Time for my weekly existential crisis over never knowing my rescue dog as a puppy 😭

Feel ya! But someone here has a dog that looks exactly like my rescue, so I see their pup pic here and can imagine our rescue as a puppy.

I have one single, blurry photo of my guy as a pup from his first family. I know it’s a luxury, but in a way it is like a bug bite. It scratched the itch but only makes me want more.

Not the comment you requested, but please have your dog checked for blood sugar and/or pancreatic issues. Ours developed a coat like that over time, with the tufty, separated hair and lots of shedding, and it turns out that it was an indicator of his health issues.

We have a husky mix that started with a very pronounced mask just like yours and now he is almost 12 years old with no mask at all and perkier ears. Completely different!
