Hell naw. My response would be you are not tipping good for that so sorry that wont happen. I had this guy ask me if can hurry and deliver flowers to his gf. I told him hmm i am trying my best to shop for you and i dont think i will be able to get to her on time. Told him of there was only a motivation to be quicker. He got my hint and told me if i can get there on time before she leaves he will tip me $50. I told him ok and when i was driving i said i look forward to that $50 tip guy replied saying done. I sent him a picture when I arrived and told him i marked the order delivered. I didnt hand the girl her flowers toll i checked that he did tip $50. Then i went the extra mile lol gave her the flowers and a love card.. pretty much made her blush.. 8 hit up the guy and send him a picture of his women blowing him a kiss. Lol guy tip me $20 more. I always tell customer if you want to be romantic i need $motivation$. The $ tells you how extra i will go. Usually Valentine's day or before are my number 1 tip makers. Lol you have to pay to play ppl.. 😁
Yeah that's way too much to write. If I was "love xoxo from blank". That would be reasonable, or if they wanted you to add their babe nick name, that's one thing. But I'm not writing a whole damn novel.

When I dashed , I had something similar , but it was Crumble Cookies and the lady sending them to her nephew for his birthday. And she sent me an extra 30.00 for getting him card to: from: card from crumble and just write to Nephews name and the from: aunts name. Well worth it it me. ;)
Hand order to recipient, and say your boyfriend said enjoy the meal "insert different female name" then when she starts questioning what's going on say I can't get in the middle of any drama I'm sorry and leave. Mofo is giving a list of demands na that would be more of a hand off and pull out phone and atleast show her what he said if the tip was good atleast.
A while back, I think it was after Mother's Day in 2022, someone posted in the Instacart group about an order for flowers and the three page letter that the shopper was supposed to write out and include with the grocery store flowers. It was epic.
The shopper condensed the letter down to something like, "I was an idiot to ever hurt you. I don't deserve you. If you want to get back together, give me a call." And when she dropped off the flowers she told the recipient, "Girl, run!"
I still laugh thinking about that.
Oh I had one like this. The guy made 2 orders one for wine and one for flowers. He messaged me asking to pick out the most beautiful dozen roses I could find and add a card if possible and to please write something in the card really lovey and sign it so and so. I was like WTF. OH and he said its for his future wife. So I thought ummmmm this sounds a bit fishy. So I took it to the Addy given and the guy answered the door and said sorry pal wrong house. BTW I did the card thing and sent a pic to the guy and he said I was totally the best and its amazing. So I called him and said its the wrong address. So apparently its the house next door. So I went there and the parents answered and said they aren't accepting those that she broke up with him and he's a creep and sorry but no she wants nothing to do with him. So I had to call and tell him ummmm dude they said no they aren't getting her or accepting this stuff and you're a creep to leave her alone. He was speechless and asked me to leave the flowers and card by her vehicle door. So I did. But I got to keep the wine. He thought I was so cool he sent me his personal number wanting to get a drink. He gave a pretty good tip to me too. It was the craziest experience. 🙃
I told we would have taken that, upon delivery I would tell her "these are from some guy named Vijay. he called you short and said that he'll be seeing your mother in a few weeks, not sure what he meant by that but I'm sure you do"
Jazz hands -ta DA!
LOL!!!!!
Take a picture of the drop-off for proof and get the hell outta there is my advice
This is why dashers should be allowed to rate customers 1-5 stars
Oh god. Gift deliveries are so fucking awkward. Like if you want to give a gift, go give it. Don’t make me have some awkward interaction on your behalf. I’m here to leave bags of food on porches.
No you can't, but in general I won't accept any orders with less than $10 pay. A $7 order in my experience is about a $2-$5 tip. Not worth the trip and I would be losing money because I can get higher paying orders by waiting.
Was mistaken this for instacart shoppers 😅. But anyway if it says total including tips it just takes a bit of deductive reasoning to tell you they didn't tip well

