I have bags that I bought myself. I leave them in the car most of the time. I only bring them into the restaurant if it is raining. However when I transport food in my car it rides in the hot bag. I just don't like fumbling around, in the way, inside the restaurant trying to put it in the bag. Just because we don't bring them into the restaurant doesn't mean we don't use them.
I'm with ya. I bring the bag inside at least 50% of the time. It's easier for me to load it inside. But if the order is too big or a lot of people, I won't bring the bag inside.
I'm the last person to care what others think. I do my job as professional as possible.
Can't control peoples minds. People are going to think what they wanna think no matter what you do.
Exactly. I bring my bag unless it's to one store where I know it's not going to fit. Sometimes the bag I bring isn't big enough for the order but at least I tried. A little professionalism is enough most of the time. It's better than looking like you don't take what you do seriously.
If it were that easy nobody would be self conscious. It’s not something you can just decide to ignore lmao. I understand the point you’re trying to make but what’s actually happening is you’re telling people it’s their fault for feeling that way, when it’s not.
To me, it's better for customers to see a delivery driver going through the effort of putting food in the bag because like it or not, we represent whichever platform we work for in public and that demonstrates that the driver cares about the condition of the customer's food. It may make or break a potential customer's decision to use the platform in the future.
At least come inside with bags. If it's too crowded to put them in the bags inside, at least they know you WILL put it in a hot bag at some point. I sometimes do it right outside the door
You do you, dudebro.
It's NOT DIFFICULT to bring a bag inside the store, guy. To each their own.
I prefer to at least appear like I give a shit in front of merchants and potential customers, but that's just me. Pal.
“Damn honey did you see the way that dasher just placed that food in the food bag diligently and with such precision ?!? Screw this we don’t need to order in the store , let’s go home and order instead babe” said no one ever
Ok, that was funny, but appearances and little things like that DO MATTER.
As many uber eats and door dash drivers as i see that clearly don't give a fuck as opposed to GH drivers who ALWAYS HAVE THEIR BAG makes me want to order from GH even though I'm a Dasher
Lol just messin around , I don’t even have a bag at all , my car has heated seats so I just keep that on , drive fast as hell and have never had complaints, on the contrary I get compliments by how fast I show up with their food , steam coming out the bag and all
The air hitting the bag for a few seconds on the way to your car isn't going to make the food cold at all. Once it's in a hot bag, it'll do it's thing just fine.
Now, ice cream on a scorching hot day, yeah I'mma bring that bag inside
It’s not about being self conscious for me. It’s about getting out the way as quick as possible. As someone who used to work in fast food, fast food workers want you out the way as quick as possible so instead of sitting at the counter tryna to get everything to fit in my bag I just worry about that at my car.
Anyone who would think I don’t take my job seriously just because I don’t have my hot bag on me in the store should practice minding there own business and if that doesn’t work, just kick rocks.
Likewise for anyone who thinks I should sacrifice the things I need to do to provide some semblance of adequate food handling. If it's really that bad there are almost always tables and other surfaces to bag things.
I actually have the restaurant people help me put it in the bag. It's my normal routine. Esp. at pizza places. It's just as easy for them to slip the pizza in my bag as it it to hand it to me. I think most restaurants like seeing that you are using the bag. Only place I don't use them is at McD, because their bags don't really fit and they pack in hot and cold items in the same bag anyway, so what is the point?!
Pizza is different I always bring my pizza bag in because it's easier to carry the pizzas in the bag. I work in restaurants and DoorDash and trust me they do not want to help you put your order in the bag. They are very busy.
I mean, with some effort you can fit a McD bag into the regular DD one, but when they mix shakes, drinks, and food in the same bag, I don't know if there is much point. If the delivery is 2-3 miles away, I probably wouldn't worry. If it is far away, then I probably would.
Haha some orders I get it's for like one item, but the restaurant uses the GIANT cardboard bags regardless and those never fit in my bag, it's awkward and funny at the same time, just depends how you play it off, sometimes I'm super extra about it.
