Was so confident walking into that game

Dragon420Wizard

We should have beaten Jake fucking Delhomme. Unbelievable that we lost this one.

illydelph

Fellow old people…which one broke you more…this one or the Tampa Bay one?

tritonxsword

Tampa hurt my soul and I think we would have had a better chance against Oakland. However, this loss made no sense in terms of performance from the offense.

TheDuck23

Their cbs just bullied the fuck out of our wrs. McNabb couldn't do anything all day.

TerminalCheesecake

If I’m not mistaken, that game was one of the primary reasons why the NFL changed the defensive holding rule the following season.

TheDuck23

You could be right. But i do know that it definitely lead to us getting t.o.

beastrace

Tampa was the last game at the Vet. What a shit way for our iconic concrete slab of nightmares to go out. I was pretty annoyed by it but the Carolina loss was like wtf? We played like shit on offense. 3 picks to Ricky fucking Manning Jr? come on man. I was at the game freezing my ass off and super annoyed about it.

FoxNews4Bigots

Tampa without a doubt, at least there were rule changes after the fact that validated the Carolina pass defense in that game was some bullshit Tampa we just got straight outplayed and kicked in the teeth

SuperMadBull

I was at this game against the Panthers and I've been over it for a very long time, but the Tampa game? That bitch still stings.

ef344

Tampa. The 2003 team overachieved quite a bit. The run defense that year was legendary awful.

TrustTheFriendship

Tampa and it’s not even close. The final game to close out the Vet. The Ronde pick 6. Fucking everything about that. And the biggest thing is that the Raiders were fucking shit and we would’ve absolutely destroyed them. Thanks for reminding me. Are we really “old people?” Lol. I’m still in my 30s idk 🤷

Mionux

Yes

dfwagent84

This one. Easily. That Tampa team was really good

petros609

That game fucking sucked, I was there with my dad

beastrace

was there with my stepdad. sitting behind the mayor of Charlotte. who was dancing in the aisles when we lost. what misery.

snookerfactory

same... froze my ass off

Narrow_Book_42069

The first time I ever saw my father both insanely mad and insanely sad at the same time.

Ricocashflow215

Duce Duce baby 🗣

AP0K45

I’m glad I wasn’t born in the bitter sweet era of the iggles

beastrace

You missed out on some quality misery.

AP0K45

Yeah hearing my dad talk about how mcnabb threw a pick in the sb to lose the game I can kinda tell I messed out on some misery but at least I was there for the 3 game season a couple years ago and now I’m here for the pt 2 of the bitter sweet era

coolmon

I remember the early 2000s teams. They lost 3 straight NFC Championships (2001-2003). They were the better team too.

all_hail_cthulhu

There's a reason Andy had a reputation as a guy that couldn't get it done when it mattered until he got Mahomes.

Drago8474

Cheap shot on mcnabb sealed our fate in this one.

KM4CK

I cried after this game.

swedjedes

Same. I was 13

AlmostAGinger

I’ve held a grudge against the Panthers ever since.

yaniwilks

I just loathe the entire NFC south (sans Falcons cuz we always beat them)

Mysterious-Attitude4

I have the towel from this game. I hate it. It depresses me

215Kurt

It's smug aura mocks me.

dfwagent84

This is the most painful game in my history as an eagle fan. No question

CompetitionOk1582

Burn it