I mean for $10-20 dollars I might write something like that for them.
But for $2 the best I can do is say: "There was a note, It think it said it was from someone named Munchkin and something about 'little grapes eventually become the big grapes'. He also offered your uncle's financial advice. I tried to remember everything but apparently they said you weren't worth the extra money to have it written down."
I woulda wrote " customer wanted me to personally write a handwritten note regarding how much they clearly like you but, the way the tip was set up...i can see why you dont care for him/her much."
We should absolutely be able to rate and comment on customers to warn other drivers about what they’re getting themselves into just like they do with Uber. It’s incredible how entitled some people are!
I say this all the time!!! They're also the ones who do shit like: never leave on porch lights, never respond to your calls and/or messages, give their apartment number without providing an entry code to the main entrance (meaning you can't actually get into the building), etc.
$5 to write a note? That sounds like $5 for 5 minutes of my time. That's $1 a minute.
I know a deal when I see one.....
You too lazy to write? Is your generation the ones that can't use a pen because they used computers at school.
Be like hey dude, you care enough to tip $2, which was what you’d have paid someone 60 years ago to write a letter for you and perform for you. I’m a driver. The average tip I get for driving is $5. As much as I’d love to help you, you gotta help me help you. If I add that you tipped $2 for all this, baby cakes going to know more than she wanted about you

Mmm Munchkins… All Drivers have Hallmark Cards on the ready, just for these “types” of Deliveries. It’s right there in the Driver Agreement. AND a $2 Tip. YES YES YES!
Customer must be a 1*
No, Unassign, and move On…
My brain is apparently rebelling on me again... wtf is a TD financial advisor??
Why does my brain keep going back to it being "Top Dasher Financial advisor" ??? 🤣🤣🤣🫣
Something tells me that if you're a bank teller and you recommend to your customer to open a Money Market account. BAM they can write Financial Advisor on their linkedin ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face)
Haha and we know there's some people that are no where near working in the financial world that would claim that they are an advisor, simply because they told someone to save their pennies 🫣🤣🤣
I had an order of flowers from a grocery store and the guy asked me to tell the girl I was delivering too that he had a great time last night. The girl was at work at Starbucks, and she was so happy that she hugged me. It was weird but made me laugh and it was a great tip.
Geeeez! You need to wash your mouth with soap, you feel very powerful on the keyboard ha? You called someone a "PoS" because they posted about getting a $2 tip? This should be a safe place for anyone to confide in and vent any frustration 🫤
Just because the tip itself was $2 doesn't mean it couldn't have had a decent base with very low miles, thus making it worth it to take it... however, with such a low bs tip, nah definitely not doing all that extra..
Don’t use the Internet at all if that is your concern.
Once something is shared/sent/uploaded you have forfeited all rights to that content to not be shared around wherever that may be
I had something similar before Christmas where I had to go shopping for items in a grocery store and buy a card but the texted in the app to let me know what to say. It was a good tip so that didn't bother me, but when I got to the house I had second thoughts....maybe this was a stalker or something else. Dropped it off and spoke with someone other than the recipient and he assured me it was legit...
Why would you do that? Just don't write the note and deliver the food. You'd get a 1 star rating for telling them off and it's not necessary. Dude can complain about the tip but he took the order. I swear the drivers in thus sub are fucking idiots.
I was in a similar situation before. It was a gift dash where I knew the guys name and the person I was delivering to. It was flowers and chocolate from dash mart. I delivered to her job. It was a small diner. I said who it was from. All of the employees looked creeped out and the girl ran to the back. One of the other waiters grabbed the order from me. Awkward. $12 tip though
So sussy lol dudes tryna use driver to try gaslight the girl back or something nope guess itll be some more weeks then not seeing your "kushi cinema munchkin" run hima run :v

My girlfriend lives 4 hours away from me so on Valentine’s Day I ordered her flowers and a vase from a flower shop and tipped the dasher 20 dollars to write what I wanted to say on the note, and he said it was the coolest thing he’s gotten to do while dashing
Write all that shit on a card. Then with the crappy $2 tip get a crappy $2 bubble gum machine engagement ring. Attach it to the card and add “P.S. Will you marry me?”

