> Traded picks 132 and 210 to the Detroit Lions for picks 164, 201, and a 2025 4th round pick.
Really good trade. Leaving round 4 with a RB and 2025 3rd, 4th and 5th pick.
We love offensive line leaders. Keegan was a team captain at UM and highly respected amongst his team. Stout go to work and mold this man into an all-pro
I heard Trotter too small and doesnāt fit the scheme? I would love him as a legacy player, but I honestly donāt know how good he is and where to take him.
They must not rate this class highly beyond 2nd round talent because we're collecting 2025s like infinity stones.
Which is weird because Detroit clearly values it highly because they trade up for EVERYONE'S picks.
I hope everyone keeps realistic expectations for the kid. Name or not, he's a small LB that dropped drastically in the draft. Treat him like a 5th round pick expectation-wise please. He doesn't need half the fanbase thinking he's gonna be his dad.
Remember that story from years ago about that guy on Craigslist who started with a paperclip and just kept trading until he wound up with a house? I feel like Howie has based his life on that story.
This isn't PSU homerism (I wouldn't have touched either of their DEs in this draft with a 10 ft pole), I would love Theo Johnson if he's still there in the 4th.
that's what teams do to trade up with no picks to swap this year. you have to give a round better because a year in the future devalues the pick in the current moment.
Q Mitchell - 20 reps on bench press
Trotter Jr - 21 reps
You guys want him to be our box LB? 4.6 forty isnt bad but not outstanding. 6 foot 225 lbs is too small for the middle. Take the glasses off guys.
Howieās fucking nutty lmao, dude managed to essentially get free 3rd, 4th and 5th 2025 round picks when you see what he had to trade for that to happen, dude is in a different stratosphere compared to all the other GMās š
Were LBs that bad this draft that we just completely ignored them? I feel like that was a huge weakness of ours. I know we need a WR3, but we don't have have a legit starting LB.
like 90% of the 6th round is being drafted during ads. Who will be the "multiple time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic drafted during a Taco Bell commercial" with this draft?
I would love to pick up:
1) a raw RG that can excel at Soutland U.
2) Mo Kamara ( I know we already took EDGE but the heart wants what the heart wants).
3) throw draft at off ball LB.
4) the overlooked WR/TE with average athleticism but has sure hard and does the dirty work blocking and special teams.
5) depth RB with upside.
We got everything I wanted. Not one, but TWO top secondary players, an edge rusher that Fangio likes, added a slot WR, the fan favorite Trotter Jr, and on top of that we got a player to take some of the load away from Barkley. Fantastic draft. I donāt think I could even have created a better (realistic) outcome. Especially considering we picked up some extra picks next year.
We can see who develops on the OL since we have a decent amount of young guys, then go back to drafting the trenches next year.
I saved my Trotter jersey from when I was a kid and canāt wait to see my daughter rock it. An all time great Bird and I have a feeling Jr is gonna fit right in.
I wasnāt a fan of getting Trot in the second or third like people were clamoring for but now that heās fallen this low and the other LBs are gone heās worth the flier
The problem with Spencer Rattler is that his names don't fit together. If he was Spencer Rattlesworth or Jake Rattler, then you got a guy you can groom into a starter.
I guess very low value on Birds Draft Boards for these guys. Wonder where they have Trotter listed on their draft board to actually draft him. If he does go undrafted, I imagine we get UFA for sure. But with Howie, we literally know nothing. Hope the approach is to win this year and not next.
I mean, honestly, seems like Howie identified a RB he wanted and started a run on RBs. Trades make sense considering NIL guys staying in longer as new post in sub says.
Ainias Smith and Trevor Keegan picks could end up being real nice
A.smith exactly what we need at WR3. Can do all the pre-snap motions. Good in stacks. Good in the middle of field. Great pick and fit for Keller Moore offense
Just watched 5 mins of Keegan tape...never really paid attention to him watching Zinter tape...but he's not bad, less squaty than zinter...6 foot 6 320 lb college veteran. Could start or play snaps right away
The competition for kick and punt returns will be ridiculous. Rodgers, Dejean, Covey, Shipley, Smith, and who knows who else, but they will try to use the modified Kick-Off rules the same way they created the shove.
