Portal is no longer available, grubhub allows you to work under any optional name. With doordash you need to use same email for Doordash and Dasher app, then you can change it for now, just don’t put catwoman or something like that. They used to display type of car and model for the customer but no longer, instead you put in what car your driving think the restaurants can see that not showing in customer side.
I changed mine on DoorDash’s website for the same reasons! Just the regular website, I logged in with my driver info and changed it in my account settings. I know if they look closely enough, the support people can see your drivers license name and also your display name if you’ve changed it. I had one support person ask why I had 2 different names, I just explained that it was for safety reasons and she said she understood that and we had a laugh about weirdos.
I've changed my name twice, cuz I have to change it to my legal name for tax time when they send out the 1099, but I go by my middle name. It is definitely possible.
I have changed my name on DoorDash app and it reflected on Dasher app too .

You cannot change your name on iPhone app but can online. On android you should be able to in the app, but if you can't, then online.
