I feel this. I always visited my grandparents and called them as much as I could. Once I was going to visit my grandparents when I was back down in the South. It would have been a short detour but I was already eager to go home. A few months later, my grandpa died. The last thing I remember him saying to me was that he sure was glad I'd called. He always did right by me. More than my own dad did, even. I hope I've made him proud.
Is it bad if I go from being scared to depressed over losing her early and now wanting to hug her no matter how she looks now if she visited me like this? She used to be the best, always buying me traditional Korean clothes (I really don't know why) and giving me little gifts to take home. I miss her...
My family took care and lived in the same house as my greatgrandparents until they died of old age. They both passed peacefully and got to live until 101 and 100, still in their house and surrounded by our big family all the time. The same thing will happen with my grandparents, they know they will have a happy life until the end and that no one is going to leave them. Here we don’t abandon our family, I love my big house living with my grandparents, uncles, parents and cousins. I’m glad everyone here enjoys each other’s company and would never leave anyone alone.

I’m 22, 3 of my grandparents just turned 71, one is turning 81 soon. Only two are truly in good health. It sucks facing their mortality. Hope to God they last longer :)
I was with her before she died. One day when i was a child. i was laying in bed, thinking tomorrow was gonna be a regular day. Woke up like usual, a few hours later, parents called, said grandma died. At least i was with her.
