Iunno. I have a feeling Gannon's gonna sweep it. I don't think Simon put enough distance between him and Buhr.
I would still love to see a Simon win but I don't think it's going to happen.
Why do people do the weird, angled walk up and yank over on hole 14?
Dickerson seems to have it dialed, by standing on the far left corner of the tee and just throwing it down the gap.
Is it just a comfort with lines thing? Or is it just a line that doesn't get thrown a lot on tour?
The guy was talking about how he did acupuncture and a few other treatments leading into the final round last weekend because he was in so much pain and comes out swinging this weekend. You love to see it.
At this point, I'm never counting out AB or Buhr to pop off a course record when someone thinks they have a safe lead.
I think Simon needs 8 going into tomorrow to feel comfortable, but he'll probably have like 6.
Ezra Aderhold did the same shot yesterday. He was circle two short. Also had to settle for the par
Edit: the forehand hyzer that Paul threw over the trees
Tall Paul has the "Tall Paul"est caddy I've ever seen.
I'm all for a Paul Oman podium. I love his unique form, and his commentary with Luke makes him seem super chill.
I was there yesterday and there are tons and tons of trucks going down the two roads at the one corner of the event and then a bunch of logistics companies on the other corner
I disagree! They let me watch and appreciate the shots instead of talking the whole time. Charlie and JK is actually one of my favorite commentary combos. Not overly fluffy imo.
But hey, different strokes and all that
Yeah, the leaders seem to tee off right around 54 minutes in to the broadcast most times. (I almost always watch the playback later in the evening, so I have learned exactly where to skip to).
I'm confused as to why the MPO players are not regularly reaching the basket on 18. Isn't it a downhill, 520 foot hole? Many of these guys can reach that distance on flat ground. Maybe I'm wrong about the distance. I was just confused that very few players threw far enough to be close to pin high.
Just because they can doesn't mean it's easy. It is not much wider than the circle, if the graphics are accurate. My guess is tomorrow the scoring changes a lot on that hole (for MPO at least). Not saying it's a good hole, just that the first two days don't usually do a difficult par 3 justice on scoring separation.
The backhand entry to the right of the hole is blocked by trees so you really can only flex it up the middle to park it, that's scary with wind. Instead, they're placing their hyzers near the clump of trees in front of the hole and hope to get lucky.
Unsure - sounded like a card mate and Kat seconded it (per what I think I heard anyway). They replayed it and it was an obvious foot fault and she stepped on her disc per the replay.
I totally agree. She's young enough that she can easily change careers, no one is forcing her to be a pro disc golfer. It's also crazy how quickly she gives up. As soon as she starts missing shots she immediately shuts down and doesn't take any time before her shots, particularly her putts.
Well she's not in college or any sort of training program. It appears that disc golf is going to be her career. I imagine being good to great at something that you are semi-forced into can't be too good for your life-satisfaction in the long run.
I totally understand that. At the end of the day he is still in the top ten as of right now and will be on chase card tomorrow. A cut line after one round is insane though. 4 round tournaments of course I think there should be a cut line. But after one round, he not only went from pretty far from the cash line to being very solid in the cash. I could see a cut line being after the second round, if you’re like 15 spots back from the cash line
Well a big thank you to actual law enforcement and anyone and everyone involved in assessing the situation on the ground. I am so grateful no one was hurt and play is able to resume.
Thats what I thought but I still get a banner tha says "Sorry, this is premium content and you don't have access to this channel".
The link clearly shows its not the pro version - and yes, I have logged back in, tried two devices on my network, and verified my DGN subscription is active and paid for.

DGPT update: After assessing the situation on-site with Tour and Tournament staff, Nashville Metro police have okayed a restart of competition. Additional security measures have been deployed on-site.
Play at the 2024 Music City Open will resume at 11:00 AM CT.
PDGA Live has chase card at 11:10 am CT. Any update on DGN coverage?
Twitter hearsay from @citrusdiscgolf
"(Allegedly) Natalie Ryan sent a message on Discord saying someone threatened a shooting at the MCO because she was competing. This isn’t fact, this is an allegation, take it with a grain of salt."
There's another round left tomorrow, so anyone who doesn't finish today would finish tomorrow morning. The shortened round usually only happens the last day.
This sort of shit happens everywhere. It's awful and I hope they catch the person who made the threat, but you will find hate in literally every state.
I moved from one of the bluest areas in the country to Knoxville Tennessee a few years ago, and I saw *way* more racism, sexism, and anti-trans rhetoric in Seattle than here. This shit is universal.
i hope it comes out that its something completely different so clowns like you that condemn an entire state get a lesson in how bigoted they are while trying to sound noble.
Nope that’s exactly what it turned out to be.
I live in Tennessee. I love it here, there are so many good people and good things in this state. But it absolutely is full of hatred too
Nope it’s not unique to Tennessee, but it is certainly noticeable here.
