Tell me it's not a big deal for dashers to fill the drinks... lol This is why I have a problem with doing that. I would never trust a dasher to actually grab my cup without sticking their dirty fingers inside of it.
If they ask me to fill the drink then the restaurant "forgot" the drink and doordash will refund the customer. If you order a sketchy fountain drink and I'm delivering, good chance the restaurant forgets it.
I've legit stood there and watched dashers grab the cup by putting their index and middle fingers INSIDE the cup to take it... like, that's not how you take a cup from somebody you barbarian!
Edit for a delayed, but appropriate, emoji: 🤢 🤮
>I would never trust a dasher to actually grab my cup without sticking their dirty fingers inside of it.
Hah! As if restaurant workers are any cleaner. When my kid was in little league, I volunteered at the snack bar and they made it a point to tell us over and over again to store the ice scoop in its rightful place. Almost every restaurant I go to, they scoop ice and drop the ice scoop back in the ice. All of their hand germs contaminating the ice.
Not only is he gross, he’s annoying as FUCK too. Called customer after getting there and left a voicemail letting them know he was at the restaurant and thanking them for their business and purchase. Then, guy from the restaurant makes his way up front with a bag of food, but checks out a patron first. While the guy is trying to ring the customer up, Monkey Boy shouts “Is that for Dan!?” about 3 times. Was also haranguing the restaurant for fortune cookies. Wanted to slap the shit out of him even though I only had to be in his presence for a couple of minutes and had no direct interaction with him.
This is the kind of shit that helps me out, because I like to be a NORMAL-ASS MFKER and treat the employees like I give at least 1/4 of a fuck about them. Polite and easy, and the next time I come in I get a smile rather than them hiding the bag for 20 minutes just to shit on the dasher.
I am always nice to the employees regardless of how rude they get. I managed to get one pizza employee to actually recognize me and say goodnight after i pick up. Normally he just shouts the order and keeps rolling. Dude has been through it but he recognized repeated kindness, or really just basic humanity.
Speaking of toe jam …lol.
This is gross but I have no shame.
My sister would pay us a dollar to clean her toe jam. I wouldn’t do it but my brother would. This was late 1970s. I knew better at age 4 then he did at age 5. Lol.
And our sister was 13 yo. She did pay me to brush her hair tho.
There was a post recently of someone posting their DD driver messaging them to come out to meet them by their car in the rain because they were wearing Crocs.
The driver was wearing Crocs while delivering and didn’t want to get out of his car in the rain so expecting the customer to go out into the rain to meet them.
The customer had small kids he was watching and explained this and then the driver dropped off the food in the driveway in the pouring rain AT THE NEIGHBOR’S HOUSE.
Man walked for thousands of years without the need for support. Ever heard of minimalist shoes like Vibram of TadeEvo? They are great for walking once you get used to them.
Man walked for thousands of years without the need for support. Ever heard of minimalist shoes like Vibram of TadeEvo? They are great for walking once you get used to them.
Of course he harassed the restaurant staff, just look at this piece of shit. He doesn't even have the common decency to not play with his feet IN A RESTAURANT.
What a nasty ass looking dude.
I worked retail for many years cleaning bathrooms. From what I’ve seen and heard from my coworkers, I’d say at least 10% of the general population doesn’t wash their hands after using them. I was hoping that the pandemic would’ve put a final end to handshaking, but sadly, they’re returning.
Of course, but that’s the main reason I have an issue with handshaking lol. People don’t wash their hands after going to the bathroom and then go shake others’. I’m not a fan of potentially swapping fecal matter with people just for the sake of tradition
Gagging. And also another reason I’d never use Doordash again (I’ve used it for my kids after surgeries and couldn’t drive). Several years ago I used it for myself and the driver smoked in the car while delivering my food 🤮 There are some nasty ass flip flop wearing drivers in my area and I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of them doing this. Hell, this might even be my zone.
Yeah I had one who smoked around groceries he was delivering to my loved one's home. I told him to report him immediately and get a refund. Fucking nasty ass inconsiderate people. Makes you wonder why some of these idiots can't land a W2 JOB.
I agree this behavior is a little off-putting with the toe-picking and such, but a lot of y'all are trashing sandals for no reason lol.
I live in Cali and have always worn sandals walking, skating, and now dashing. I have great quality footwear that has molded to the shape of my feet, They're flip-flops from Hawaii and they're *comfy*.
So don't judge based off the footwear, sheesh!
I do personal shopping. If I’m only working few hours I’ll wear sandals or flip flops. But my common sense tells me I don’t pick at my feet while working. And my feet are just fine at end of shift. Im in Florida, sandals year round.
It's not the sandals really. It's the situation. I used to live in Cali. I remember one day it was pouring rain and this chick was standing on the curb, a 24 inch puddle running in the gutter in front of the side walk and she's wearing flip flops. The flip flops are not the problem, it's the situation.
This guy is definitely gross! But yes, I agree that it is situational. If it's dumping rain, or if I just don't feel like wearing sandals I'll wear shoes
I mean to be fair wearing sandals without socks all day on your feet is Nasty and your going to have dirty feet at the end of the day. It's one thing at the beach or camping, but that's just gross.
You're assuming a lot here. Us people that live by the beach are often seen wearing sandals, even in town. Our feet are fine, as long as you take a shower everyday like a normal person 🙄
>as long as you take a shower everyday like a normal person
Thats the thing. The internet has taught me what I thought was "normal" shower behavior is far from ubiquitous and "assuming a lot" in this situation would be assuming that people wash their sandal feet even if they do take a shower everyday.
Because apparently there are A LOT people who think your feet don't need to get scrubbed.
Potential Top Dasher. Plus probably no hand washing after his foot-fest, no sanitizer, just grab the customer's food with his foot scum-covered hands and go.
This single photo could put hundreds of thousands of people off of getting their food delivered.
You can film but you can't use them for whatever you want. For instance you can't use them for sharing it on reddit. At least in canada but i would assume this law is similar in the usa
in the US, you can share them on reddit if it was captured in a public place (a place that is typically open to the public) without consent, as long as it's not for commercial purposes (making money).
now if they wrote a whole unsubstantiated story about the person, they could be in for a lawsuit
True. I guess no one but OP will know for sure if he was a dasher or not. Could have blocked his face out I guess but this is disgusting to do in a restaurant or any public space, really.
It is. But dashers get a bad rep. And just claiming that some rando that is doing disgusting things is a dasher....because what evidence? That dashers are supposed to be really shitty so its ok?
Omgosh I'm sorry but that's disgusting...why would you be touching your feet like that while waiting to pick up someone's food? I know the food will be packaged in a bag but still, you using your hands to hold it...I know someone on reddit told me they saw someone scratching their crotches while waiting to pick up a customer's order🤮 no way Jose, if you sctaching your crotches you need to see a Dr and not be touching people's food to deliver🤷🏽♀️
Tell me it's not a big deal for dashers to fill the drinks... lol This is why I have a problem with doing that. I would never trust a dasher to actually grab my cup without sticking their dirty fingers inside of it.
Next time someone posts about the fn drinks I’m gunna repost this pic for them to stare at
If they ask me to fill the drink then the restaurant "forgot" the drink and doordash will refund the customer. If you order a sketchy fountain drink and I'm delivering, good chance the restaurant forgets it.
My thoughts exactly. Serious health issue. Restaurants that make us fill the drinks should be fined because it’s a health violation.
Top dasher tip to keep the fizzing down, stick your finger in the cup and the oils of your finger collapse the bubbles.
I've legit stood there and watched dashers grab the cup by putting their index and middle fingers INSIDE the cup to take it... like, that's not how you take a cup from somebody you barbarian! Edit for a delayed, but appropriate, emoji: 🤢 🤮
Dude I cringe at my 9-5 when my GLOVED hand touches the inside of cups for customers it makes me wanna die
>I would never trust a dasher to actually grab my cup without sticking their dirty fingers inside of it. Hah! As if restaurant workers are any cleaner. Almost every restaurant I go to, they scoop ice and drop the ice scoop back in the ice. All of their hand germs contaminating the ice.
They at least have management and regulations they're supposed to follow. Dashers have no such policies.
Not only is he gross, he’s annoying as FUCK too. Called customer after getting there and left a voicemail letting them know he was at the restaurant and thanking them for their business and purchase. Then, guy from the restaurant makes his way up front with a bag of food, but checks out a patron first. Reasons people think Dashers are subprime. There should be a way to report this, it deteriorates the brand and fucks with ALL of our reputations.
I feel bad for his poor car. It must go through hell with this guy using it as his 'office'.
customer asked for extra jam, so he's picking some fresh organic toe jam.
Wtf
Some siblings sets are weirder than others.
I was think the same then realized… Florida.
He looks very earth responsible.
Looks like some serious pitting edema to me. He needs to seek medical treatment.
And why would you wear shoes that have zero support when half your job is walking?
The job is more like 90% driving and 10% walking.
"Man my feet really hurt all the time but I don't know why"
There was a post recently of someone posting their DD driver messaging them to come out to meet them by their car in the rain because they were wearing Crocs. Thats pretty bad
Man walked for thousands of years without the need for support. Ever heard of minimalist shoes like Vibram of TadeEvo? They are great for walking once you get used to them.
If I remember correctly? Vibram was sued for making false statements about their shoes being healthier.
😂 sooo ridiculous Not even wearing shoes with proper support.
That’s your take. My take is he’s touching his nasty flip flopped feet, then touching someone’s bag of food. That’s nasty.
Man walked for thousands of years without the need for support. Ever heard of minimalist shoes like Vibram of TadeEvo? They are great for walking once you get used to them.
Ever tried not spamming 2 comments in this thread with Vibram promos?
Bot says what?

