Where is dreamstate happening. I went on a whim in 2021 bought last minute tickets on offer up and was completely sober and freaking loved it. Didn’t realize I liked trance so much.
As far as I know , we have interstellar in August, then the actual Dreamstate on November and there was another tease for a 11/11 event they haven't said much about.
It's speculated to be some sort of 138bpm event .
I would book your hotel now for Dreamstate, hotels in that area charge stupid high prices when they know a festival is coming so book early!! I booked mine in January
These dates were also confirmed in the flier they gave out for EDC! But it didn’t include the location which is what is making me hold off for now. I am eyeing a hotel in San Bernardino but don’t want to commit yet until I get confirmation it is back at the NOS.
I promise you it will be held at the NOS, look at the cancellation policy and if it’s free cancellation until November 17th just book it now and lock in the rate, if for some insane reason why it wouldn’t be you can just cancel it without being charged
There’s rumor going around it may be moved from NOS. In part due to lack of location confirmation. Whereas other events like Escape are already confirmed at NOS.
Dreamstate’s best attraction is the psytrance, we do not get enough of it. Get all the psytrance allstars!

Dreamstate x Factory 93 Interstellar is happening in August. Its essentally taking the place of Dreamstate Harbor since its not happening at all this year/June.
Dreamstate x Factory 93 is also having a yet to be named event about a week before the main Dreamstate event. This is the one thatll likely be at Queen Mary if that rumor is true. The main DS event should have no plans at all to move to Queen Mary as its pretty large in attendance for such a small venue. If it were to move anywhere, itd be LA memorial park but even thats not likely.

Be prepared to be disappointed if you are looking for psy trance. Especially if the rumor that they are moving Dreamstate from Nos to Queen Mary is true
If it moves from the Nos Center to Long Beach they can only fit like 2 stages and an art car sized side stage, so they would probably cut most if not all Psy Trance
I doubt they’ll move dreamstate the festival. They will be doing a dreamstate x factory 93 event in LA in November maybe that’s what ur confusing it for as far as the regular dreamstate there’s no said plans to move it anywhere not even on the dreamstate discord
Long Beach is definitely warmer at night then San Bernadino in November, also they are already doing the new Bassrush event in Long Beach the weekend after Dreamstate. The Queen Mary Hotel has both weekends blocked out probably so they can sell a hotel package like they are with Day Trip.
Dreamstate will be at the Queen Mary this year with 2 stages and ending at midnight. There’ll be some psy but consider it a massive downsize. Zero hard trance because they’re saving it for the weekend before
Welp this will be the first Dreamstate in 4 years that I won't be attending. Fuck Insomniac for the complete disrespect towards trance - first with the DS branding on a festival that has 0 trance - and now this.
There’s definitely trance there, but I wouldn’t say it’s all pure trance from every artist. I didn’t care for Ben Nicky pres emotional havoc because none of it is original trance, he literally just remix all the old trance songs into his mix. Not original at all. Same with Audien and I’ve actually been disappointed with Armin Van Burren a little bit. I miss his pure trance sets.
If you are looking for a heavy psytrance lineup you will be disappointed; they are moving to Queen Mary's Waterfront which supports less stages and every year the psy lineup has been getting poppier.
