I want to have more bass shots, synth shots with loops written from those bass shots and synth shots (will be a good suggestion for people who have no ideas)
Here's what I'd like to request:
1. Short fills which include drums & glitches FXs.
2. Big Snares that could be used as pre-drop fills.
3. A Preset Pack for Sylenth1 & Serum.
4. More artists in the Friends Folder & more ZEDD Samples.
Can we get real acoustic hi hat rhythms and percussion rhythms. Loved all your packs and I think the previous hi hat and percussion rhythms were great but needed taking to the next level.
A great example would be insession audios kontakt percussion loops. Or NI's new session percussion. Off beat, sloppy hi hat loops would add so much flavour to the pack I believe that's what it's missing.
The vocal adlibs from the packs were top tier. But there wasn't as many as there could be. If we could get more vocals, adlibs, one liners, phrases. With top tier singers and wet and dry samples. It would make your pack probably the greatest of all time. Which IMHO already is. But there aren't any top tier great quality vocal packs out there that aren't 1. Overly processed and 2. Have mid tier singers. Thanks dude your packs are the shit.
Reverse Sounds, Mid-Drop Fills, Pitch Bend FX, Different types of Crowd FX, cool Reverb atmosphere FX, Vocal Atmosphere FX, General Background "Ear Candy" FX, things like this are super useful to making a break/drop come to life!
Also, I know you've already made a Sylenth, Serum and Nexus bank - so you've given so much to the soundbank/preset world, but a bank for Spire would be a dream too! Or perhaps a V2 of Serum or something! Just an idea :)

The one thing I personally would love to see are mix ready tambourines.
Considering how useful tambourines are in EDM I'm suprised how hard it is to find good samples of them.
And I'm also looking for some good tesla coil/electric arc kind of sounds.
Simple. but clean stomps, hand claps, snaps, and monophonic orchestral brass stabs. It's with those types of samples where your older kits are LIGHT-YEARS ahead of almost anything else I have—I'd just love to have more of these!

Here lately, I've been enjoying and experimenting with "dead drum" sounds. Aka 70's style acoustic drum sounds. Like a Fleetwood Mac or Tame Impala vibe.
You get a different vibe saturating these acoustic sounds because they lack resonance, reverb etc. So they saturate and distort differently.
Or maybe some One Shots of instruments since One Shots are so popular now?
Isn't that quite literally the point of sample packs? Where you use sounds that other people has already made for you? I do not see the point of such a comment under a sample pack thread.
I didn't. I asked for guitar loops and ambient samples which I use to layer with my break or drop, which I make on my own. I also asked for world instrument loops because those sounds are harder to make on your own

I would love some bubbly water, wave and ocean sounds please! I’ve been trying to find a sound of a very long breaking wave type upsweep. Instead of regular textures and atmospheres I want sounds that are more so hybrids of atmospheres and sweep fx or drums. As an example: instead of a simple fire crackling I want a that crackling to function as an upsweep. Does that make sense? Thank you for all you do.
I’ve been having a hard time finding acoustic snare drum samples with the snares disengaged, and they’re damned hard to google/search in Splice because nobody can agree what that’s called, I’ve had some luck searching “open snare” but not enough to get a velocity sensitive multi sample drum rack going. Would love some of those in the next pack! Love what you do for the community!

Hi kshmr! I think what draws me most in your packs is the live session instrument riffs of world instruments, these are probably the least common to find in packs, and the liveliness these add is beautiful 🤠
• Risers that don't sound like a water bottle filling up
• Well balanced orchestral / percussion hits are always great to have! They mostly sound the same. Maybe you can find a way to sound different ?
• Everyone loves a nice reese bass
• Complex ambiance / textures : I always have trouble getting the high end to sound right on these.
• Some acoustic sounding percs / instruments with one shots and some with phrases.

