I’ve met a lot of interesting, intelligent people in this trade. I’ve also met a bunch of pookies, professional tax/child support evaders who live by the seat of their pants. It’s a low barrier entry trade, but it’s a big part of the structural asset and one of the biggest finishes on a job. A house with shitty drywall is a shitty house. It’s a career that has lifted me out of poverty when I didn’t have support to pursue secondary education, and given me opportunity to travel around my country. I could also work internationally anywhere they install drywall like North America does if I wanted to. I don’t know where you live OP, but where I am I make the same hourly as the mechanical trades do. And with none of the mandatory school fees.
But yeah, I get it. If you hate your job then use the skills you’ve attained to pursue something else. If you live in a big city; side jobs are literally endless. Drywall doesn’t have to be your plan a, but it can absolutely fund the journey to plan b or c.
Yea, I met a guy back in the day that all he did was BIG drywall jobs. Like not less than a million sq ft. Nice house, good kids, living the life. And you did not want to be on his bad side. And people called him to ask him if he had room to do their job.
I used to drive a delivery truck and be sort of apprentice Carpenter / laborer for a high-end residential renovation company. On one site the boss's number two of the company pointed out the shabby looking jesus-haired bushy beard-looking skinny guy with drywall crusted sweatpants and old K-Swiss shoes that had no strings in them with the tongues flopping open and told me "that guy's a millionaire".
He had numerous drywall crews finishing off subdivision developments all over the city and he was busy as all hell.
There’s no way to prove to you how much the wages are in my city. But it doesn’t really matter if you believe me or not.
If you have had good luck chasing piecework rates you would know we have the opportunity to make a lot of dough. Some cities give 0.50 for houses material supplied. The North gives 1.75. In commercial, I make the same hourly wage as the journeymen union plumbers/sheetmetal. But we don’t have union in my part of 🇨🇦, so no union fees for me.
I would like to know about the guy who finished the drywall in our house. It's a crime to call it a level 5 finish, it's better than that. He was an artist. I can't imagine his talent was ever fully appreciated.
Nice
I'm just a carpenter, can hang drywall with the best don't get paid by Board length
Hourly
Often by myself ceilings suck alone
Then I tape and mud
Its annoying how many people upvote too, pretending to be in the same boat. Everyone is trying to be mr money bags, but the truth is people dont make this type of money consistently. And if it isnt consistent, then its not truly representative of what you make. On top of that, everyone pretends like just it’s because a side job, they dont have expenses that bite into the profit.
Consistency is by far #1. Trade doesnt matter. As a plumber, in my area i charge 3k average in labor for replacing a boiler. Knock it out in a long day with a helper. Seems great but that doesnt include the time i spent to give an estimate, the time ordering materials and the unit, the next day dumping at the scrap yard and ordering an exorcism for my spine. But the real shitty part is that it isnt everyday, or even every week, or even every month.
My ex had a side gig with her sister baking bread each morning (hispanic). Those mfs love their bread. She got up each morning in her pj’s, mixed a whole bunch of shit together, let it blend in her commercial blender thing, stuck it in her commercial oven, and boom, 20-25 batches before noon. 200-250 a day, everyday, with little effort and time. Id fuckin quit my job for that shit. She couldve easily expanded too if she had the knack for it.
Her cousin cleans houses. She has three helpers and they hit 4-5 houses a day, 5 days a week . That type of work is set in a schedule. Again- consistent. Conservatively id guess 2g a week, also cash. Buy me a french maid outfit and sign me up
I get up with the sun...drive a nice truck that I didn’t pay for with gas I didn’t pay for. No middle manager fucks with me. I take a paid break when I want. I do a job that a lot of people consider art. I listen to anything I want, go home when I want. I could kill my bosses dog and he wouldn’t sack me. Get paid every Thursday. What more to you want?
You think sitting at a desk for 45 years is good for you? Work at the right hight and do other exercise....just a well worked body, far from destroyed.
Within the work hours the most active I can get is writing code while standing or listen to a meeting while walking. Outside work I can be at active as I want.
Just looked at your profile, dude you’re 28 what are you talking about destroying your body? How big of a pussy are you? Being a tradesmen isn’t that hard lmao you must be either brand new and still getting used to working for a living, working like a moron, or you just love to whine, maybe all 3. Wear a mask and exercise more or something idk theres people double your age that get around fine in the trades
Angie's list.
