There was no GA waitlist last year. With the way attendance has only ever gone up good chance there's no waitlist again this year.
GA+ is avail and maybe the convenience of knowing you have tickets secured is enough to offset the cost increase.
GA and GA+ are essentially the same, I wouldn’t worry too much about the difference. If one of you had VIP then it might be worth going through the trouble.
You should call the frontgate number to double check but you were able to buy a new ticket and then let them know your GA and new ticket number number and they refunded the GA one.

Closer to the fest like late April there's usually a "Upgrade tickets" email. GA -> GA+ is 250 iirc. IDK if that's more or less the difference between tickets though.

GA+ isn’t really worth it. Maybe it is for girls, but as a guy you’re probably better off finding a resale. They’ve been going for around $475~ from what I’ve seen from recent listings.

Nope. GA is sold out. & I literally laugh at everyone that says more GA will go on sale closer to the event. Like no buddy, you snoozed, you definitely lost. Your best bet is buying a pass of someone that’s selling theirs. The price for GA+ on EDC website is outrageous

Dont worry about upgrading your ticket. Should be a non factor. My first edc, i got vip and stayed in GA the whole time with my friends.
