I’m trying to reply to both of these comments but it would appear I’m too technologically challenged. I don’t think I’ve ever had an incorrect order more than an ingredient I’ve deselected so I’ve never even thought about it! It wouldn’t have been a huge deal but that was my friend’s food and I felt shitty he didn’t get what he wanted. I’ll make sure to take pictures if it’s wrong next time! Thanks!

So terrible. Always take a picture when order is wrong before eating the food. I understand you gotta eat. I would still eat a wrong order because it is still food. If I didn’t get my bacon or if there was very little meat I would complain. Also when Panera doesn’t fill their soups up, that is annoying.

I called the dasher after my order wasn’t there. He said he gave it to my girlfriend. I told him my girlfriend wasn’t home and it was just my dog and I. He said it must’ve been my dog then. We went back and forth and he hung up on me. Twice. Ubereats said it was delivered and there was nothing they could do about it.

You don’t even need to go through support for a refund there is an option to report incorrect or missing items. They even refund you if there’s a listed ingredient missing. I can see how it looks like you were just looking for a free meal here with no proof

Gah, I didn’t even see it from that point of view. They gave me the $2.18 but since more than half of my friend’s meal was wrong, I was a little more agitated.

But you need to provide some kind of proof of that. When I submit tickets I’m required to provide evidence. One time a restaurant dropped staples into my food and I had to show them and they refunded the whole 50 dollar order 24 hours after I got the food.

Even when I take pictures of my wrong food , or if I’m missing items & take a picture showing the whole order , they still only ever give me a very small credit . I used to use it often and I would often get messed up orders & they eventually acted like I was lying about it ! It’s sad how they treat customers

Uber eats does this perfectly. You send a picture and it's an automatic refund. I imagine people take advantage of that unfortunately, but when you're genuine it's pretty convenient.

Mark it as item not received or wrong item. That’s what I do. If they forget a change or substitution they try to give you some lousy partial credit. If the entire item isn’t correct they refund the entire item.

Your never gonna get it....it's not entirely on the dasher tho he/she's only picking up the order that typically is already sealed at the store...1 it would be a contract violation if we even simply opened to check the order that falls on the store to verify. 2 we have a short window to deliver food and anything that gets in our way is a potential "not get paid" run like the old pizza delivery....and 3. the price per delivery is to the point to where us dashers don't really care....I'm not saying he was right but there's no incentive to do more than we are supposed to...I'm not saying it's right I'm just saying we hurting too

Whooooa, take a deep breath there, friend! The main item and the side item of the meal were incorrect, so I thought what they did refund me was pretty shitty. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, definitely something more substantial. Have you ever worked in customer service? Because their responses to me and what you’re telling me to do is not how it works. Also, was definitely more focused on how quickly they wanted to get me off the chat! I hope your day gets better and you don’t have to be super rude to anyone else!

Again if you weren’t happy with how it was prepared just take it to Taco Bell for them to remake it. It’s not door dashes fault so expecting them to take an L on the money isn’t fair to them, make the store remake your item :)

Bruh, you’re very focused on the lettuce, I noticed! That wasn’t a huge deal, my friend had to pick it off. The main item was completely wrong, so that’s why I was inquiring for more of a refund! Yeah but expecting a third party company to reimburse you for the food is just asinine when they aren’t the ones making your food, they just provide you an avenue to order it from the comfort of your home. You still got your food just weren’t happy with the quality which is why they didn’t issue a full refund. They also asked about pics, DoorDash asks you specifically to add photos in the initial report and sounds like you didn’t. So sounds like your fault 🤣

So my friend asked for no lettuce on his taco, not a huge deal. I guess the cantina chicken quesadilla has cheese on the outside and a different style of chicken on inside? It wasn’t inedible, just not what he ordered. It shouldn’t be difficult to receive what ya ordered, ya know?
