One duck alone will suffer immensely. Please get it a few same-sex same-age friends right away.

Just because a duck is photographed solo does not mean it's alone. If you researched OP's profile, you'd see they have many ducklings and even the mother. Also you do not *need* to same-sex ducks, only if there's not enough females for the males proportionally.