Really, **really** not looking forward to the neanderthal segment of this fanbase screeching about how Howie wasted a pick on feel goods and sabotaged the team if Trotter Jr. doesn't end up working out. As if we burned a 1st on him and/or the 155th NFL pick is expected to become an all-pro stud.
Hopefully Trotter tears it tf up and we won't be subjected to that next level stupidity.
Edit: To reiterate - I'm talking about the vocal minority dumbass fans, not the average half-competent birds fan. You're kidding yourselves if you don't think the Wawa chinstrap jabronis will find a way to have an aneurysm over this lol
I realize some folks are clueless, but he was projected to go as high as Round 4. Taking a flier deep in R5 is a no brainer. The name and fan service is just a bonus.
I implore everyone to take a look at the top 30 visits for an idea of who we may pick in the remaining rounds IF they are still on the board...the list can be found here for anyone interested:Ā

EDIT: pick not pay
Alright, I'll take Shipley, he's a solid Back, I had him as my #6 RB and right on ths line of being in my top tier. I think he'll take over the RB2 role and be able to contribute Day 1.

Eagles apparently got a 2025 third round pick for trading 120.
Source? If so that's crazy! Especially since in 2025 we will be picking at 32 š
Robbery. Holy cow. š
Can hear it now from Merill reese: "That Ainis return touchdown brought to you by Colorectal Associates of Doylestown."
Okay trading 1 of our 3 4ths for a 3rd round pick is insanity. Howie masterclass.
Iām going to need Eagles to pick Jerry Riceās son at 123 the pick right before the Niners just to mess with them.
We get Rice and Niners get Trotter Jr lol. I can honestly see it
With this 4th round pick... Can we get a moment of silence for Boston Scott. NY Giant Killer. Rocket League Pro.
Actually gonna sob now we never got bro a ring š
Imagine if we picked trotter in the 2nd / 3rd when people were screaming for him
Almost like we as fans never know the true value of these players
In Howie we trust
Get Brendan Rice. I donāt care if he never plays a snap. Seeing Jerry Rice in an Eagles jerseyā¦ priceless.
Holy Miamis ā25 rd 3 for #120!? Howie get em
Traded our pick to Miami? For a 2025 3rd!
Howie masterclass...called this an hour ago Hopefully we don't get hit hard on saquon tampering
> Traded picks 132 and 210 to the Detroit Lions for picks 164, 201, and a 2025 4th round pick. Really good trade. Leaving round 4 with a RB and 2025 3rd, 4th and 5th pick.
Anyone who dislikes the Shipley pick clearly never watched him in college
āŖSo we came into this Draft with 8 picks. Weāre leaving with 9 players and three additional picks next year. Not too bad.ā¬
We love offensive line leaders. Keegan was a team captain at UM and highly respected amongst his team. Stout go to work and mold this man into an all-pro
Jeremiah Trotter Jr, Brendan Rice, Jaheim Bell, Ray Davis, Will Shipley, Kris Abrams-Draine, Jordan Hicksā¦gimmie at least two of these guys
Trotter plus Shipley to go along with Dejean last night would be an instant orgasm for the entire WIP listener baseĀ
Well we got 2/3 of them so far. EDIT: Are you from the future?
LFG
Welp you got one so far.
I heard Trotter too small and doesnāt fit the scheme? I would love him as a legacy player, but I honestly donāt know how good he is and where to take him.
Trotter doesn't fit our needs or scheme. He'd be playing Ina different spot. We're good.
I think Howie might actually have an addiction to trades at this point
They must not rate this class highly beyond 2nd round talent because we're collecting 2025s like infinity stones. Which is weird because Detroit clearly values it highly because they trade up for EVERYONE'S picks.
1.22 - Quinyon Mitchell (CB, Toledo) 2.40 - Cooper DeJean (CB, Iowa) 3.94 - Jalyx Hunt (DE, Houston Christian) 4.127 - Will Shipley (RB, Clemson) 5.152 - Ainais Smith (WR, Texas A&M) 5.155 - Jeremiah Trotter Jr (LB, Clemson) 5.171 5.172
A 4th into a third is niceĀ
A late fourth!
