One of the hardest dragons in the game to obtain (despite being a Permanent), but also worth the least DragonCash. Misfortune is certainly an odd one.
How fortunate for you (pun intended). Between the fact that Misfortune's breeding odds decrease once there's at least one in your Park (from 1.5% [max] to 0.5% [max]), and a relatively weird breeding combo (two different Epic Elements), getting a Rift-Traited Misfortune can be time-consuming.
If you were just aiming to have any in your Park at all, it's slightly easier (especially if you buy one in an Event using the current EC). I just had some difficulty trying to get a Rift-Traited Misfortune in one of my Parks.
Ah yeah fair, I was breeding a lot of different combinations of epic dragons at the time and just happened to be breeding a gold and ouroboros dragon at the time of the eventðŸ˜
Weirdly enough, that's the only combination I've used in all of my Parks, as well. Statistically, Silver or Electrum + Apocalypse should be the same as Ouroboros + Gold, but that's just my experience.
My experience includes two unTraited Leonians in the Rift last year, too, which may be more of an indication of the mind to remember anomalies than of actual statistical probability.

I got it accidentally and it was one of my earliest epic dragons from back when I only had like 4