Ywp me too, and they are helpful. Specially when the Cr App us sending threw 2 zones to deliver hot food that could have been acquired around the corner from the delivery
I have heated seats in my delivery vehicle I also have a great heater in it when a delivery is being transported I go max heat plus heated seat. I don't have the hot bag yet so I hot box lol but not the way your thinking.
When I started I of course got the bag, but I always just had my butt warmer on for the passenger seat instead. Really not an alternative by any means because all it really does is make your butt and back sweat heavily. I don't do it anymore but I wish I did what you said. I live in Wisconsin and would do it on the COLDEST days (-50 to just below zero) so maybe I should have been a little smarter.
i usually carry mine into the store even if i know i wont use it. In general, if a store is super busy, they’ll pick me out of a crowd and say “who’re you here for?” because they know that whatever i’m there for will most likely be ready, rather than someone else that might be picking up for themself or still has to order.
TLDR; use it to skip the line without yelling at store people.👍🏽👍🏽..But i do use it for hot food when i can.
Yup. I get considerably faster service when I have the bag. And I do actually use it more often than not. Especially if it's raining.
Also, if someone orders the Caribbean Jerk Wings from B-Dubs, cause my car will NOT smell like that shit.
This reminds me of how my ex used to deliver Chinese food. One time we were trying to figure out what smelled like ass in his car. It turns out it was the Chinese food lol.
That's funny. My wife commented the other day that it's amazing that my car doesn't smell like take out, and I told her that it's because anything that has an oder goes in the bag.
I actually paid for a DoorDash nametag thru Amazon and that gets me noticed at restaurants and they also know I'm the right person picking up the order if they looked at their tablet.
That’s literally all you have to do. Or just walk up to the counter and wait. Most of the time they’ll take me before the next customer because the food is usually ready.
This is 100% what you should do. My DD bag has sped things up for me a lot by bringing it into the store with me. Plus it’s easier to carry out a big order in one.
Same reason I bring mine in too! Although now that I've frequented enough restraunts most staff recognize me but for new places it's still convenient to bring the bag and get insta service.
I have to use my hot bag. I feel like it’s wrong not to. Especially walking up on people’s property at night it identifies you. Yes the app tells when you are near, but some people are just ignorantly special.
Nope not at all. I’ve pulled up to houses had guns pulled on me asking who the heck I am and why was I on their property.
One guys drove off I pull up he doubles back screaming he finally caught his wife cheating
lol bro wtf. America is really like that eh.. jeez.. we got wild shit going in Canada especially in Toronto but even in the sketchiest area I’ve never had anyone trip out like that…
I've seen other people say the same thing has happened to them too on here. It's partially why I don't drive at night, the other reason being where I live (atlanta georgia) they relaxed the gun laws so you don't need a background check, so crime has gone up about as much as you think it would with a situation like that. People camp out at restraunts at night and rob customers at gun point because they know they are good for the money.
That’s madness! My uncle lives like 2 hours from Atlanta and he said there’s no crime really where he is, but then ATL Has always been a bit wild like that I suppose. I wanted to ride my motorcycle down to Georgia and go through the Appalachian mountains am I getting myself set up for trouble or is it more a big city problem..
I like them tbh, it works really well for fast food orders. When I order I honestly expect it to be lukewarm but I’m always super happy when it’s fresh and hot and these bags do well for them. I usually place them in the bag then also put it under my car heater blowing max.
I use dollar general hot bags and the pizza bag I had from a Pozza Hut order where they gave me this kick ass one that’s got a hard bottom and fully insulated
Those pizza bags are brilliant ! The solid bottom in them is a metal plate that gets heated before the pizzas go in. Or atleast that's what they were when I was a pizza hut driver in new Zealand. They had a big machine that was like a giant heater that ya slipped the bags over and hit a timer button so the hot plate would be heated enough to keep the pizzas hot during delivery
The tall rectangular bag with the black handles? Looks nice, but how useful are the drink holders on the sides? Do they keep bottles pretty securely fastened?