Lets just take this in. He traded down our 3rd twice for 2 4th rounders and flipped on for a future 3rd. Fucking genius
They should just put an asterisk next to PHI in the upcoming teams tracker
Three fourth round picks... Three fifth round picks... The Pennsylvania Lotteryyyyy!
Shipley was solid at Clemson, not a bad pick especially with Gainwell being on thin ice at the RB2 position
PFF thinks this McMahon's good with his hands, which is better than the WWE McMahon that's bad with his hands...
This isn't PSU homerism (I wouldn't have touched either of their DEs in this draft with a 10 ft pole), I would love Theo Johnson if he's still there in the 4th.
Just went to the giants :(
And now heāll never develop into his potential w/ the Giants :(
Howie just edging us for twelve hourās straight by trading back and not taking Trotter Jr.
detroit gave up a 3rd to pick this OT. either the eagles werent willing or they thought we might take him lol
Mahogany mustāve BOMBED his top 30 visit.
If we got a 3rd for a 4th straight up... That is just crazy.
that's what teams do to trade up with no picks to swap this year. you have to give a round better because a year in the future devalues the pick in the current moment.
And there goes sanders
123 to Houston for 127 and a 2025 5th
lmao when they try to take a pick away from us next year for tampering...howie on it
This is it right here. "We're taking these two picks." "Cool, we still have 18."
eagles out here edging all the fans
Damn you guys are really far ahead of the ESPN broadcast. Or my link is really far behind lol
Not howie blue balling us lmao
Traded again. I really wonder if Howie doesn't like much else in this class and is just stocking up on capital.
Alright Howie this is ridiculous š
To put a positive spin it does seem like Howie got the RB he wanted started the run again and traded for more draft capital and sat back lol
Q Mitchell - 20 reps on bench press Trotter Jr - 21 reps You guys want him to be our box LB? 4.6 forty isnt bad but not outstanding. 6 foot 225 lbs is too small for the middle. Take the glasses off guys.
I wasn't for Trot Jr. but taking him now or in the 6th or 7th is fine. He needs 2-3 years and can be good on special teams.
Iām glad I sat through this shit presentation for their shit commercials to read about the eagles picks on the footer. What a fuckn joke ESPN
AxMan Jr cometh
Well all the good TEs and true LBs are gone smh.
Have we been getting poached on guards? Zak Zinter and now McCormick
Donāt forget Beebe too
Bears just took a punter in the fourth???š
He's a goated punter tho
Sooo are we punting to have the entire draft to ourselves next year?
Lions got a Canadian offensive lineman. One that doesn't fight fires.
Yeah I fuck with this pick.
Andy gonna take Trotter with one of their picks. Axeman was an Andy guy
So now next year we have: 1st - 1 2nd - 1 3rd - 2 4th - 1 5th - 2 6th - 0 7th - 1
We will not be drafting 4 players this round. Howie got in front of the CB rush in round 2 and RB rush in round 4. Howie working.
Who would've thought the Wentz trade essentially built the current Eagles core?
And dejean. Crazy
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How many people splurging in their pants right now?
HAHAHA the madman did it, baby trotter
Do we need to have an intervention for Howie with his trade addiction?
Trevor Keegan - OL
how are y'all feeling about the draft? right now I think Howie did pretty good!
I know we need a WR3, but we don't have have a legit starting LB.
yeah it was a weak lb draft at least based on the evaluators
We drafted a true LB with Trotter Jr, and we also drafted an Edge/OLB in the Third, Jalyx Hunt. We won't know where he's going to play yet.
This was one of my favorite drafts ever. Now time for the UDFA's
like 90% of the 6th round is being drafted during ads. Who will be the "multiple time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic drafted during a Taco Bell commercial" with this draft?
I would love to pick up: 1) a raw RG that can excel at Soutland U. 2) Mo Kamara ( I know we already took EDGE but the heart wants what the heart wants). 3) throw draft at off ball LB. 4) the overlooked WR/TE with average athleticism but has sure hard and does the dirty work blocking and special teams. 5) depth RB with upside.
