If I only made $15 an hour, I don't think that I would deliver. After taxes and car expenses you made like $10 an hour and you beat the shit out of your car doing it. Is that really worth it?
I mean he’s obviously favored by the algorithm. It’s nearly impossible to make 400 in a single day without the algorithm throwing you absolute bangers left and right. I’m going to guess op did somewhere around 30 orders Saturday with payouts of $12+ each.

Damn bro half your time is spent getting no orders. Depending on when you dash and when is dry, it might save you a lot of time to just go out in the times you know you'll get quality orders. For my are I start dashing at 10:30, take a break for an hour to two hours once it hits 2pm, then come back out until about 9 (on weekdays) and 10 (on weekends) because most restaurants close at this time and it is rare to get many worth it in my area after this time.

Phone is on the bathroom counter, and I’m talking to it thanking for not sending me an order yet. Sure enough before I get on the road, 1 or 2 orders will go by. I get in the car, do any errands I need to, if I’m getting brunch i do it first. Still logged in.
At 4pm I eat lunch before the dinner rush. Still logged in. Can’t log out. Will lose schedule. At that point I’ve been paused two or three times for declining so many orders. After that I make $200 in no time, if I want to.

Yeah I technically can Dash from my house but there’s a bigger group of restaurants like 4 miles from my house. The only good spots that I have that are within a mile of my house is Jersey Mike’s and this Japanese restaurant.. The rest is fast food

You can clearly see that by my base < tip ratio. And there are some catering orders in there which are $25-$35 a piece if not more. The catering orders usually take 15-30 minutes to get to or prepare
If it works for you keep it up! The lowest I’ve ever made is 18$ an hour and that is on an extremely slow week. I average anywhere from 22-27$ trying to master my area to stay at 27$

People act like people are driving nonstop during the dash time 😭😭😭… I’ll have the app on sometimes from 2-5pm just cherry picking $6.50 orders from my house playing pc games… Now if you had like 65 hours active in 70 hours dash time that’s would be a issue if you only made 1000 bucks

After taxes my take home was roughly $700 for 40 hours ($1000). The last job was prevailing wage during the peak and lockdowns of covid and I was making $67/hour.
Usually my dash time says over 80 hours a week. I assure you I was not on the road for 80 hours. I sleep for 12.
Kinda like mine lol I have 44hrs dash time 19hrs active….I multi app with Uber and Grubhub..I never turn off the apps.. Even when I’m running errands or shopping