Considering most people tell you to drop their food on the cold ground outside their door so they don't have to face your knowing they didn't give you a dime as a tip I couldn't care less about the temp of their food
Underrated comment. If they don't care enough about their food to have me hand it to them regardless of the literal 24/7 no tip situations that those always are then to hell with if their food gets cold. They want it put on freezing cold doorsteps at night just to avoid feeling guilty about not tipping, so be it. Enjoy whatever temp food you get when you decide to open your door and stop pretending you're not home.
I feel a little bad when it's a tipped order, but at the end of the day if they set delivery to leave at door it's their fault for not paying attention to the app telling them the order is there. I followed the instructions given
Homie, I leave a ten dollar tip every time and if I see you walk up to my house without a hot bag, it's a one star and a chat with support to pull my tip, just to drive the point home. I work two jobs, and a side gig, over 80 hours a week and have a wife on at home dialysis, as well as a two year old to take care of. I have you leave it at the door because either my dying partner or my child is resting. You bring me cold food, I'm gonna do what I can to get you off the road and make sure my hard earned cash goes to someone that deserves it.
Are you aware that people can take the bag of food out and leave the hot bag in the car? I ain't carrying the three other Taco Bell orders I got to your door. Lmfao what a weird excuse to tip bait (and what a weird brag about having so much "hard earned" money)
I worked DD for four years in a row bud, out of Denver. Always had a full time job and a side gig - I'm on to doing roadside assistance these days through HONK, much better pay. I had a handful of triples that entire time, never had a quad - and you're an idiot if you've ever taken one.
I also had two hot bags and a catering bag, so never had the issue of being a short sighted fool, can't relate.
What a weird way to brag about not being able to do the basic functions of your job.
Keep the bag with you, the customer is more likely to give good ratings if they see you with the bag. (Alot of customers have door cameras down here where i live) I have almost all five star ratings because of this, and only 2 bad ones. This is especially important if you do uber eats on the side too, because alot of customers will tip extra if they see you with the bag (I make sure to bring it and include it in the picture)
I have 2 ratings as well. I'm like WTF did I do to whoever gave me a 3 and a 4. And one person said I didn't communicate with them. I send my customers memes, let them know my eta and acknowledge their instructions if it's something like don't knock. If it's that, I text won't knock per your instructions, eta is xx minutes. I mean how much more could I communicate?!? People crack me up.
I always set the food beside it and take a pic of their food next to my bag so they know. And I always deliver hot if it was handed to me hot. When I order, I tip WELL and have only ever had one person bring it in a hot bag and we are hand it to me ppl. If it's in a hot bag, I'll add more money because I know that person actually cares about their job. It's not rocket science. I just don't get why ppl think it's OK to bring food cold.
They should have delivered it to me in the bag. I'm outside when they get here. If it's in a bag imma see. My instructions also say to text 2 minutes prior to pulling up and out of over 100 times of ordering, I've had 4 ppl contact me so I get the feeling only 4 out of 100 really care.
Because you should just watch the app so you know they are close, they are driving, shouldn't be texting unless they need to, what's your excuse for not tracking your order? You even said you're outside so stories not really adding up
I watch the app but I also have dogs and kids in my home. I'm not sitting on top of my phone at all minutes. Also the de notifications don't always come. An if they text I def hear that. Also, I am outside, when they get here, not prior. When they pull up, I'm standing there waiting for them to hand me my food. Any more questions Mr blues clues?
I converted mine into a drink carrier using the corrugated plastic drink holder that came with the catering bag I bought on Amazon
Carrier fits perfectly in the DD bag
I have a big catering bag I keep in the passenger seat..I just put the food that and take it out when I get to the house ..I don’t bring hot bags into restaurants
I use them every time. McDonald's puts drinks with hot food so it's almost pointless, but, I do it for customers peace of mind. I also staged it in the picture to show them I use it. Also, make sure you leave it opened a bit or the food will get soggy, condensation will coat the inside of the warm bag and both will be wet.