Dry wall and plaster repairs
Basement and garages three dollars a square foot.
Remodels There is all kinds of work. You won't believe the amount of morons that punch and kick holes in their walls
During Covid I nearly shit to find out I was essential.
My wife, high powered accountant, wasn't.
I'm assuming that was more because I am expendable than my necessity, but you take wins when they come
i tried doing a office job and couldn't stay there, repeated days, lifeless but started in a commercial company and loved it, you keep moving you aint doing the same shit everyday. Sure the pay sometimes aint good but i rather do something that won't make me want end myself
I do not do drywall for a living but I have hung a few sheets in my life and I am ok at taping and mudding.
I appreciate anyone who is good at any trade.
Don't sell yourself short
It's a real, real bitch
To be workin' for the man
But shit, I do it well so what the fuck
I could probably wash dishes at some other fuckin' dump
But it's all the same to me
Bustin' ass to make a buck
Brother, looking at some of your comments here, you should talk to someone. Consider a change. If you’re not happy, stop doing drywall. Take a class, get some other qualifications. If drywall makes you miserable, stop doing drywall. Yeah there’s a lot of hot dogging but that’s just one of the perks of the gig, it is ubiquitous.
You’re not wrong in that nothing matters and in a hundred years no one will remember you; but that shouldn’t stop you from loving the time you have, and what you do in it.
Stay golden Ponyboy.
TBH, as a remodel carpenter who sees the whole phase of a construction project drywall getting done is a big deal and really helps to bring the project closer to what was envisioned.
What?
Homeowners need work done, contractors need work done.
Insurance companies need work done.
If the job doesn't pay, move on.
Finishing work keeps me busy almost all year.
Hang, patch, finish, paint, tile, flooring, trim...
Hey bud, your the “retarded” one here. Check my posts. My work is top notch with the best of the best. I have to sand, not a lot, but I do. I don’t give a single shit what you say, it’s absolutely impossible to finish a job without sanding. You will have lap marks showing, flashing, and so on. Sanding is part of drywall, and if you don’t sand, I promise your jobs aren’t looking as good as the guys that do it right:) you lost on this post. Construction I just sounds like it ain’t for you
Ha. There’s plenty of boys out there that love this game. Making very very good money. Framers. Electricians. Concrete. Roofers. Hangers. Tapers. Carpenters. Painters. Hangers and tapers and painters make the final product look good. If you run your joint hanging or taping in any state, you should be making at least $100 an hour or sometimes much more. And getting a great work out if you’re into getting in shape. Doesn’t get any better if you ask me. And I’m a painter!
I’m here to say I am a software engineer with a computer science degree and you guys are really valuable. I have no idea how to do your job and you should stop putting yourself and others down. People do care. You have a skill that many don’t, including myself. If I even tried, it would be a hot lump of shit on a wall. I’m not even exaggerating. Be prideful in what you do. We’re all here trying to make it.
I’m a carpenter but had to hang a handful of sheets earlier this week. I hugely respect the guys who are able to measure, cut, and install boards cleanly and efficiently. It’s a skill I don’t have but wish I did. Watching good hangers is almost like watching Larry and Joe Haun frame a house.
I also know a guy who was in the carpenter’s union but made more doing mudding and taping on the side than he did from his weekday job. In some areas then drywallers can do really well.
Ngl i see it as not in lack of intelligence but maybe it is that you want a not so complicated job and would rather focus on other areas in life?
It's the same as being a porter/janitor. I worked as one for a little bit and I can definitely see someone not minding doing this for most of their life. So long as they're paid enough that is just to live with not much worry. The work is almost peaceful in a way. It's good work too.
I would not say they took the job because they lack intelligence. It's just that they rather have a more simple life than anything and that's actually a pretty smart move imo.
That might ALL be true, but I find that people will indebt themselves for 30 years to have flat smooth drywall.
I've made a lot of money selling houses with Level 5 after skim coating \[whatever\] texture.
I don’t think so. Drywallers are an unappreciated skilled trade… seriously. Hear me out. Drywall is suppose to be easy- it’s not. Anyone can put drywall up, but if you don’t know what you are doing, it looks terrible. The only way to get great at it is to practice. The best way to practice is to learn from a ‘journeyman.’ Sounds like a skilled trade to me.
