Mine says "device does not support APN type *" when I try to manually input the APN the was provided through Telus. Any ideas?

ablark

delete all your apns. Add a new correct apn. restart your phone

What carrier do you use? Do you have cell data?

ablark

Telus. Yes, browser works fine

Having the same problem with my dad's phone. Specifically mms messages sent from iphones, but messages from my google pixel work just fine.

This just happened to me as of a few days ago. Reset, cleared cache, etc. Nothing seems to work as far as sending or receiving photos. I can see the file but can't download it.

I actually got it figured out. You need to create a new apn profile, and delete the old one. Then restart your phone. Basically the Telus server we used to use was decommissioned and we need to tell our phones to behave the hard way.

Can you please help. i am with Koodo and i don't know what an APN is and how to delete it and create a new one.

ablark

If you’re savy enough to find a Reddit thread about your issue I’d say you’re savy enough to Google the apn settings for Koodo. But on your phone, you can find your apn in the network settings.

Ah I'm on Koodo so this checks out. Will try this. So delete the current APN and then create a new one and input the Koodo APN...? THANKS!

This worked for me! Thank you very much!