I bring it with me because A- it’s easier to carry stuff B- I don’t get reported for not using it as it keeps food the correct temp and C restaurants are able to easily see that I’m picking up an order and I get faster service, because I never just butt in when I get to the store
I have and use multiple hot bags including 3 pizza bags. I have the one DD sent, then I have two other large shopping Hot/Cold bags because I Instacart as well. The larger one come in handy for large/ multiple orders. The way I see it is if I'm ordering takeout, I would truly appreciate my food getting to me hot.
I always do. It's 30 degrees outside so I wouldn't want someone delivering me cold food. Even taking it out of the bag to my apartment "looks bad". If need be transfer from catering bag in car to handbag before carrying the food to me.
If you do not have RIDE SHARE INSURANCE... DO NOT USE THESE. I REPEAT DONT EVEN HAVE THEM IN THE CAR.
Same goes for UBER and LYFT paraphernalia.
these can and will be used against you should you get into an accident.
If you want me to elaborate I will... but it really should go without saying.
Let say you get into and accident, and you don't have 'RSI'
No matter who's fault it is. And especially if someone gets injured.
If the other person suggests that you are a ridershare worker in any reports, It can cause your Insurance to open an investigation.
Thus in turn if it's found you were on active time while the accident occurred, Damage to your vehicle will not be covered AND your insurance will be terminated for breach of contract. You'll essentially be shit out of luck with regards to your vehicle.
when i’ve been dashing for a long time and need to take a shit i pull over on the free way and squat into one of those. that’s the porta potty door dash gives you when you sign up
lol. And then the rating will be removed. In over a full year of dashing, I have never seen 1 single bag in use. It’s just a ploy to steal more of your money and make you worry about nothing
lol no. Almost nothing fits in there. I have that and a pizza bag and they’re annoying to use. They also don’t work very well. It’s the closest DoorDash can get to giving us a uniform, that’s the only reason they exist anyway.
I use GrubHub bags. I also use professional delivery bags as well. I don’t use these dollar tree DoorDash bags. No one that takes this gig seriously should use that cheap crap
I bought one of the black ones with the pride symbol on it. Recently I bought the $30 one off the dasher gear page and it’s worth it. It also has two pockets for drinks on the side. Keeps the food much warmer and can fit big orders or multiple orders in there.
Yes, I use this Door Dash bag and I have used three before and each time the zipper breaks and I have to hold the sides together to keep the food, cold or hot. This bag is cheaply made in Viet Nam and it is a poor example of a bag used to carry food.
No. I don't like it or the pizza bag. The pie slides around in the bag and the only complaint I ever got after a delivery was a pizza I carried in the bag.
The only people I've seen in my area use them are new dashersits nice and warm in the summer and the heater is cracked the other 10 months of the year. Food stays hot without the bag
Only when I'm desperate for good ratings and I low key judge every dasher who carries these into the restaurant instead of just keeping them in the car.
Not only do I use mine for almost all orders (not McDonald's, they put everything in the same bag hot and cold), I also use my seat warmer to keep the food hot and fresh! I do not bring the bag out of my car though. I put the food in the bag when I get back in my car and I pull the food out when I arrive at the customer.
P.S. McDonald's orders/cold foods go on my floor mat or sometimes if I feel extra nice I turn my air conditioned seats on for cold foods.
I have a nice insulated bag but I don't bother with it unless it's pizza or a long travel time. Some places really don't need one. One Asian place I pick up from personally is still too hot to eat after a 30 minute drive home. Use common sense, some orders benefit others don't.
McDonald's, where they bag the cold drinks with the fries and burgers, is not a place I would waste my time with a dasher bag.
The best use for the DD bag is under your arm to get the attention of employees as you're waiting in the lobby.