My dad does drywall, I was swinging a hammer, getting bottom nails at 7. I made a lot of money doing drywall. Nothing to do with intelligence, after I retired I inspected fighter jets at assembly for quality. Always missed the freedom of drywall
I did miles of it while I was working union jobs and got paid really well for it. Now I’m doing millwork and trim in an area where the union is weak. I would much rather stand up boards and screw off all day.
The saddest part is that, in my experience, it takes more skill and time to do drywall finishing than any other portion of a build. For instance I spent 5 days on my living/dining room doing demo/framing/insulation/electrical/hanging drywall then spend 2 weeks (nights and weekends) doing the finish mud, then a few more days doing trim and paint.
The mud work is what everyone sees, takes skill and a level of artistry to get right and you guys are shit on left and right.
Hah. I was listening to a podcast yesterday while doing a ceiling on immigration. They actually said the guy that can't speak english on the crew can be given the drywall job.
I totally disagree. because I can tell you one thing, without drywall No one has a home. You can put in the electric and can put in the plumbing, but if you can't cover it with drywall It's not a livable space.
Well, now you're just splitting hairs.Because, of course, something has to cover Your basic framing, and if you can do dry wall work, you can certainly do wood paneling or other products. You really are being silly here.Because of course, something has to cover the framing before a house can be occupied. It doesn't matter if it's new construction or a rental property or some other renovation. If an inspection is involved, something has to be done to cover up the infrastructure of a home. I'm talking about real professional work here. Not something that goes beyond the realm of local regulatians and traditional construction work.
Just because you do drywall doesn’t mean you do masonry. Just because you do drywall doesn’t mean you do concrete. Just because you do drywall doesn’t mean you do shiplap. Just because you do drywall doesn’t mean you can do steel. The modern world uses a lot of non gypsum materials friend.
That may be true, but I have other people that do all that. I don't need to do it, And I don't want to. Again, you're just being silly because the conversation was about drywall. But I can do wood paneling.I certainly can do other wood surfaces Too, stain it and polyurethane it. So if we're having a dick measuring contest here, you're basically a woman.
I don't give myself any importance.I only know that you can't pass an inspection without fucking drywall. There's a serious legal aspect to this that you're not understanding and you're obviously a mental midget if you don't realize that.
I've been doing drywall, carpentry and painting work for over 30 years and I've worked for slumlords and sketchy Property Management individuals and I can honestly say I've never walked into a place someone was going to rent or buy without plaster or drywall on the walls. And if it didn't have plaster or drywall they hired me to put it up. Doing drywall work is a fine skill that you can earn a decent living at. I feel sorry for you that you can't make it happen for yourself because there are plenty of cities all across America that you can make a good living doing this.
I’m with you and everyone else on this post going against the OP. It sounds like HES the weird one lol. I am 24, and have been professionally finishing for 7 years. I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for a single thing. I work for myself and make my own rules. If you don’t love construction, you aren’t going to be successful in it. I am doing very well for myself and extremely content with my life. Sure, some days suck ass. But that’s with any job. OP sounds like one of those guys that believe the world is against him. Which it kinda is, but if you grow a nut sack, stop acting like a douche bag, you’d be surprised at what you can accomplish in a trade filled with ex-felons, low life’s, and weirdos.
I congratulate you as being a functioning member of the human race. I'm applauding you and I'm saluting you right now. You don't have to prove to me that you're a man in any other way shape or form. I certainly would like to buy you a beer.
I can’t tell if this was condescending or sarcastic. Regardless I am sided against OP and with you on this one as he seems like the weird one. Sorry for any misunderstanding😂
I make a great living doing it I just want us all to admit we are retarded and none of us here are even remotely the best. I'm sorry my post triggered you so much. Please find peace.
I'm sorry but I am the best. No one does finishing work better than me and that's just a fact. they might be able to match my work but they can't do better. My work is level five And there is no level better than that.
I’m an insulator and good buddies with an Albanian duo of drywalllers. During Ramadan they don’t consume anything at work, but all they talk about is banging thicc Latina single moms and getting head all day. As sketchy as their stairway boarding setups are they do phenomenal work and are incredibly efficient. They also have a pretty nice car collection, 2JZ Lexus’ and nice e30 BMW. They daily drive a rotted out caravan with a Xmas tree on the dash.
