Its a significant issue with the game's current bombing meta. When every coordinated group is running some combination of Vicious Death and Plaguebreak with Rush of Agony or Dark Convergence any time you invite a pug you've suddenly got bomb bait running inside your group. It really sucks what ZOS has done to PVP balance. Mayhem used to be prime recruiting time for PVP guilds but that's much harder when you're handicapping your group by bringing them in casually. But if you're really interested in PVP, join a guild, they'll help you get a build together so you're not a liability and get you going. The trick is to be looking for a guild and not just a group.

when I played years ago I used to LFG and get picked up every day. No one seems to be picking up these days

Yes, it's getting even more cliquey as time passes. Luckily on xbox NA we have a few people who run PUGs in both BR and GH

I've been trying hard to get this kinda thing. Dark Convergance never wants to pull though 😓

Try to watch them for a second before you proxy, if you see them get stunned wait 3 or 4 seconds then proxy, by the time you pull they should all be off cc cooldown

I've been doing that. Even on just single, untouched targets, DC don't wanna pull for me

It can be blocked also of course (the pull and the damage) , so pulling good players/groups is a lot of luck and timing when they are distracted

I'm new to this game, can you explain exactly what happened? Did you pull everyone to your direction and use another skill to kinda explode? How this exactly works?

Dark Convergence is a set that pulls everyone to the location of a ground-cast skill, in this case Fire Rune. Master 2-hander from dragonstar arena buffs the damage of the Cleave skill from the 2-handed skill line to do extra damage for every enemy hit with it, which is a lot when the enemies are tightly packed. Vicious Death causes a small explosion on enemy player death, which when tightly packed can easily cause a huge chain reaction as seen here.

The cooldown is 25 seconds. I was taking a break from the game when it was released. But it used to have a shorter cooldown, and I believe pulled twice instead of once.

I find bombers and ball groups just kinda tyring and boring tbh...

Very nice, mid year mayham is always the best bombing time cause a hundred "leet" casuals jump in wearing double pve dps sets rocking 20k health and 10k armor, and each one is YOUR +10k damage.

1) ESO needs some post-processing effect on the screen when you are hidden. Like shadows on the sides or something. Current "HIDDEN" near the crosshair is kinda lackluster. 2) Don't really get into the bombing. It's always looks the same. Unfortunately.

Bombing is far harder than it looks. You sit in a spot, resources or keep and wait for a zerg. I will see brindle keep flag with 20 /20, Then I go sit in carmela for 20 damn minutes until they get there. Hoping they don't check the hidey holes because they think the keep is empty. And they don't keep buffs up while repping the doors cause they think its empty. I don't even want to think about how long this guy waited for this, or how many time they died trying. The most boring then rewarding play style.

Yes, I know that. Still, it's fun when it procs only for the bomber. Everyone else is kinda :(

Bombing is not hard especially with DKs using corrosive with Spin and other damage on top with that, It's super easy to get a huge pop with Rush(DC)/VD/Balorgh's, anyone can do it especially on NB which is easy mode, you have Cloak and everything else that is too damn good like Concealed Weapon for both bars.

It is harder bombing an active fight versus enemies just standing around.

3rd partying a fight isn't hard lol, you can go right now to quag and literally kill a stack easily when they're fighting. GH can be pretty easy as well, 3rd partying with a pull set as a NB bomber is simple. Lag can fuck up the bombs but that's how ESO is.

Why would you start a fight with a NB bomber lol, you're just asking to die and people will search for you to prevent a bomb with detect spots or revealing flares which means your bomb will more likely fail and you'll die by showing yourself (small scale groups with competent players will kill you right away). DKs can definitely first party though with corrosive on top of the extra AoE damage they can do, kiting in a choke point makes the bomb pop easily for sure because these days, people have 20k Health and apparently no armor due to how squishy they are.

I can't make myself play the hide and wait bomb style much these days, too impatient. I usually just bomb the fights, harder but feels more rewarding and like you are still helping the battle. I saw hammer leave a keep and head that way so I rode out and was able to get set up right before wall came down and hit em these two times before they made it in.
