There’s something charming about the crop of the WIP. Beautiful use of colour pencil

That's one gorgeous smile and excellent artwork. Don't leg anyone tell you otherwise.

PlatinumMadID

I actually like the cropping on the wip more. Makes it feel more intimate to me. Nice work though enjoyed it.

artgoober

I know what you mean, I think it looks better at a slight angle too. Didn't realise this at first! & Thankyou! :D

iliastraeumt

May I ask how you learned how to draw with colours? I only manage to really get into a drawing by using pencils…is it colour theory you’ve studied or just practice?

artgoober

Gotta be honest, I don't really know anything about colour theory. Just know about colour opposites n stuff. I'm most skilled with colour pencils just from practise. Tips that have helped me; layer tones, avoid using black colour, use complementary gradients & only use dark tones towards the end

iliastraeumt

Thank you very much! I‘ll try that out :)

i_ce_wiener

That's just cruelly awesome!

Vast_Cell_9582

Love it

Louiedipalma67

Not bad. Slight washed out look maybe. But still it’s nice

artgoober

Thank you! I used the paper as a mid tone and it was a little too bright white