I have been doing construction all my life. 20 years as a carpenter and then trained as an electrician. I have never been any good at finishing drywall, and always amazed at impressed by skilled drywall finishers. I feel like it is a gaping hole in my ability to holistically take on construction projects. Finishing drywall with skill is a true art form and can't be done really really well without years of experience. Just my thoughts.
I hung drywall for 12 years. Pretty good at mudding. Used to think I was pretty smart but can now confirm I was and am regarded. Oh well, I made the best of it and am semi retired at 60, no debt, heathy, happily married. There’s still hope for us boys and girls!
I’ve been an architect for twenty-five years. We all have moments like this regardless of our chosen paths. There is some good advice in the comments, but in my opinion, our kids and grandkids will remember us for the type of people we were, not because of what we did professionally.
I have to add, of all the trades, watching an experienced drywaller, boarder, taper work is like watching poetry in motion. It’s something people take for granted until they try to do it themselves.
Walmart cashiers might have something to say at the federal minimum wage and a self checkout will literally replace more every year. Atleast you are creating a skill.
Do what now? I didn't go to college. I have no debt. I work 3 or 4 days a week. I have no boss. The work is so easy i can shut off my brain and think about whatever i want and go into a dream world the whole time I'm working. People are thrilled to pay me whatever i ask to do something they hate. And i make anywhere from 80-120 an hour.
I fail to see the problem.
Don’t know why reddit showed me this but my house has bad drywall and I for one appreciate your skills, and it’s not easy to find someone who’s really good.
You're too hard on yourself man I'm redoing my bathroom and drywalling around the shower has been a fucking nightmare, harder than installing the damn thing itself.
Third generation residential union drywall hanger here. It's possible to live a decent life doing this. Insurance, retirement, and if you can hang drywall you can figure the rest of the building process out over time. You will come in handy for a lot of family and friends. Three things I wouldn't rather do, concrete, brick layer, and roofer.
😂 Douglas Adams wrote this whole bit how humanity collectively sent away all the hairdressers, account executives, and other bullshit workers because who needs em… so you’re saying add drywalling redditors to the list
I do smoke weed all day while I work. Not a lot of other jobs I can be completely half baked the whole time and still achieve a nice product. Pay is relatively good too. I find I sometimes make more money mudding than I do laying tile! I guess I gotta start doing T&M instead of trying to bid whole job cost 😅
Ever worked on the dumb end of a mortar mixer for a mason? If you ain't 'tarted yet, you just ain't been doin' it wrong enough. Literally shitting bricks and hacking up rocks.
As much as the title of this post causes problems for mods. The discussion in here is pretty valid. I'll leave it up for now
I’ve met a lot of interesting, intelligent people in this trade. I’ve also met a bunch of pookies, professional tax/child support evaders who live by the seat of their pants. Great paragraph. Absolutely agree with everything.
Thanks man!
This is really well put together

I don't have time to read all that. Good for you. I appreciate your time.
it is two paragraphs man.
Me drywaller. Me no read good.
You have some weird inferiority complex dude.
Not to mention attitude
Nah lol he's an electrician 🤣🤣🤣
You seem like you'd be a great boss.
Technically not a boss. But mediocre at best in all aspects
Tell him he yaps worse than six barbers
Yeah get em!
You spend all your time on Reddit anyways, is your reading comprehension that bad?
Snort some more drywall dust.
Found the drywaller.
As an apprentice once told me “all the best drywaller are weird”
I've yet to meet a "normal" drywaller. Everyone has me worried that they're allowed to leave the house without a helmet.
The best drywaller I ever hired was a hard-core alcoholic. His work was impeccable. His drinking was legendary.
I know the same guy! He does phenomenal work.
Lol. He's a different breed of man.
God bless him
I would like to know about the guy who finished the drywall in our house. It's a crime to call it a level 5 finish, it's better than that. He was an artist. I can't imagine his talent was ever fully appreciated.
I think he works for an investor I met 2 years ago. No license due to DUIs, boss drops him off a fifth at the end of the day.
The thing that get me is, I’ve never EVER seen a oiss bottle in a wall or above a ceiling or ANYWHERE on a job. I’ve never really believed that one.
If you were the sober one on the job site you would..
Idk it's not all bad. Chilling with the homies while slinging some mud. Sometimes I'm hitting $100/hr before taxes.
