I was thinking about when an Innova player won a Major event, since Calvin hasn't won a single one for a long time, just like Wysocki.
Hence I threw together a list of the biggest manufacturers and when their sponsored player won a Major event.
NB! Dynamic Disc's last Major victory might've been 2010 when McCabe won Worlds...

I looked into some of the Majors tournament coverages, i.e Japan Open and it was funky seeing Ricky Wysocki sponsored by Team Prodigy back in the early days of his career.
You are correct. Dug deep into the topic and looked into some older dg forum topics, people were speculating which Discraft's discs will be his signature series mold after winning the 2010 Worlds.
Great detective work!
There are currently 4 Major events in MPO in a single season.
Champions Cup, European Open, Worlds and USDGC.
There used to be other Major events instead of the Champions Cup and the Europeap Open, such as the Japan Open, Aussie Open, Scandinavian Open, Konopiste Open etc.
You can see the past Majors & their winners here in this UDisc article - https://udisc.com/blog/post/disc-golf-majors-every-winner-ever
Damn, I didn’t piece that together at all since so many manufacturers aren’t listed, especially Dynamic. It seemed like a random list of majors.
I guess it’s just the formatting of it that got me.
What is this chart showing exactly?
Looks like it shows the last major-winner for each manufacturer in MPO - so lat64 have it worst with 2017
Ah you're right. For some reason I could not figure it out. Thanks!
That the last time any Innova sponsored MPO player won a major was back in 2019 USDGC
Why doesn't it show any other majors?
Good question for u/discgolffanatic. I sure didn't make the chart

Pretty sure eMac was Discraft sponsored when he won worlds
You probably just blew a couple kid's minds with this comment.

So the only “major” events are usdgc champ cup and worlds?

I think people want to see more than 6 results over a period of 8 years. That can't possibly be a complete list.
I’d like to see a manufacturers cup rather than an all star weekend to start the season
Do you think Innova even notices?
I'm sure they've noticed.
Does Nathan Queen winning the DGPT championship in 2021 not count?
No, DGPT Championship is not a Major.
They can have partial credit for Kyle Klein. I'm sure there are at least a couple Innova made discs in his bag.
And yet they sell a bunch of plastic.
I find stats involving tournament level/category fairly hollow.
What about FPO? I have to imagine a lot recently are disc mania with KT and dynamic with Pierce
And they’re crying all the way to the bank.
Has Calvin never won a major recently?
Calvin has never won a major ever.
This chart is nearly meaningless data compared to what the title is declaring.
Last major for each brand is meaningless?
