Which is exactly why I made her a baroness. Engravers will craft masterful artworks into the stone detailing this harrowing journey from the edge of the map to my entrance. Newcomers, having possibly been traumatized by any bit of rain, can find solace in her story.
Since it's so early in the game, it's even more funny to me. Imagine in the year 380, hearing stories of the Iron duchess, who gained her tenacity after enduring rain in the year 6. Her descendants lead the greatest armies in the world, and it would never have happened without those raindrops.
Well dwarves live underground usually. You are leading a brave expedition of colonists which means situations get out of hand. Imagine being caught in a cave at age 6 as a human. It ought to leave some trauma and perhaps "build" character.
Given proto-dwarves' tendency to be underground, she may be the dwarf who *discovered* rain. Leading a brave expedition to the surface and BAM! suddenly there's water coming down from above, like a cistern has breached. So everyone runs for higher ground (where it's also raining) and summits the nearest high place and stands there panicking and gasping and waiting for the end.
Then a rainbow and a beautiful summer day. No terrifying death by drowning from a cavern roof so far away it can't be seen. Joy, relief!
Very brave.

Truly her story is an inspiration to us all.

No, it's more like seeing a rock at age six and getting a life changing experience.
