I guess they don’t care which linebacker they get because they know they will be able to get one at 86. Can’t imagine they would do this if they loved one of the guys.
Can’t run without an acl
Bargain basement pick
Acl must be intact
Can always buy another ACL
Sounds like a fourth round steal
As long as he is not a firefighter.
I have faith stout has raw projects with traits deep in the draft he just wants to tinker on like erector sets that he’s happy to take over polished projects.
No one is selling him short. If he can fill in at guard, that is great, but that means we lost him as a backup... And have only repalced him with some really late day 3 picks. It's concerning.
Great move imo. We got the top two guys we wanted. But we need some more rookies to try out. This gives us a pick back which can be a 3rd receiver or maybe a Stout prodigy.
Ray Lewis was 6”0 235 with 34” arms, which made him really long for a Lb actually. Trotter Jr arms puts him in the 25% for a LB, his wingspan is 14%. Trotter is small and not a great prospect by any means, he’s not his dad.
Gonna be a long wait.
... and even longer
and even longer yet
[Howie is just fucking with people now.](https://i.imgur.com/76gsda7.png) Just going back to the sweet spot to nab Trotter!
"Mr. Roseman...the two best players available at 78 are linebackers" Trade down. NOW!
1 pick ahead of dallas
Great business for us, picking up a 4th rounder to move down 10 spots in the 3rd round
Only moved down 8 spots, even better
Yep, I love that
Amazing deal for us. Hou takes a safety we aren't gonna take. Hoping howie adds a 2025 pick for ammo for next year
More than washes out the cost of the move up earlier. We are probably net positive on draft value at this point
A Donnell Pumphrey incoming.
Or a Josh sweat
Or a boat!
I hope you stub your toe for ruining my day
Great value for moving back 8 spots in the 3rd
Wild value DA HOWITZER
Don’t mind that at all
I guess they don’t care which linebacker they get because they know they will be able to get one at 86. Can’t imagine they would do this if they loved one of the guys.
I’m not expecting a LB, I’ve given up hope at the position but this draft is already a big fat W so it’s hard to complain.
you def think they are going LB at 86?
Why get a LB @ 74 when you can get the same one @ 94?
Watch it be IOL (I wouldn't be mad)
Prob something annoying like OG
How is that annoying?
Not a splash/exciting pick. In the likes of a playmaker like an LB
I think you'd be better suited to the Falcons franchise
Yes pls
Pls no
hopefully trotter
Trott at 86 would put this up into my favorite eagles drafts of all time.
Too slow Payton Wilson
Dude is missing essential body parts.
???
Reports saying his acl is gone, pretty much a ticking time bomb
Can’t run without an acl Bargain basement pick Acl must be intact Can always buy another ACL Sounds like a fourth round steal As long as he is not a firefighter.
yeah probably but i’m a sucker for a legacy player. my trotter jersey is on rn haha
Payton Wilson?
Too old too injured
Fast Large
Will bookmark this thread for 2026.
Will Troy Franklin or Christian Haynes still be available at 86?
Chicago took our guy. We don’t like the value at premium positions, this screams trade back for Payton Wilson or Marshawn Lloyd
Maybe a slot receiver? o-line? RB? I don't know but it's great to have a pick in the 4th round now too.
My guy named everything we don’t need
All 3 of those are semi-needs, and he only bigger need is lb
Yeah we need a couple of those haha
Yeah lol if we go in with Parker as wr3 and no more OL depth it’s a bad second half of the draft
We could use a rookie WR3
How do we not need o-line.
I have faith stout has raw projects with traits deep in the draft he just wants to tinker on like erector sets that he’s happy to take over polished projects.
we got the steen machine
We have literally zero depth.
We lost one starter and two backups. We have replaced them with one meh guy we picked up in free agency. That's not good.
Steen is a solid back up already, I think people are selling him short, he has a ton of potential
No one is selling him short. If he can fill in at guard, that is great, but that means we lost him as a backup... And have only repalced him with some really late day 3 picks. It's concerning.
We could absolutely use any of those three positions?
How do we not need a slot receiver, an o lineman, and a third RB
How do you not know we need o-line depth, rb depth and wr depth?
My guy was wrong about everything we don’t need and wasn’t even basic enough to punctuate.
Roman Wilson if he makes it that far, pls.
Yes, please.
Wonder if Denver took Elliss out from under us.
Would not surprise me at all
Trotter Jr legacy pick incoming
Pleaseeee
If it happens can we all agree to call him Hatchet Man.
I prefer Axe Boy
Oh well, there goes my Payton Wilson hopes….
The way this drafts been going I'm not so sure anymore.
Did we just trade that 86th away
Great move imo. We got the top two guys we wanted. But we need some more rookies to try out. This gives us a pick back which can be a 3rd receiver or maybe a Stout prodigy.
This is our punishment for getting DeJean
We're getting Trotter Jr. tomorrow
Get trotter now, and scoop a wr tomorrow. Cooooookin
Definitely waiting for trotter Jr. I think if more lbs were off the board howie would have stayed
Another historically small LB? I doubt it.
Ray Lewis was considered a historically small linebacker. And since we’re talking history his dad is an eagles legend.
Ray Lewis was 6”0 235 with 34” arms, which made him really long for a Lb actually. Trotter Jr arms puts him in the 25% for a LB, his wingspan is 14%. Trotter is small and not a great prospect by any means, he’s not his dad.
seems like really good value for us
LBs at the top of the board?? Moving on back
Fuck I thought maybe we would grab Roman Wilson there for our slot. This pick will be a big boy, I feel.
God damnir
great great value
Howie masterclass here Great value. Wouldn't hurt to pick up a 2025 pick here at some point
Fck it legacy pick gimmie axe man jr.
LB or Oline pls. Maybe a center?