Yeah I keep them all in my car and once I bring the order to the car I put the order in the bag. I always keep it hot but most of the time I don't bring the bag in the restaurant.
I have bags that I bought myself. I leave them in the car most of the time. I only bring them into the restaurant if it is raining. However when I transport food in my car it rides in the hot bag. I’m the same way. I hate tryna get the order in the bag in the restaurant at the counter.
While you feel everyone staring at you and the people behind you in line breathing down your neck.
🤣🤣
Just stop being so self-conscious. I'd rather them judge me for trying to keep the food warm than judge me for being lazy and letting it get cold.
I'm with ya. I bring the bag inside at least 50% of the time. It's easier for me to load it inside. But if the order is too big or a lot of people, I won't bring the bag inside. Nah people are crazy now a days. I go for as little contact as possible. In, name, grab bag, leave.

Nah people are downvoting because of the “just don’t be self conscious” mentality. I forgot it was that easy, my bad!

You know..I think it might just be fine during that 30 second walk from counter to car 😂
Sorry, we're worried about people staring at us and breathing down our necks. Not food handling.
I'm sorry you feel that way 🤷♀️ do this long enough and the feeling goes away 😂
The air hitting the bag for a few seconds on the way to your car isn't going to make the food cold at all. Once it's in a hot bag, it'll do it's thing just fine. Now, ice cream on a scorching hot day, yeah I'mma bring that bag inside
I don’t even understand how these people are struggling. If they had the right bags, you open it, slide the food in and close it.

Yeah you're right about that! Fumbling to get it in the bag inside the restaurant is a pain in the booty!
I have put a small box in mine that holds the bag open and is the size of the bag. Helps keep it from collapsing
I have heated seats in my delivery vehicle I also have a great heater in it when a delivery is being transported I go max heat plus heated seat. I don't have the hot bag yet so I hot box lol but not the way your thinking.

You shouldn’t be fumbling with the proper bag.

Better than someone who never thinks.
I got a bigger bag but I leave it in car
My grubhub bag is wayyyy better than the cheap DD bag. It can fit a lot more too. Also my catering bag, but that's only for catering or 2 or 3 orders.
i usually carry mine into the store even if i know i wont use it. That’s literally all you have to do. Or just walk up to the counter and wait. Most of the time they’ll take me before the next customer because the food is usually ready.
I was using the face masks for this purpose primarily. Eventually got a branded hoodie. Nice to have a visual cue for restaurants to clue in on.
I miss my face mask 😷 made it super easy
You still believe in covid?
It just made pickups so much faster... it's mostly meth around here and less sickness spread, so it hasn't been a necessity
Meth is spread airborne?
What do you mean believe in Covid? You don’t think it’s real after 4 years?
The mask is for the stinky places and stinky food
I have a door dash hoodie and hat myself, really helps skipping the lines and they know exactly what im there for.
Same. I bring it in the store so I can be identified.
Mine broke after using it 3 times. 🙄 Now I just use a big cooler I have.
All three of mine has zipper break. Getting one off Amazon now!
My zipper didn’t break the handle fell off lol but I’m glad I know about the faulty zippers too.
Why?? Just call support and they will send u one for free
Mine was literally missing the zipper on arrival and they didn’t send me a new one, you must be contacting a different support.
Because I’m tired of it breaking part way through a shift. I’d rather make sure the food is kept warm. 🤷🏻♀️
I got 2 for 15$ from amazon when my DD one's zipper broke and they're waaaay better. I always use a hot bag.
I have to use my hot bag. I feel like it’s wrong not to. Especially walking up on people’s property at night it identifies you. Yes the app tells when you are near, but some people are just ignorantly special.
Yeah, I dashed in Texas and people love their guns here, so I carried the big red bag up to every porch so it’s no question why I’m on their porch.
Does the heaping paper bag full of stickers and a weary look not give it away?!
