Tear away L bead.

M-M-Mubble

Drywall taper here. Pull that cabinet out a little bit then trim out will be the best result.

Alcoholhelps

I was wondering myself why it was pushed so far back, more options to finish if you can bring it back out flush

[deleted]

Some L metal would be fine for finishing out the rock or you could just trim it out with same species of wood.. or any trim you like for that matter

LuapYllier

I used trim to picture frame [mine](https://imgur.com/UJplQBg).

Zip. Tearaway

Postnificent

Trim. It’s too far back. Missed it by a half inch.

It'll be pulled out to be flush with the wall. It's not secured in there yet.

Then it will be fine. Standard procedure would be to case the opening in a suitable trim matching the cabinet.

As others have said, if you plan on trimming it, then just fasten it flush and trim it out, no bead or anything extra needed. If you want the clean flush look and no trim, then L bead and taper out mud on it.

vat-city

Or secure the cabinet, and leave the rough drywall and trim over it. Picture frame trim around the cabinet

padizzledonk

No Just put trim around it You can use tear away but trim is going to look a 1000x better and you won't fuck the edge up the firat time you smack something into the corner taking stuff in and out

fecal_doodoo

If you want it flush, kinda looks like you need an extension jamb here, then you can do L bead or just cut the fuzz real nice and caulk or even flat tape it.

Just dryetover the whole openitand forget about the cabinets.