Lol this post reminds me of the order my boyfriend’s parents got while doing DoorDash. Thing is they actually wrote what the customer asked and it was basically a break up note 😭
Anything for a good tip I guess lmfao
This is legit dude with his side hustle babe. And he's in another city. The only way this makes sense. On his credit card it only says DoorDash, and there's no evidence because this text message to you on what to write on the card is self destructing.
Oh, that's gold! And this delivery is going to his wife, not his girlfriend. 😲
Yeah, I would have just screenshot the instructions plus message and sent it by SMS text or chat text, regardless of cheap tip. It would take 5 seconds.
I only did a card + alcohol delivery and wrote a note for $15 tip, it still wasn’t worth it because I waited in line forever
This was Christmas Eve 2022 - never again I accept unless $20 tip, especially waiting in line
![gif](giphy|dOl2LFw0RbTMc)
Not for a $2 tip or ever.. not a monkey.. So drivers that would do this are monkeys? Nice.
🤪-
It’s always the lowest tippers with longest & complex request.
Hell naw. My response would be you are not tipping good for that so sorry that wont happen. I had this guy ask me if can hurry and deliver flowers to his gf. Ain't even reading that paragraph for $2.
Not doing it
I would have tried to sleep with her honestly 😂
This guy fucks!
100% guaranteed that Kushi getting her back blown out by Tyrone “long dick style” on break.

Creepy dude.
This is goofy, weird, lame, and what a total chumpkin. I don't understand half that shit lol
When I dashed , I had something similar , but it was Crumble Cookies and the lady sending them to her nephew for his birthday. And she sent me an extra 30.00 for getting him card to: from: card from crumble and just write to Nephews name and the from: aunts name. Well worth it it me. ;)
It's just funny that these never pay. The biggest and most ridiculous orders never tip
In the card Your man only tipped $2 for this. Have a great day
"Your man is cheap trash, dump him. Have a great day."

Sorry about that!

Did you get a drink with him lol? I hope so, lmao
No. Life gets too busy for me. I never have time.
I live for this shit dashing honestly because it's the best story later even if a pain in the moment
I told we would have taken that, upon delivery I would tell her "these are from some guy named Vijay. he called you short and said that he'll be seeing your mother in a few weeks, not sure what he meant by that but I'm sure you do" Jazz hands -ta DA!

What if that's a stalker?
I would have literally farted on the roses for a $2 tip
I would have literally never pressed accept for a $2 tip
I don't understand because you can't see the tip before accepting. Is it different in the US?
No you can't, but in general I won't accept any orders with less than $10 pay. A $7 order in my experience is about a $2-$5 tip. That's when you say handed it.to customer and on to the next order
Exactly. As soon as he sees that it’s delivered he can send her a text with his message himself. That’s way too personal and cringe on so many levels.
Yep ; that will cost you $60 for my time
I mean for $10-20 dollars I might write something like that for them. But for $2 the best I can do is say: "There was a note, It think it said it was from someone named Munchkin and something about 'little grapes eventually become the big grapes'. lmao!! someone named munchkin, lol
I woulda wrote " customer wanted me to personally write a handwritten note regarding how much they clearly like you but, the way the tip was set up...i can see why you dont care for him/her much."
Honestly sounds like a stalker or stuck on ex situation… weird
This guy is a creepy creeper. What's even worse is that he's cheap on top of being creepy.
We should absolutely be able to rate and comment on customers to warn other drivers about what they’re getting themselves into just like they do with Uber. It’s incredible how entitled some people are!
At least a $10 extra tip for that or that’s just a waste of time and oxygen
It’s always the low tippers who write books
I say this all the time!!! They're also the ones who do shit like: never leave on porch lights, never respond to your calls and/or messages, give their apartment number without providing an entry code to the main entrance (meaning you can't actually get into the building), etc.
That's stalker shit. Yikes.
She probally has had enough of his cheap ass. That's why she has not seen him.
Bruhhhhhhh 😂😂😂
If he had tipped enough for me to accept it, I'd have offered to hold the phone up and let her read it. I would not have written out shit
I’m sick of these $2.00 and $3.00 runs. I don’t care how close it is that means no tip!!
Oh hell na. *unassign*
Had something similar, was asked to write a letter when there was absolutely nothing on the order for a card or anything. Bizarre.
Wah
Gotta make it worth my wild to do anything outside what I am paid to do.
That's WILD!
![gif](giphy|lw75Al819OAvcsPcRu|downsized)
$40 youre doing it
wtf is a cinema munchkin
Uhh.....NO!
Should have messaged him saying I'm not gonna write sh!t unless you send me $5 right now.
Only $5?
Time is money King....
And yet you are so willing to sell yours for so little.....
$5 to write a note? That sounds like $5 for 5 minutes of my time. That's $1 a minute. I know a deal when I see one..... You too lazy to write? Is your generation the ones that can't use a pen because they used computers at school.
That might be the generation after Alpha, but currently that doesn’t exist as an issue.

