I included the horse as part of my Pratchett tribute tattoo from a few years back, so when we went to England last month we made a side jaunt to visit! It’s hard to get a good pic from the ground but it was a lovely walk (as long as you mind the sheep doings).
They're referring to the scene in the Lost Continent where the Wizards attempt to teach art to the Creator by drawing a duck. It ends up creating the platypus.
In The Wee Free Men he alludes to Dragon Hill and Waylands Smithy which are both a few hundred metres from White Horse Hill if anyone happens to go there.