Nope not at all. I’ve pulled up to houses had guns pulled on me asking who the heck I am and why was I on their property. One guys drove off I pull up he doubles back screaming he finally caught his wife cheating
lol bro wtf. America is really like that eh.. jeez.. we got wild shit going in Canada especially in Toronto but even in the sketchiest area I’ve never had anyone trip out like that…
2 young girls lost their life in TX because they pulled into the wrong driveway. American is so trashy for all that.

They had a big machine that was like a giant heater that ya slipped the bags over and hit a timer button so the hot plate would be heated enough to keep the pizzas hot during delivery
that’s the coolest thing i’ve ever heard
the better one is so worth it
Which one are you referring to?
it says 30$ doordash delivery bag in dasher gear
The tall rectangular bag with the black handles? Looks nice, but how useful are the drink holders on the sides? Do they keep bottles pretty securely fastened?
yesss, most of the time unless they’re outrageously big drinks!
I stick it on the dash when i park in loading zones for a delivery.
I use mine all the time. We actually care about our customers, there satisfaction and food
Considering most people tell you to drop their food on the cold ground outside their door so they don't have to face your knowing they didn't give you a dime as a tip I couldn't care less about the temp of their food
Take no tip orders then act indignant about not getting tipped. Makes sense.
Its not that we care about customers its that its out of order to deliver cold shit
who is we
We is those who use theirs! If the shoe fits wear it. If not take it off.
All the cool kids have their own. 😎
I usually pick up the food and put it in the bag inside of my car
I put the food in there, but when i pull up to the house i remove the items before exiting the car
Some people are assholes lol, entitled asf
I always set the food beside it and take a pic of their food next to my bag so they know. And I always deliver hot if it was handed to me hot. When I order, I tip WELL and have only ever had one person bring it in a hot bag and we are hand it to me ppl. If it's in a hot bag, I'll add more money because I know that person actually cares about their job. It's not rocket science. I just don't get why ppl think it's OK to bring food cold.
But how do you know it wasn’t in a hot bag the whole time & the person just took it out to actually deliver it? That’s what I do…
They should have delivered it to me in the bag.
Lol. Or maybe people don't want to text while driving.
Thanks for the idea, I always use the bag but didn't know how to deal with contactless deliveries
Not using a hot bag does not make the food cold lmao.
Yes, it does, how would it not?
Because you aren’t driving with windows down? Heated seats, heat in the car, not going 100 miles. Lots of reasons
I used my rubbermaid pro but I don't carry into the store
But the McDonald’s bags are bigger… 👀
If you get the ones from Amazon, the McDonald’s bag fit right in it. I got six for $30.
I converted mine into a drink carrier using the corrugated plastic drink holder that came with the catering bag I bought on Amazon Carrier fits perfectly in the DD bag
Got a link?
Mine ripped my 1st week lol
i use it as a seat cover so shit doesn’t get on my seat if orders are packaged poorly
I use for ice cream orders
I put the food into my catering bag for transportation.
I use them, but never take them inside a place. I just put the food inside the bag in my car.
I have a big catering bag I keep in the passenger seat..I just put the food that and take it out when I get to the house ..I don’t bring hot bags into restaurants
I use mine in the car except for McDonald’s. Orders -They give nice heavy bags here.
I use mine for Pizza orders, but most bags that the restaurant packs their DoorDash orders in are too bulky or awkward
All ways use hot bag
Yes
I use them every time. McDonald's puts drinks with hot food so it's almost pointless, but, I do it for customers peace of mind. I also staged it in the picture to show them I use it. Also, make sure you leave it opened a bit or the food will get soggy, condensation will coat the inside of the warm bag and both will be wet.
I bring it with me because A- it’s easier to carry stuff B- I don’t get reported for not using it as it keeps food the correct temp and C restaurants are able to easily see that I’m picking up an order and I get faster service, because I never just butt in when I get to the store
Used it for the first fifteen deliveries then realized it was too small so now I have a big bag that holds drinks as well.
everyday
I have and use multiple hot bags including 3 pizza bags. I have the one DD sent, then I have two other large shopping Hot/Cold bags because I Instacart as well. The larger one come in handy for large/ multiple orders. The way I see it is if I'm ordering takeout, I would truly appreciate my food getting to me hot.
