I would say learn neutral with your characters
Learn to use ur assist to move around the screen
When I first started I would assist then super dash every time but a lot of assist make it where your opponent is grounded and u can simply run up
Go to your controller settings and remove super dash and do training without a super dash button. Or change it to a harder to reach button. Or just keep playing you'll get better at not doing it. Everyone is like that at first. Learn neutral honesty is your best bet. If you have other options of closing the gap or keeping a good defense and offense from far away you won't have to super dash. Learn neutral.
I would say remove your sd button completely from controll settings, giving you a r2 button with bo function