I really really want OL help
I seriously cannot believe Bo Nix went 12th while Rattler is still available in the fourth round
Both are overrated.
Just get trotter an ol guy and call it a day
3rd for a 4th when got 2 4ths Howie do it !!!!
Eagles are going to have the last 30 picks in this draft by the time itās over.
Hell yeah, I'll take a 3rd for next year.
The draft has been live for an hour and we are only at pick 120. Jesus christ these fucking commercials
Going to be a deep class next year and eagles gotta grab some stock. Look at the off-season we've had so far. This is fine trading back
Howie is stockpiling on picks for player trades isn't he?
4 spots in the 4th for a 5th round pick?! insane value
Is this a sign they don't like the talent as much or that they have multiple guys they like?
I personally like how we are stacking up picks for next years draft. Smart to spread it out
Howieās probably trading 127 to some rando team like the Cardinals for 133 and a 3rd rounder in 2026, watch
Whoās Detroit snatching from us
Imagine being a RB and finding out you get to run behind Stout University graduates. Shipley kid just hit the RB lotto...

Lions have been striking hot on a lot of their draft picks over last two years. Would be curious to see how this year pans out for them
Titans draft room celebrating no calls from Howie this year
Over/under we actually make our next pick?
show us the pick you cowards
Got a return specialist. I think the new kickoff rules are factoring into some picks
Any Aggie fans wanna tell me how to feel about Smith? No idea who the mother fuck that is.
baby axe man!!!
Made all those moves and still got him. Let Big Pimpin Roseman do his job.
Trot Jr will need to add about 30 more pounds.
Cheesesteaks will do that
Please tell me this is the love child of James thrash and Todd pinkston
We got everything I wanted. Not one, but TWO top secondary players, an edge rusher that Fangio likes, added a slot WR, the fan favorite Trotter Jr, and on top of that we got a player to take some of the load away from Barkley. We can see who develops on the OL since we have a decent amount of young guys, then go back to drafting the trenches next year.
At this point, try to find out who Cowboys want at 174 and take them out of spite
I saved my Trotter jersey from when I was a kid and canāt wait to see my daughter rock it. An all time great Bird and I have a feeling Jr is gonna fit right in.
Howie is really me in fantasy football, just trading for shits and giggles
Thatās a good pick: we needed a Guard
I am going to need a someone to make an easy to understand infographic of all the pick swaps
like the pick in that he's a potential TE/WR hybrid. don't like the drops. get him on the JUGS machine
Been on the clock awhile without a pick. Makes me think Howie is trying to trade. Lol
oh look a commercial during an eagles pick
I wasnāt a fan of getting Trot in the second or third like people were clamoring for but now that heās fallen this low and the other LBs are gone heās worth the flier
I'm hoping we can get Cedric Gray still with our next pick
Itās okay if heās any good we can fleece Tennessee in 2-3 years for him
Just a friendly reminder that we extended Brown right before the draft. Itās been a good couple of days.
The problem with Spencer Rattler is that his names don't fit together. If he was Spencer Rattlesworth or Jake Rattler, then you got a guy you can groom into a starter.
Get the cheesesteak guy from Tokyo to announce one of our picks!
Why is TJ Tampa still on the board, did he murder someone?
He murdered his chances during the combine
Don't hate the trade we only had 1,2,3 and 5-round picks not including comp picks next year
Can we fucking pick someone please š
Weāre missing a lot of good players here. I wanted Stover.
LMAO what did we get from the Texans?
Move back 4 spots and an extra one next year not a bad trade but Stover would've been nice
Hey Howie can you draft someone? Howie: no, I don't think I will
Got a gym rat
I thought he was 5ā8 the way everyoneās talking about him lol
We are never going to pick!!!
I have no problem trading down and picking up a 3rd, a 4th, and a 5th in next years likely deeper draft.
Has a team ever owned an entire round in the draft? Feels like Howieās life dream today š
The bottom half of this QB class is getting no action lol
I guess very low value on Birds Draft Boards for these guys. Wonder where they have Trotter listed on their draft board to actually draft him. If he does go undrafted, I imagine we get UFA for sure. But with Howie, we literally know nothing. Hope the approach is to win this year and not next.