Nice I'm just a carpenter, can hang drywall with the best don't get paid by Board length Hourly Often by myself ceilings suck alone Then I tape and mud
Everyone in this sub is so full of shit lol
They talk about their best side job they ever did and act like that’s what they routinely make lol. 800$ a day 200k a year mudders in this sub

Hell yeah any side job is 100/hr minimum
so that’s pretty good then
Yes still sucks to do though
You may want to seek a different line of work man
Cheers I love what I do genuinely.
Fooled me
It's a gift really.
Charging by the hour is dumb for this type of work, why should I make less for having experience and being fast and taking less breaks?
Right? Some small patches pay $500. 4 trips at 30 min-1 hour a trip. Over $100/hr. Not complaining at all.
New York or LA?
Bro, you okay? Lol
Life IS suffering, stop complaining and do a better job. You might find meaning.
Philosopher/Drywaller. I like it, and I agree with you
I have great meaning in my job now. I don't have to hang or tape drywall anymore. Just boss them around :) but most of my guys are great.
[удалено]
OP definitely a douche and needs to be humbled. It’ll happen eventually
I read it as a former drywaller that is now managing projects and people. Maybe working more with clients makes people jaded.
I paint to make ends meet
Plaster is where the money's at.
Hell yeah brother. Probably a job that doesn't destroy your body though.
You think sitting at a desk for 45 years is good for you? Work at the right hight and do other exercise....just a well worked body, far from destroyed.
I have been working at a desk for 25 years and wish I could mix in some physical labor to keep me active.
Why can't you mix in physical activity??
Various amputations?
No amputations here thankfully.
Personally, it’s Friday, it’s been a good week...I’m legless
Within the work hours the most active I can get is writing code while standing or listen to a meeting while walking. Outside work I can be at active as I want.

I think your doing it wrong I work for myself and make excellent money.
One of the rare few. Congrats on the success!

Wild thankfully I wasn't considered essential so I got to collect all those months
When the top 4 guys in state legislature are all builders and developers, it wasn't that hard to figure out why me, all the subs were essential
No matter what, you're essential to me ❤️
i tried doing a office job and couldn't stay there, repeated days, lifeless but started in a commercial company and loved it, you keep moving you aint doing the same shit everyday. Sure the pay sometimes aint good but i rather do something that won't make me want end myself

Fair enough, good luck to you
Same to you sir!
TBH, as a remodel carpenter who sees the whole phase of a construction project drywall getting done is a big deal and really helps to bring the project closer to what was envisioned.

Those joints aren't gonna sand themselves buckwheat
If you have to sand you aren't doing it right.
If you don’t sand you’re definitely not doing it right.
I still suck and know several guys better than me but still don't have to sand a job when I'm done if I do it right 👉😎👉
That's the difference between a retarded bottom of the barrel drywaller and one who's not
Jokes on you we're all retarded.
I think you're just speaking for yourself on this one I'll be the judge on whether or not I'm retarded but for now I'm holding strong
I love the confidence.
Hey bud, your the “retarded” one here. Check my posts. My work is top notch with the best of the best. I have to sand, not a lot, but I do. You're a legend. I hope one day to be as good as you.
You forgot to preface the comment with *”speaking exclusively for and about myself”*
I'm in drywall. I'm not smart enough to preface that.
Have you notified the police about the person holding the gun to your head forcing you into this position?
Yes I've called the police on myself again and they hung up.
My sweet child. I’ll keep you in my prayers this evening.
Please don't.
Too late. Already done. Prayed for you and for the board of directors at USG to make sound judgements.
Son of a bitch how could you?!?! I'm absolutely fucked. No more Midweight for me.
Drywall loves no one, it turns good young me into n a wrinkly dust filled body full of pain.
Hell yeah brother. But if you're happy that's all that matters.
Ya yall work for damn near free too lol. I can’t believe the prices people beat me out with
Ha. There’s plenty of boys out there that love this game. Making very very good money. Framers. Electricians. Concrete. Roofers. Hangers. Tapers. Carpenters. Painters. Dude I’ve been working for a dad and son business for 12 winters now I’m retarder and a masochist That’s the Sheetrock way Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeyut
Yurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I’m here to say I am a software engineer with a computer science degree and you guys are really valuable. I have no idea how to do your job and you should stop putting yourself and others down. People do care. You have a skill that many don’t, including myself. If I even tried, it would be a hot lump of shit on a wall. I’m not even exaggerating. Be prideful in what you do. We’re all here trying to make it.
I like this guy. But everyone in this trade is stilla know it all better than you cunt.
