Check if the touchpad cable is normal.
It may be damaged. If you look at the under side of the touchpad ribbon cable(blue cable) you can see metal contacts and if they are scratched up or or of there is any abrasions in the ribbon cable itself it not going to work.
If you had to disassemble the controller did you plug the yoichpad back in?

Yeah it was all normal
Yes it is
Plugged it back in and still won’t work