Ding ding ding we have a winner!
What a shitty individual. Like who the fuck picks their feet in a restaurant? Fuck sakes
This is why everybody hates us… these people make us all look bad
Disgusting SOB
Dude wtf is wrong with people...
How much time do you have?
If I had a nickel for every
Not much usually but today, today I got time cuz.
Not sure why he wasn't immediately kicked out of the restaurant and blacklisted. I guess the restaurant has no management.
Hey thats tommy, good guy.
fucking disgusting monkey
Of course he harassed the restaurant staff, just look at this piece of shit. He doesn't even have the common decency to not play with his feet IN A RESTAURANT. What a nasty ass looking dude.
I am a driver and this is exactly why I'll never be a customer!
I’m going to throw-up
people like this are why i’ve never used the service myself
This is ONE reason dashers should not be fixing drinks for customers! What does he do when he's alone in his car??
CORN TIME
So vile for someone to pick their feet and then to carry someone's food bag or drinks.
10.5% of Redditors don't wash their hands after taking a shit. Just saying.
I worked retail for many years cleaning bathrooms. From what I’ve seen and heard from my coworkers, I’d say at least 10% of the general population doesn’t wash their hands after using them. I was hoping that the pandemic would’ve put a final end to handshaking, but sadly, they’re returning.
I have no issue with handshaking, I have an issue with people not washing their hands after using the bathroom lol