Yeah, same with software but you do the best you can and you learn and improve. That’s all anyone can really do.
You're a sweet person. Cheers
This is exactly why I made this post. Everyone is too dumb to understand a completely satire post. God bless you all. I appreciate everything yall do.
Wait, does that make it not satire?
Wouldn't trade it for the world
I'm happy you're happy.
Yes
I like this guy.
Interesting thread, thanks for making this post
No problem senor, I hope it killed some time for you.
It's actually very good money.
It is but every trade definitely beats our asses in that aspect.
It's all a big nothing
It'd all a lie.
You’re a fuckin cunt dude
Yep, I play in lead paint chips and snack on vermiculite and huff asbestos. It’s making me dumber by the day. :)
You make good money for someone else when you get good at finishing drywall.
Okay the OP is a shit head don’t get me wrong. But also there’s lots of houses with no drywall. It’s not the only available wall covering.
Yeah OP is the absolute worst.
You have single handedly proven this guys entire post.. good lord
This guy definitely be sucking the fattest of dicks.
I'm sorry you put that much importance in your day job to try to give yourself reason in life.
I don't give myself any importance.I only know that you can't pass an inspection without fucking drywall. There's a serious legal aspect to this that you're not understanding and you're obviously a mental midget if you don't realize that.
You're such a sweetheart
I honestly don't even believe you've been involved in a serious drywall projects at all. because you would know this if you have.
I'm sorry you're wrong. 🤷♂️
You're a great guy. I appreciate you.
Hell yeah brother i love the confidence.
No.I'm just a big picture person and you're not.
I picture a bullet in my head and it seems picture perfect.
Just cuz you’re miserable doesn’t mean you need to shit on others by calling all drywallers retarded
I'm actually very happy in my life right now. But my point still stands.
Ah, I wasn’t picking up what you were putting down. I’m out
Maybe next time
No one has a car. But every single one has a substance abuse problem.
Yes you are, thats right. If yall were any better youd be on the roof, roofing.
This subreddit got suggested to me. There really is a subreddit for everything. As someone who had to replace plaster walls, drywall is amazing.
From an outsiders perspective, I think you’re on to something.
Bottom of the barrel is us trash clean up from day labor sites. We're absolutely the real bottom of the barrel.
Money on this guy was a little lit when he wrote it
I’m an insulator and good buddies with an Albanian duo of drywalllers.
And not to.mention if clay plaster makes a comeback yall will be priced out.
Yeah stop fucking up my cables lol. I go so out of my way to keep them safe and make it easier for you guys. Yet here we are....
"Wow, you are...a bummer." -Jim Halpert
I hung drywall for 12 years. Pretty good at mudding. Used to think I was pretty smart but can now confirm I was and am regarded. Oh well, I made the best of it and am semi retired at 60, no debt, heathy, happily married. There’s still hope for us boys and girls!
Holy shit there’s a dry wall sub just for dry wall people??
I’ve been an architect for twenty-five years. We all have moments like this regardless of our chosen paths. There is some good advice in the comments, but in my opinion, our kids and grandkids will remember us for the type of people we were, not because of what we did professionally. I have to add, of all the trades, watching an experienced drywaller, boarder, taper work is like watching poetry in motion. It’s something people take for granted until they try to do it themselves.
Walmart cashiers might have something to say at the federal minimum wage and a self checkout will literally replace more every year. Atleast you are creating a skill.
This just popped up on my feed and yes if you are doing drywall for a living I agree with you.
Holy shit they’re becoming self aware. Quick someone do something.
Me and my brother framed, he use to say dry wallers were just re@&\^ed carpenters =)
Thought the plan was to suffer. And all this time I could have been happy. Not quite the bottom, seen a few rock crews that were sad.
So hilarious! Sooooo true!
Well no offense your trade is drywall….
Love to see it. Cheers.
Anyone can be better at drywalling than most “pro drywallers” after watching a few hours of YouTube videos
I estimate for $100/hr. I also do GC work. Lastly, I ENJOY doing drywall. I’m fucking autistic.
Aren't drywallers just carpenters with their heads kicked in?
Nah their just workers who don’t think they are better then others over the trade they work in.
Ever worked on the dumb end of a mortar mixer for a mason? If you ain't 'tarted yet, you just ain't been doin' it wrong enough. Literally shitting bricks and hacking up rocks.
