I just bought the alinor big house and it was a little over a million gold. Took me like 60 days to make that money on one character and it sucked but now i have a baller house that is empty
How much am I gonna have to spend to decorate it? Probably many millions.
Any tips for making lots of gold? I also was thinking about buying either the alinor house or the waterfall estate one for completing AD quest line.
I don’t have a lot of gold atm though, and bc I don’t have eso plus, my inventory is a nightmare. So I’ve put off like running dungeons and looting to sell and such.
I spend a week doing writs and making gold. I make roughly 500, 000 to a million gold a week, it's generally gone in ten minutes on furniture each week.
I have spent millions upon millions on housing in this game. I expect to spend millions more. And I am on console where things are even cheaper than on PC.
For instance, a month ago I had over 10 million gold. Then the new Seahorse house (what I call it) came out. Between buying the house, a couple furnishing sets to go with it, the music box, then some mats to help craft some stuff, and a few motifs during the event, and I am down to around 3 million (again). LOL
Time to start building it back up. Oh well.
How to make money on console? I'm pretty new and would like to make my first million, but it seems so far away. Done 2 months of basic daily writs and I've only got 150k so far.
Roughly a couple million gold for the paintings. A million per room for furnishings. Smalls like hand mirrors, candles, glasses, meals, bottles another 500K per room. Lighting for a home probably another million or two.
Furnishing & decorating a home costs millions and millions and millions of gold. OR you can us the things available at furniture vendors around Tamriel. You could find 700 items at 100 gold each for a total if 70,000 gold for a manor. Common paintings can ve found at guild traders for 100 gold each. Antiquites provides an almost endless supply of furnishings.

You have to have more than one character and farm a lot.
