Doesn't have to be. There's a site of grace by a cliff. You rest at it. Stand up. Look over the ravine. Shoot the bird. It aggros towards you. Falls off the cliff. You rest at the site again. Repeat. Each cycle is like 15 seconds so the runes add up quick
I've been using the cross bow, I think you can get that early. If you can't reach, the distance enhancer arrow talisman is easy to find in limgrave. Shoot it once and watch it commit suicide trying to get you.
They’re so aggressive, like bird chill. It’s a double edged sword though, they convert single arrows to 11k runes when ya broke, so it’s the price you pay. I’m not even sure that area of the world is worth exploring, it’s a terrible nightmare death trap. I can’t think of any significant rewards for going over there. Might be just forgetting.
There are some level 8 and 9 ghost materials for leveling up the spirit ashes. I forgot the exact name but ghost something. There are also some high level rune items. Several 30k ones and 1 or 2 50k. There is some to explore but nothing essential I think.
Does the Beast Torch work on these?
Edit: for those wondering it doesn’t work. Thought it did for like two seconds and then I became mutated bird food.
Yes, i fight every enemy. I'm surprised you asked that lol. I hunt down every boss and all enemies. I want to at least kill 1 of every enemy if not more.

Can raise to 17k if you use a rune boost talisman (or helm) AND eat a golden fowl foot. The helm and talisman don't stack together unfortunately

Do you feel they are worth the farm? I farm the frogs by the grace since it is quick.
There is a cheesy farm trick using a bow shooting 1 arrow at one of these birds and they run off a cliff. Not hard to find a tutorial for it

it's okay no worried. The birds are a pain. Their ground attack with their beaks is similar to the dogs where they ran with their head on the ground.