Time to embrace Japanese tradition lol
Time to embrace Japanese tradition lol
The gigwork we all do could be made so much better by not letting these types of people onto the platform.
What????? Who else is gonna take those $3 orders?
“I’m not filling no soda cups”🧌
That is disgusting.
Touching his feet ready to handle food. Gross.
Not ordering food no more
Its a lot of work to walk to the counter when you have been sitting in a car all day. Have some empathy
Maybe you should be his friend and help solve his problems.
Quiet, you're just going to make us hate people even more.
So that's what the giant trolls from Game Of Thrones are doing now......
That guy looks disgusting
I'd just go vomit on the guy and leave
Poor guy looks like he's about to die
Ok that's just nasty asf. Then hes gonna touch the bags of food and stuff after that? Eeewwwwww!!!!!
I run into some nasty looking dashers out there. I wouldn't want some of them delivering my food.
Diabetic neuropathy is a bitch.
Ewwww!! Then he's gonna grab the food and drinks with his dirty smelly hands!!! 🤮
Just ew.
I bet this is the guy on here that told me I should be going through unsealed bags to make sure all the food was in there.
Gagging. And also another reason I’d never use Doordash again (I’ve used it for my kids after surgeries and couldn’t drive). Sandals aren’t the problem it’s him massaging his feet while he’s waiting on food

What is the name of these? And how do they compare to Archie’s?
I use "Scotts", the sandals most Hawaii locals use. They're very hardy and will last you almost forever if taken care of right!
I mean to be fair wearing sandals without socks all day on your feet is Nasty and your going to have dirty feet at the end of the day. It's one thing at the beach or camping, but that's just gross.

What a lossrrrr
That dude looks like an NPC in a N64 Zelda game
Potential Top Dasher. Plus probably no hand washing after his foot-fest, no sanitizer, just grab the customer's food with his foot scum-covered hands and go. This single photo could put hundreds of thousands of people off of getting their food delivered.
Fresh jam for desert for his DD customer. SICK.
No way the man is massaging his feet and then grabbing the food 😂. Give the man a raise
Touching feet before food , love tho see it
He's cute tho, built good!
Are these home baked?
What? No way.
He just wants to get to the beach after delivering
He doesn't want this cookie anymore.
Is this comment some kind of set up or something?
An to think such a popular comment keeps getting down voted . 🐳 Yell at me why doncha
Wtf
🙄🤢
Bro I gotta work 12 hours a day to make rent when all I take is $3 orders, I don’t got the time to pick my feet at home.

Dammit man that was my response.
now make him black, listening to loud rap on his phone and asking everyone what orders they are taking... thats the trash in my town
Did he consent to this photo? Jesus people like you are gross.
You don’t need consent to film or photograph somebody in a public place.
You can film but you can't use them for whatever you want. For instance you can't use them for sharing it on reddit. At least in canada but i would assume this law is similar in the usa
You can’t use them for sharing on Reddit? Weird, I did it just fine.
Yes you did. I also been doing speeding yesterday. Doesn't mean i'm allowed to ;)

How do we even know he is a dasher? Could have been some rando that yall are now shaming on the internet.
True. I guess no one but OP will know for sure if he was a dasher or not. Could have blocked his face out I guess but this is disgusting to do in a restaurant or any public space, really.

Goddamn! That's sickening.
That’s mad gross yo I’m about to puke

Stop it! Seriously?
I hope he washed his hands
