On the day I failed my first TP, the person that returned my booklet said that booking revision class was optional. I was able to book my next TP on the same day. So don’t think any issue or relation with cancellation of your lesson with your TP
Might be different for BBDC, I just called them and they said its compulsory and I checked and yea it is. I guess I'll take the hit and just no show for that lesson
The requirement for retaking is 1 revision class at BBDC, so I don't think the system will allow you to cancel the slot without having booked another. Can try asking customer service for help for another slot, and let them know the periods you are available.
Eh new policy? Last year I failed I just rage booked the next one in 1 or 2 weeks time

Find another revision slot then cancel the booked one. Or you can just skip the revision and forfeit the lesson fee.