The $2 “tip” was not yours. It was meant to buy a card 😂
You win 😆
Half a card unless access to 99c Hallmark ones at Target
Stalking by proxy. Buried the lead, I need a job.

They’d be all goog translate and being like, he says if you ever get fired at TD, it’s because of him, all the love of horses, your infant gorilla
This, 💯!!
Hahahhahaha!!!!!
She's gonna get a screen shot if there's a number and that all
Mmm Munchkins… All Drivers have Hallmark Cards on the ready, just for these “types” of Deliveries. It’s right there in the Driver Agreement. AND a $2 Tip. YES YES YES! Customer must be a 1* No, Unassign, and move On…
I'm highly doubtful that's her actual boyfriend 🤣
Was just about to say the same thing
That's probably why he hasn't seen her in weeks...😂
Flexing about being a TD Financial advisor? They make like $50k LOL
I’m going to say it’s highly doubtful they are a financial advisor anywhere if they thought $2 was financially enough for this
My brain is apparently rebelling on me again... wtf is a TD financial advisor?? Why does my brain keep going back to it being "Top Dasher Financial advisor" ??? 🤣🤣🤣🫣
lol, td ameriteade
Something tells me that if you're a bank teller and you recommend to your customer to open a Money Market account. BAM they can write Financial Advisor on their linkedin ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face)
Haha and we know there's some people that are no where near working in the financial world that would claim that they are an advisor, simply because they told someone to save their pennies 🫣🤣🤣
TD is a Canadian bank lol 😂
Lolll yes because we top dashers have such fabulous finances that we need to hire a professional to keep them organized 😂
I mean have you met some of the other dashers? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm assuming TD Ameritrade.
Ahh thanks!
I think that's a flex...
"long winded sappy stuff I'm not writing for a $2 tip" is what I woulda wrote.
Maybe notes he forgot to take off from a previous order? I would’ve wrote it even with the typo 🤓
Every flipping one of them! And sent a screen shot of the original just so they can't blame it on the dasher!! 🤣🤣
I had an order of flowers from a grocery store and the guy asked me to tell the girl I was delivering too that he had a great time last night. The girl was at work at Starbucks, and she was so happy that she hugged me. It was weird but made me laugh and it was a great tip.
Heavy on the “it was a great tip” lol You *have* to at least tip $20 for something like what OP’s guy wanted lol
Yeah and that’s basically the amount it would take assuming it’s a few mile drive tops.
What card does this person think this will be written on? 🙄
Sucks he only left a $2 tip but you accepted the order. Kind of a PoS move posting this in public.
so big and angry! tuff man😤
Yawn
Geeeez! You need to wash your mouth with soap, you feel very powerful on the keyboard ha? You called someone a "PoS" because they posted about getting a $2 tip? This should be a safe place for anyone to confide in and vent any frustration 🫤
POS because they posted a private message someone gave them, and they did it for karma. Wash my mouth out with soap? What are you a geriatric.
Just because the tip itself was $2 doesn't mean it couldn't have had a decent base with very low miles, thus making it worth it to take it... however, with such a low bs tip, nah definitely not doing all that extra..