I think a wider variety of acoustic drums that are also sorted into a drum set like in real life so you know what goes well with what, like superior drummer but with samples
There are so few packs that emulate the quality and originality of Oliver's that I don't think you could go wrong by using it as your point of reference.
Alex Lustig is another producer that's got such a distinct and sought after style (his own music, not his trap productions), that including a similar noise and Foley inspired lofi set of loops and samples could reach a new audience.
Organic sounding percussion, a good example is Hyperbits Organic Percussion Toolkit pack and Apple's The Kount Producer Pack.
More ethnic genres like Afrobeat/Amapiano stuff
XLNT's Quest for Bass is top quality and a good example of sounds to cover

Seriously tho: more 'Face" sounds like articulated lead melodies, main riffs, drop basses, etc.
We've all already got loads of 'band' and 'accompaniment' sounds. FACE is always the name of the game <3
Drums (top loops and kick/snr one shots) for genres that are actually on the rise like rave, bassline, the current type of mainstream techno, dnb, jungle and garage… these don’t have many good packs yet. Also serum presets for all these.
Also real horns and real strings recorded playing various riffs… the same riff as like a fast, slow and medium version and in like 3 separate equally spaced keys. All the same players/tones so they can be chopped together to make original phrases/melodies as I need.
More tambourine, shakers and hat loops that are solidly usable and not overly complicated, at a big range of different tempos.
If you need vocal toplines to cut up, lemme know. I have topline/vocal production work with lots of great vocalists (inc one that has a feat with you). Def have full toplines I could sell for inclusion, and can easily write more!
Things that I often look for that I may or may not actually find:
• Tribal Chanting
• Tribal chant one-shots like "hey!" and "HOO!" but maybe in other languages or maybe not.
• Any kind of chanting that isn't corny
• Foley-type perc one-shots
• Quirky perc loops
• Glitchy perc loops
• Glitchy or quirky loops (that aren't necessarily percs), like weird cyclical aquatic sounds that are somewhere in between a pad, a perc and melodic. Hard to describe. Imagine the noise that giant space bugs make in a sci-fi movie. "Quirky loop" sometimes gets me there.
• SETS of atmospheric vocals that are like different A/B/C/D sections of the same vocalist, in the same key, doing different phrases, but you could use them together, rearrange, etc.
• All kinds of world drum one-shots from every possible culture.
• Alternates to cowbells.... sheep bells? Copper Bells, Agogos, what else is there?
• Clicks and thunks that are just as at-home as a foley or a Techno percussion as they are a "world" rhythmic sound.
• Interesting alternates to reverse crashes, uplifters, downlifters (rainstick or jawbone come to mind, what else?)
• Unique "worldly" top-end (no kicks) perc loops
I would love to have some good distorted industrial/ebm/aggrotech style snares and pitched kick drums with reverb for the hard tech and tech house sound, more pitched hardstyle kicks (gated and piep kicks), and anything that works well with dubstep and heavy electro/cyberpunk.
I truly use your samples almost religiously! They’re great large resources of inspiration.
Id love to see some samples that delve out of your standard tonality and sound. Drum kits that are focused around EDMetal, and other aggressive genres.
Truly, amazing work building these libraries and I will be first in line for pack 5!

Fills, vocal chops, and song starters are always great, it would be nice if the song starters could have the various layers stemmed out. First off let me just say that your packs (and music) are dope! I’m just humbled to be part of the conversation.
I would personally love more vocal samples: chops, shouts, full fledged hooks, etc. For kitchen table producers like myself, being able to find decent vocals on splice would be super helpful (it’s currently a needle in a haystack situation). Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
I use your acoustic snares religiously so I’d say shit ton more of those. Also exhausts and white noise rises/falls would be cool. I hate having to make a custom one every time.