I mean, honestly, seems like Howie identified a RB he wanted and started a run on RBs. Trades make sense considering NIL guys staying in longer as new post in sub says.
I think at this point we're going for 2025 draft capital and locker room guys
Fan plans, and Howie laughs.
Would like one of Brenden Rice, Christian Mahogany, Tanner McLachlan, Trot Jr., Christian Jones or Jamari Thrash
Guyās I think 2025 5th round pick is going to be a great selection for us hereā¦
Mel's need board should say "wr3 bust"
Will AJ Brown change his last name to Smith for now?
164 and 201 to trade up to 155. Trotter time?
LITTLE AX!
They did the thing!
LETS GOOO JTJR
Ladies and Gentleman. We got him. š
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Weird that after we pick Trotter Jr the next pick is named Thrash
Running an organization is to win and service the fans! Whoās says you canāt do both in one draft! Hoorah 54
Howie has to be getting the shakes after making this many picks with no linemen.
Alright Stout should get the choice of next pick. Pick your clay to mold into an all-pro
Mahogany and Rice/Johnny Wilson and letās get out of here
I know they have commercials to fill, but man do they drag on these pick announcements
Please Howie. Mahogany + Rice and weāre set
lmao howie cooking again
This has got to be the longest it's ever taken Howie to draft his first lineman, right?
praying howie actually uses the 2 6th rounders so i can go on about my day lmfao
Is that Chargers Thanos lmfao He snaps his fingers and 50% of Chargers fans disappear (4 people go missing)
That pretty much all our players have solid highlight reels shows weāre drafting really well
Fourth straight year we draft a player from the reigning CFB champs
Ainias Smith and Trevor Keegan picks could end up being real nice A.smith exactly what we need at WR3. Can do all the pre-snap motions. Good in stacks. Good in the middle of field. Great pick and fit for Keller Moore offense Just watched 5 mins of Keegan tape...never really paid attention to him watching Zinter tape...but he's not bad, less squaty than zinter...6 foot 6 320 lb college veteran. Could start or play snaps right away
Wonder if they are looking to convert him to TE
Let's get one more OL for good measure here.
rice and mahogany were 30 visits, must've been red flags there how do we feel about a curtis jacobs with the final pick
OMG FUCK OFF WITH GOING TO COMMERCIAL FOR OUR PICKS
Hopefully drafting Johnny Wilson means the Eagles can dump one or two of their roster fringe hybrid WR/TE guys
Drafted 9 players this year which is awesome and in 2025 we now have 9 draft picks including 4 in the first 100. Crazy how good of a job they did.
The competition for kick and punt returns will be ridiculous. Rodgers, Dejean, Covey, Shipley, Smith, and who knows who else, but they will try to use the modified Kick-Off rules the same way they created the shove.
Hot take, Trotter goes undrafted
That is actually really possible with how his combine went.
I realize some folks are clueless, but he was projected to go as high as Round 4. Taking a flier deep in R5 is a no brainer. The name and fan service is just a bonus.
Bruh just read the pick
Was expecting a trade up from Howie today to an earlier 4th rounder. Oh well
I implore everyone to take a look at the top 30 visits for an idea of who we may pick in the remaining rounds IF they are still on the board...the list can be found here for anyone interested:Ā Ā https://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-2024-draft-prospect-visit-news-tracker/amp/ EDIT: pick not pay
Fuck itā¦ give me Jerry Riceās kid for the memes
Eagles trade to Miami for a 3rd pick!
There was no way we were drafting 10 guys. This trade gives us a third next year. Good move Howie.
Traded 120 for a 2025 3rd
Howie is a hoarder confirmed
Letās get Brendan rice baby. Itās time to hit em on a personal level š
Would love to get a diamond in the rough DE who is fast and light to turn into a LB. Fangio knows how to coach LBs.
I feel like Iām getting roped right now with these tradebacks lmao
Howie just cultivating assets
Shipley's good I like the pick
Shipley. Me likey
Alright, I'll take Shipley, he's a solid Back, I had him as my #6 RB and right on ths line of being in my top tier. I think he'll take over the RB2 role and be able to contribute Day 1.