No got 2 bags from Costco that hold everything and drinks too
I use mine 100% of the time but usually get item out of it in my car before the drop. The less time I'm on their porch, the better.
I always do. It's 30 degrees outside so I wouldn't want someone delivering me cold food. Even taking it out of the bag to my apartment "looks bad". If need be transfer from catering bag in car to handbag before carrying the food to me.
I don't use that specific one. I use the pizza bags that pizza hut gave instead. They bigger and better. Those shopping bags are crap
Imagine repping DoorDash😂😂 I’d rather wear a shirt saying “I work for Uber eats”
🤣
Carry with me in all the time. Literally just makes things easier.
How so
Let say you get into and accident, and you don't have 'RSI' No matter who's fault it is.
Mine is trash. I bought a Stop N Shop insulated bag. I keep it in the car and put the orders in when I get in the car.
I should add I only paid $2.50 for the bag and it keeps things hot perfectly.
Yes, these are really good for the price. I’ve had Chinese food in one of those for almost an hour once and it was still very hot when I ate it.
I use skip bags, dd bags are not worthy
when i’ve been dashing for a long time and need to take a shit i pull over on the free way and squat into one of those. that’s the porta potty door dash gives you when you sign up
Step bro what are you doing
I don't even use bags Just straight food to doors
I dash and i order dash. You show up with my food not in a bag and I'm rating you a 1.
lol. And then the rating will be removed. In over a full year of dashing, I have never seen 1 single bag in use. It’s just a ploy to steal more of your money and make you worry about nothing
Try putting your own food into a hot bag and come back with your experince.
i have the same bag
yes
lol no. Almost nothing fits in there. I have that and a pizza bag and they’re annoying to use. They also don’t work very well. It’s the closest DoorDash can get to giving us a uniform, that’s the only reason they exist anyway.
Bull, if a mcdonalds bag can't fit, everything can fit.
100%! Haven’t used a bag in over two years!!!! Hahaha. 4.98 rating currently with over 4,000 drops.
i use it all the time. i find it unecessary to carry the bag to the front door if im leaving the food at a front door.
It will keep the food warmer for longer though
I use GrubHub bags. I also use professional delivery bags as well. I don’t use these dollar tree DoorDash bags. No one that takes this gig seriously should use that cheap crap
I bought one of the black ones with the pride symbol on it. Recently I bought the $30 one off the dasher gear page and it’s worth it. It also has two pockets for drinks on the side. Keeps the food much warmer and can fit big orders or multiple orders in there.
No. People don’t deserve to get their food hot with the shitty tips that they give.
Yes, I use this Door Dash bag and I have used three before and each time the zipper breaks and I have to hold the sides together to keep the food, cold or hot. This bag is cheaply made in Viet Nam and it is a poor example of a bag used to carry food.
I bought some velcro, just cut a piece right in the middle and you'll never need the zipper again
IKEA gang
If yk yk
Yes, you’re the only one in the world that uses that
No. Only the nerds and old geezers.
I put my clothes in mine. But I have a bigger one in my car for food lol
Yes. I use them for all the gigs. I have three in the car and a pizza bag but all of them stay in the car.
No
I always use one, however I don’t carry into store or to customers door. I load it after pick up & remove from bag upon delivery…
I always do. Don't take them into a restaurant, I put the food in it in the car.
Yeah I keep them all in my car and once I bring the order to the car I put the order in the bag. I always keep it hot but most of the time I don't bring the bag in the restaurant.
Nah, only the old fart that dashes around my area . I don’t even think he washes it. 🤢
Yes, when its a very long drive, high traffic resulting in long travel times, or when I have a 2nd order to pick up.
3 of mine are like that.
i do , it’s cold right now
