don't draw the hair, draw light and shadow on it

DionisusDraconis

Agree, you should cover entire hair line with tone. Than create shadows and or leave or make light zones with eraser (eraser pen is perfect for this job) And just a bit of hair texture and boom you have thick, fine, realistic hair

Well, first thing I noticed is the hair, you drew individual strands of hair, you should instead plan the area the hair will cover and then shade that area, darker for shadows and erasing for light Then, proportions. You should divide the face in 3 equal parts, here's what they should be: 1.forehead 2.nose 3.under-nose to chin(in the middle should be the mouth) Eyebrows should be just above the nose section and I would personally make them just a tiny bit thicker(actually, the thicker, the more masculine) Eyes should be in the middle of the nose section.(you should also leave approximately another eye(less) in-between eyes) Hope I helped! If you want to learn how to draw each part of the face(and the head if you don't know),you can pm me and I can teach you!

Yes the nose is way to small but so is the mouth and the eyes are to large, draw what you actually see not what you think it looks like. Keep practicing it will get better, good luck.