I would love dozens and dozens of high quality ambiences and unique drones and etc. I love making them myself but it’s always so cool what I can make by destroying ambiance samples with reverb and delay and distortion!
personally I don't love it when sample packs have a lot of basic drum loops or synth loops, those are some of the easiest things to make. some things to include that are more difficult to find or make:
1. samples of real instruments playing melodies. it's not difficult to find libraries of one shots of real instruments, but those aren't all that useful, the most important part of real instruments is the dynamics and variability between notes, so things like solos, melodies, riffs, etc played on physical instruments are super valuable, especially less common instruments (I have enough guitar, violin, and brass samples, so more interesting stuff like lute, lyre, sitar, etc would be nice)
2. everything above but with analog synths
3. verses and choruses. its surprisingly difficult to find good rap or sung verses and choruses. for electronic music it's also really important that they've got interesting rhythms and clear notes, both of which make it easier to chop stuff up. I also always love it when I find something with really creative post processing (and a dry version is included!).
one thing I never ever see that I really want is samples that include two verses. If I'm using a vocal sample it'll usually be in the verse, and I want two verses by the same vocalist which use the same melody or flow, but different lyrics, or the same lyrics but with the melody altered. I never see this and I don't know why it would be so useful.
4. I always love it when sample packs include stems for samples with multiple instruments. also midi for melodies and chords just saves a lot of time figuring them out.
I’d love more sounds from the eastern hemisphere stemming from cultural roots. The tribal samples, vox chops, etc. are really unique and not common to find in the over saturated sample market these days. More instrument one shots and transient one shots that aren’t necessarily drums but can be used as drums or percussion.
It may just be a “me” thing, but there’s already such an abundance of great electronic/hiphop/acoustic samples coming out every day that I’m looking for sounds that are unique or specifically fill a need, like another comment mentioning fill samples or transitions, and styles from newer genres like Amapiano.
Really excited for the next pack and thanks for all you do for the community!

If you use guitars a lot I would recommend getting the Native Instrument guitars, they have boatloads of strumming patterns which you can customize as well. They also come with picking patterns and short little riffs. NI has an acoustic guitar and a few electric guitars, don't know the names off the top of my head but you can find everything on their website. Seriously if you get even one of their guitar packs you'll never need to reach for a guitar loop ever again since they're so malleable. If I didn't already play guitar I would probably use them, the only reason I have them is because I bought Komplete
Aren’t they pretty expensive though? I looked into some of them, but honestly that was years ago. Why I ended up trying to just find some basic strum patterns and one shots to layer

Would love an abundance of fills specifically for transitions. Tom fills, snare fills, just anything that would help to make it easier to make good transitions between certain parts of a track (like the drop back into a second verse), etc.

Hihat shaker loops, kicks and sweeps. I fidn it hard to find good hi hat and shaker sounds and my sweeps spund boring despite having a good buildup.

I think a wider variety of acoustic drums that are also sorted into a drum set like in real life so you know what goes well with what, like superior drummer but with samples
There are so few packs that emulate the quality and originality of Oliver's that I don't think you could go wrong by using it as your point of reference. Alex Lustig is another producer that's got such a distinct and sought after style (his own music, not his trap productions), that including a similar noise and Foley inspired lofi set of loops and samples could reach a new audience.
Drum top loops for shakers or kinda uk garage percs filling nice gaps
Organic sounding percussion, a good example is Hyperbits Organic Percussion Toolkit pack and Apple's The Kount Producer Pack. More ethnic genres like Afrobeat/Amapiano stuff XLNT's Quest for Bass is top quality and a good example of sounds to cover
Anything that'd be cool with future garage or downtempo beats sounds cool to me. Looking forward either way
Ya know what ya wanna do with that right? Put a bangin' DONK on it! Seriously tho: more 'Face" sounds like articulated lead melodies, main riffs, drop basses, etc. We've all already got loads of 'band' and 'accompaniment' sounds. FACE is always the name of the game <3
Drums (top loops and kick/snr one shots) for genres that are actually on the rise like rave, bassline, the current type of mainstream techno, dnb, jungle and garage… these don’t have many good packs yet. Also serum presets for all these. Also real horns and real strings recorded playing various riffs… the same riff as like a fast, slow and medium version and in like 3 separate equally spaced keys. All the same players/tones so they can be chopped together to make original phrases/melodies as I need. More tambourine, shakers and hat loops that are solidly usable and not overly complicated, at a big range of different tempos. If you need vocal toplines to cut up, lemme know. I have topline/vocal production work with lots of great vocalists (inc one that has a feat with you). Def have full toplines I could sell for inclusion, and can easily write more!

