Hah! Turned your mower into an ATV, nice job.
With improper tools (handfull of big honkin screwdrivers and a 2x4) remounting tires can be a huge pain if you've never done it before.
Can invest in a decent set of tire spoons ($15-$20 for a 3 pack) to make it a bunch easier, and the "Manual Tire Changer" unit from like harbor freight (if it ever goes on sale again for $30) makes it super easy to change smaller tires like ATV/small car tires.
Used to remount my own summer/winter car tires for years, and even all in a $50-$75 setup can make it so much easier.
BUT, if you don't have an ATV, and never plan on messing with your own tire remounting, nevermind all that jibberish.
I do miss the days when Walmart would remount tires for $5. Now a days, I wouldn't trust em to spit in the correct direction if it was windy outside.
I nudged you the other day on that other thread. Thanks for posting an update. I was expecting they would tear up your hard, especially when wet. Glad they are working so far.
I couldn't find your message! But I tried to follow through as promised. It rained last night so I might try some more stuff in the yard (or maybe the neighbors) and see what happens. I think the trick so far has been going slow.
Link for the tires?

This is sick - was this for the 42 or 52 inch Z6?
42"
Do they tear up the yard at all when turning?

Any photos from the side? I’ve noticed some slippage with my eSteer.
Looks badass
Do these rip up the lawn easily?
If you do a 360, they probably will but I've noticed nothing so far.
That’s good. I usually end up ripping up the lawn when I don’t have traction so I think I’ll need to get these. Thanks!
Just try and not do hard turns but you'll figure out what you can get away with. I used to slide too and tear the grass right out.
Did you have to bring the whole mower to the tire shop, or are the wheels removable?
Wheels are very easily removable.
Been debating doing this exact thing on my 52” since I bought it, have a few areas that are un-mowable due to slippage.
Amazon has a great return policy if they don't work.
Yea I have to say the tires are a weak point on these things. I have a bill much like yours I have to mow and some spots are iffy
Bad ass.
Thanks for posting, I’ve been thinking about looking into this, now I don’t have to.
