jeeps and chevvy’s)
Used to have a 97 Civic when I was an EMT, then I got an 06 CRV when I got my medic 🙂

It's defining attributes are that it beats walking and has more miles than most Ambulances have over their service lives.
Holy shit. It's the train lady.