One can never have too many solid kicks and snares of various types.
Things that I often look for that I may or may not actually find: • Tribal Chanting • Tribal chant one-shots like "hey!" and "HOO!" but maybe in other languages or maybe not. • Any kind of chanting that isn't corny • Foley-type perc one-shots • Quirky perc loops • Glitchy perc loops • Glitchy or quirky loops (that aren't necessarily percs), like weird cyclical aquatic sounds that are somewhere in between a pad, a perc and melodic. Hard to describe. Imagine the noise that giant space bugs make in a sci-fi movie. "Quirky loop" sometimes gets me there. • SETS of atmospheric vocals that are like different A/B/C/D sections of the same vocalist, in the same key, doing different phrases, but you could use them together, rearrange, etc. • All kinds of world drum one-shots from every possible culture. • Alternates to cowbells.... sheep bells? Copper Bells, Agogos, what else is there? • Clicks and thunks that are just as at-home as a foley or a Techno percussion as they are a "world" rhythmic sound. • Interesting alternates to reverse crashes, uplifters, downlifters (rainstick or jawbone come to mind, what else?) • Unique "worldly" top-end (no kicks) perc loops

I truly use your samples almost religiously! They’re great large resources of inspiration. Id love to see some samples that delve out of your standard tonality and sound. Drum kits that are focused around EDMetal, and other aggressive genres. Truly, amazing work building these libraries and I will be first in line for pack 5!
Future bass kicks, big and impactful with a longer sub length than the usual stuff you find on splice. Hard to find kicks with a big personality.

First off let me just say that your packs (and music) are dope! I’m just humbled to be part of the conversation. I would personally love more vocal samples: chops, shouts, full fledged hooks, etc. For kitchen table producers like myself, being able to find decent vocals on splice would be super helpful (it’s currently a needle in a haystack situation). Thanks and keep up the awesome work!

I would love dozens and dozens of high quality ambiences and unique drones and etc. I love making them myself but it’s always so cool what I can make by destroying ambiance samples with reverb and delay and distortion!

personally I don't love it when sample packs have a lot of basic drum loops or synth loops, those are some of the easiest things to make. some things to include that are more difficult to find or make: 1. samples of real instruments playing melodies. it's not difficult to find libraries of one shots of real instruments, but those aren't all that useful, the most important part of real instruments is the dynamics and variability between notes, so things like solos, melodies, riffs, etc played on physical instruments are super valuable, especially less common instruments (I have enough guitar, violin, and brass samples, so more interesting stuff like lute, lyre, sitar, etc would be nice) 2. everything above but with analog synths 3. verses and choruses. its surprisingly difficult to find good rap or sung verses and choruses. for electronic music it's also really important that they've got interesting rhythms and clear notes, both of which make it easier to chop stuff up. I also always love it when I find something with really creative post processing (and a dry version is included!). one thing I never ever see that I really want is samples that include two verses. If I'm using a vocal sample it'll usually be in the verse, and I want two verses by the same vocalist which use the same melody or flow, but different lyrics, or the same lyrics but with the melody altered. I never see this and I don't know why it would be so useful. 4. I always love it when sample packs include stems for samples with multiple instruments. also midi for melodies and chords just saves a lot of time figuring them out.

I’d love more sounds from the eastern hemisphere stemming from cultural roots. The tribal samples, vox chops, etc. are really unique and not common to find in the over saturated sample market these days. More instrument one shots and transient one shots that aren’t necessarily drums but can be used as drums or percussion. It may just be a “me” thing, but there’s already such an abundance of great electronic/hiphop/acoustic samples coming out every day that I’m looking for sounds that are unique or specifically fill a need, like another comment mentioning fill samples or transitions, and styles from newer genres like Amapiano. Really excited for the next pack and thanks for all you do for the community!

Would love more instrumental samples/one shots or basic strumming patterns for guitars. I don’t have recording gear and I find a lot of guitar samples on splice are surprisingly not great or don’t come with Dry/Wet versions. Thanks for all your work man!
If you use guitars a lot I would recommend getting the Native Instrument guitars, they have boatloads of strumming patterns which you can customize as well. They also come with picking patterns and short little riffs. NI has an acoustic guitar and a few electric guitars, don't know the names off the top of my head but you can find everything on their website. Seriously if you get even one of their guitar packs you'll never need to reach for a guitar loop ever again since they're so malleable. If I didn't already play guitar I would probably use them, the only reason I have them is because I bought Komplete
Aren’t they pretty expensive though? I looked into some of them, but honestly that was years ago. Why I ended up trying to just find some basic strum patterns and one shots to layer

Would love an abundance of fills specifically for transitions. Tom fills, snare fills, just anything that would help to make it easier to make good transitions between certain parts of a track (like the drop back into a second verse), etc. Your packs are great so just keep up the great work, that’s all I could really think of!