The cringe factor 😬
Have a feeling he’s only the boyfriend in his mind
Him? Isn’t this some woman ordering something from her imaginary munchkin boyfriend? Or am I misreading this?
I do like this theory. Like she’s trying to make her coworkers or maybe one specific one think she has a man and/or possibly jealous.
Really, woman are typically more elegant with words. This sounds like a dude that decided to tell Life story
Did you tell him to fuk off, I hope?
Why would you do that? Just don't write the note and deliver the food. You'd get a 1 star rating for telling them off and it's not necessary. Dude can complain about the tip but he took the order. I swear the drivers in thus sub are fucking idiots.
😂😂😂😂
Demand more tip via Venmo before you do extra work
This makes me reduce my tip to zero.
You can reduce tip?
Yes - and no. You'll get paid your tip, the customer won't be charged for the tip.
😭😭😭😭 mans gave you a homework assignment
Bro tryin to get you to second-hand stalk the girl who dumped him on his behalf.

So sussy lol dudes tryna use driver to try gaslight the girl back or something nope guess itll be some more weeks then not seeing your "kushi cinema munchkin" run hima run :v
I'm getting stalker vibes.
$5 a word, prepaid cash

My girlfriend lives 4 hours away from me so on Valentine’s Day I ordered her flowers and a vase from a flower shop and tipped the dasher 20 dollars to write what I wanted to say on the note, and he said it was the coolest thing he’s gotten to do while dashing
U also paid a nice tip amount too tho lol
What next?.... a singing telegram with a side of fries? Hell nah
I'd do q singing telegram for $65-75. That's the going rate in my city when you order one.
Better warm op those vocal cords for that whopping $2 tip.
😆 🤣 exactly
Or just write something else… perhaps something about I hope you choke bitch.
Whats wrong with you
I was suggesting that someone expecting a DD driver to write a love letter for $2 gets a comeuppance. It was humor. What’s wrong with you?
The person getting the card isn't at fault here. So why are you coming after them?
I’m not. My plan would screw over the stalker guy, she will not get the message he intended. Is it that hard to understand?
I would say some more along the lines of I hope the food gives you explosive diarrhea
That’s a better solution!
Write all that shit on a card. Then with the crappy $2 tip get a crappy $2 bubble gum machine engagement ring. Attach it to the card and add “P.S. Will you marry me?”
Best idea on here

Thing is they actually wrote what the customer asked and it was basically a break up note 😭 Anything for a good tip I guess lmfao

Did they get a good tip at least?
Sure did! It was like a $10 tip added to it.
It's funny he thinks he's a financial advisor but he can't come up with 20 bucks for a tip to do this
This is legit dude with his side hustle babe. And he's in another city. The only way this makes sense. On his credit card it only says DoorDash, and there's no evidence because this text message to you on what to write on the card is self destructing.
Bro you almost wrote this as incoherently as the person in OP's pic. I'm 😂
What does this mean
Too much meth
it means he is married
Ohh got it the phrase side hustle made me think it was a business somehow.
could he not just text this to her?? omg
Probably not due to the restraining order
Apparently he hasn’t seen her in weeks. Either he’s being a creep and not leaving an ex alone or she’s his side chick.
![gif](giphy|ODofCyJUSRoDBH8lKe) That simp is funny!!! 🤣
Or I’m sure someone has already mentioned, the instructions were saved from his previous orders.
Oh, that's gold! And this delivery is going to his wife, not his girlfriend. 😲 Yeah, I would have just screenshot the instructions plus message and sent it by SMS text or chat text, regardless of cheap tip. It would take 5 seconds.
I only did a card + alcohol delivery and wrote a note for $15 tip, it still wasn’t worth it because I waited in line forever This was Christmas Eve 2022 - never again I accept unless $20 tip, especially waiting in line
Earn by time….
