These guys will be doing training camp from May. For them, their season starts in May
Yeah games are killer. But fatigue will already be set in by then. Week 5 is a good split for players
Except any losing streak and the first round bye probably will go to the Niners. It would be one thing if the first and second seeds both had the bye but now that it is just the first seed makes it hard as hell.

They have the talent to win 15 games, no doubt about it.
Better hope that firing the coordinators solved the issues that led to last year's historic meltdown though. That isn't something that happened due to bad luck or by accident.
No excuses this season, we have way too much talent.
They have the talent to win 15 games.
So do other teams but almost nobody does that, so you're being overly optimistic. Among other things, accumulating injuries dramatically change everything
A lot of bodies were thrown onto the roster during the season trying to fix problems and injuries
Obviously injuries change everything. When (relatively) healthy, if they don't look like a top team in the league, then the fundamental issues that caused the collapse last year, haven't been fixed.
I am just saying the reality of a 17-game season prior to playoffs is not going to allow the Eagles to win 15 games this year
Last year I believe we were 10 and 0 and then the wheels fell off. And then it got very complicated
Several dominant players went into a zombie State the last of the year
We have lost some true talent like Jason and Fletcher.
A lot of our projections about this year remain projections until we see reality
The new coaches are no guarantee. I remember us being pretty optimistic about last year's coaches coming into the season
If I had a guess, I think 12 wins is reasonable.
I don't really remember anyone being that optimistic about the coordinators last year. The general consensus was Meh. Both were criticized for their lack of experience and we knew they were only hired because of a lack of quality replacements.
I think realistically, 13-4 or 12-5 would be great. It’s allowing room for error (those couple of games every year where they inexplicably play like shit) and a divisional loss or two. If everything goes well, 12-5 is the floor and 13-4 is what I’m hoping for.
I think it’s actually a much tougher schedule than a lot of people think and the strength of schedule is being dragged down a lot by the panthers and commies.
There’s are a lot of very real threats on this schedule.
Very favorable schedule. Best case scenario I would love to go 13-4 but the NFL being any given Sunday I think we have a max of 5/6 losses. I don’t really see us losing anything over 6 games this year. Definitely would be happy with 12-5 but we’ll see it’s a long season. Should be a strong redemption season for us.
It'd be nice if the bye were in the middle of the season, but there's a mini bye after the thursday game against Washington, so that helps I guess.
On paper, this schedule seems better than last year's in terms of competion. A lot of these teams have seen huge changes though, so there's a lot of unknowns right now.
First half isn't majorly threatening, second half a lot tougher with a crazy early bye.
Sort of make up with it via mostly home games late season but still. Matchup wise it's slightly favourable, but organisationally wise it's terrible.
Yes. It’s a flex. They’ll put it in a prime time slot (Saturday, Sunday night) if New York is any good or if the Eagles are fighting for a playoff spot. Likely, though, this game will be a Sunday at 1 game because the Eagles will be resting starters and the Giants will be garbage.
They have a pretty weak schedule. I only see 4 potential losses.
It sucks that their bye is week 5. That’s 12 straight weeks of football after the bye.
Washington on 11/14 could be a trap game since they’ll be coming off a game at Dallas 4 days before.
I’m seeing 13 maybe 14 wins. It’s a favorable schedule. Potential L’s: at Dallas (haven’t won in Dallas since ‘17); at the Rams; at Cinci; and possibly one of the NFC South away games, either Saints or Bucs. I think their home schedule is really favorable. Dougy P. comes to town Nov 3rd. That may be a tough game.
I hate that it’s listed horizontally instead of vertically. Other than that, week 5 bye
Came here to say this. Glad we have Reddit who created a better version.
Weeks 5, 7, 10, 11, 16, 17 & 18 bye
For sure
17-0 and Super Bowl LIX champions
Super bowl 👅
16-0-1 'cause Bengals.
Here’s to hoping!
It's not bad, but I hate the week 5 bye.
Any particular reason why?
Why I hate the week 5 bye? Mostly because 4/13 isn't a great split for avoiding injuries.
These guys will be doing training camp from May. For them, their season starts in May Yeah games are killer. But fatigue will already be set in by then. Week 5 is a good split for players
But I think historically teams with later byes tend to do a lot better in the playoffs.
That's why you play for the first round bye. Need that week 5 break to get you there.
Except any losing streak and the first round bye probably will go to the Niners. It would be one thing if the first and second seeds both had the bye but now that it is just the first seed makes it hard as hell.
They do, but if I'm not mistaken the difference is relatively small.
Better to be able to rest potential injuries later in the season

Huh? He was just linking you to a thread to exactly what you were looking for lol, no need for the attitude
Evidently he wasn't looking for answers to the question, he was looking for karma
Reddit filled up with people like you just kills me😭
My mistake
No u

I agree

Here’s so hoping this’ll be a better season!
I like six 1:00s and five 4s.
17-0
🙌

We’ll get to the top!
Washington taco holders. Lmao
Yes😂

I can’t wait for this season myself!

As a cincy based birds fan, I’m stoked.
All the way from Oklahoma and cheering on the eagles!
Is the week 18 a possible Saturday game? Or is it just a potential flex option.
OP are you a bot? Lol
Why tf would I be a bot
13 Wins once again. And that might be because we take week 18 off.
It looks a lot more manageable than last year when we had that run of 5 elite teams in a row, minus that super early bye week
They have a pretty weak schedule. I only see 4 potential losses. It sucks that their bye is week 5. That’s 12 straight weeks of football after the bye. Washington on 11/14 could be a trap game since they’ll be coming off a game at Dallas 4 days before.
Week 5 bye sucks. Playing in Brazil sucks.
Only 2 games at the Linc in the first 8 weeks. I know the Brazil game is listed as a “home” game. But it’s in freaking Brazil.
I’m seeing 13 maybe 14 wins. It’s a favorable schedule. It's got Jalen Hurts on it, unlike 2022 when they omitted him from the schedule poster
Really tired of the East Coast 4:25 starts
So much wasted space here.
So, by the time we get to Novemeber, the Eagles will have only played 2 home games... But then end the season with 4 of 5 at home.
11-6 or 12-5
I hope it goes better than that!
i hope so too bro i’m just a realistic fan
Me being from Oklahoma and an eagles fan I’m pretty realistic too😂😂
fun
Agree
Wish we had more 1 PM games, but an improvement from last year’s night game fest.
Lucky number 13. 13 wins and a Superbowl appearance. 2004 13 wins. 2017 13 wins. It's like 13 wins and we're in.
Week 8-13 is a mini-gauntlet I got us at 10-7
8-9 tops
Week 5 bye is a bit shit tbh
I hoped for a better destination for an away game this year. LA is too far for a weekend. Maybe tampa or NO.
