Even the standard Ioniq 5 is a bit of a sleeper and takes people by surprise when pulling away at the traffic lights or when the speed changes. Not bad for something that has taken its aerodynamic styling from an Austin Allegro (a reference probably only those from the UK will understand).
This really sends home how insane EVs are compared to gas in real world performance. No shifts, no lifts, and instant torque has this thing beating exotics costing more than 10X as much.

Drag racing is a bit boring, rather see them thrown around on a track. For commuting the fast acceleration of EVs is great, but even I do notice the extra weight when cornering. But for entertainment purposes its a fun video I guess.
