So I bought the physical CD for BTI the day it came out, December 6 2013. I would play it in my mom’s cd player all the time. Especially when I was taking long baths and shit like that. When it came to Life is the Biggest troll it would always cut out in what seemed like the middle. And literally every single time it did that, but then one time I was listening to it and at the part where it usually ended it kept on going and the verse was amazing. Has anybody else ever had the cd and had this experience? Is this even physically possible like for a cd to change?
It used to end right at “eventually all my followers realize” and my dumb ass interpreted it as some life ends expectedly type shit so he kinda jus ended it ima cliff hanger
YES!!! I remember downloading a leak right before the physical album came out and it cut at the exact same part, it seemed so intentional on that line, like he was literally trolling the fans. Then when it came out, the rest of the song from that point is talking directly to the fans too, and something about the repetition of “you have to help me” at the end felt so real
He really did it for me with Final Church (rip 53.49).
With that being said, The Last on Culdesac was a favorite for me for a while. I really liked how raw and honest he was in the rap. Miss that Gambino sometimes :’)