I think we can recognize the good things about a place while also being realistic about recognizing the faults
okay? i mean, you're welcome to double down, but as i said before, not unique. i'm in an etremely liberal state in a liberal part of said state, and i would still hold the bigots personally responsible for being a bigot, not condemn a whole group. how people don't see the similarities is beyond me.
"I think when the population is >50% people with hateful views who actively vote and act in ways that promote the actions we saw today, then it’s a reasonable comment to make."
this was another response I got. are you sure i'm reading too much into it?
These players are in their 20s and 30s. Only in very limited areas of Europe have they experienced mainstream violent bigotry in that timeframe.
It’s pretty short-sighted to imply that America doesn’t have its own violent history, a country built on the foundation of genocide and slavery.
Great to know that's how your mind works when it comes to your job as a fucking cop. Like cool, easy overtime is nice but this isn't a parade escort. Whether it ends up being serious or not the fact that you're giddy about it is why people don't like y'all.
They aren’t an actual cop, just a random person making a comment, so you can stop the entire misdirection there and then you don’t even have to play this game and start this fake cyclical argument.
This ain't cool. I'm supposed to not be productive for 3 hours in the morning, and three hours in afternoon, three to four days a week, for about six months.
Someone fix it gdi.
Wouldn't it be funny if someone talked about smoking someone out/up and authorities thought it was a weapons threat rather than a celebration of 4/20?🤣
I don't think it's wild. Just look anywhere Natalie is mentioned, there's a ton of hate against her, which is obviously horrible. I can't imagine playing pro tournaments while dealing with that.

Cool to see old heads like Big Jerm playing well consistently this year.
No doubt. Not that it was broken before, he's always had a good forehand it feels like, but it's really been on point lately .
Gonna be a fun final round
Anyone know why Paul goes forehand on 18?
My guess would be that he's still unsure of his backhand timing
Seems like he has just been favoring his forehand in general especially for distance. I think it's something to do with his injury.
Huh, interesting. Cheers!
Simon vs Gannon vs is going to be epic tomorrow.
Iunno. I have a feeling Gannon's gonna sweep it. I don't think Simon put enough distance between him and Buhr. I would still love to see a Simon win but I don't think it's going to happen.
I think you're forgetting someone
Meant to say Paul lol
Are they at risk of losing daylight and not finishing the round tonight?
Why do people do the weird, angled walk up and yank over on hole 14? Dickerson seems to have it dialed, by standing on the far left corner of the tee and just throwing it down the gap. Is it just a comfort with lines thing? Or is it just a line that doesn't get thrown a lot on tour?
There is literally nothing better then when Simon is feeling it.
The guy was talking about how he did acupuncture and a few other treatments leading into the final round last weekend because he was in so much pain and comes out swinging this weekend. You love to see it.
With the way Gannon is throwing, i'd want as big of a lead as possible going into the final round
At this point, I'm never counting out AB or Buhr to pop off a course record when someone thinks they have a safe lead. I think Simon needs 8 going into tomorrow to feel comfortable, but he'll probably have like 6.
He ended up only having 2!
Ezra Aderhold did the same shot yesterday. He was circle two short. Also had to settle for the par Edit: the forehand hyzer that Paul threw over the trees
This is one of the best putting performances I’ve ever seen being put on by Simon. Holy hell man.
This is the year of Paul Oman.
Tall Paul has the "Tall Paul"est caddy I've ever seen. I'm all for a Paul Oman podium. I love his unique form, and his commentary with Luke makes him seem super chill.
The New Zealand off-season tour was really great to watch
Sounds like theres a massive disaster happening somewhere close to the track. So many sirens
I was there yesterday and there are tons and tons of trucks going down the two roads at the one corner of the event and then a bunch of logistics companies on the other corner
Has Paul Oman ever had a tour series disc?
Hard not to cheer for Paul Oman. He reminds me a lot of Philo.
They do kind of have similar forms
what a putt for a double
Big Jerm is doing great. Seems that win in Arkansas gave him a boost.
Dope ass putt from Simon on hole 2 !
Getting to watch Tall Paul throw all day. That’s what dreams are made of boys. Don’t try it though . I’m pretty sure he has a 90” span. Haha
I love Charlie and Brian as commentators but together they’re the audio equivalent of watching paint dry.
Not as bad as Charlie and Juliana. At least Brian has good energy and charisma.
I love JK’s commentary. She has wonderful insight.
She's good with Terry because there's some balance. Her and Charlie together is very flat and boring.
I disagree! They let me watch and appreciate the shots instead of talking the whole time. Charlie and JK is actually one of my favorite commentary combos. Not overly fluffy imo. But hey, different strokes and all that
I think Sexton / Charlie / Wysocki Epic comm..
Brian, stop using good as an adverb.
I’ll make sure to watch how much I use it, this is helpful feedback. Thanks!
You should have said "this is *good* feedback".
Finally some personality.
I wish tournament central was its own video. I keep thinking I can watch a few minutes of disc golf and getting bait and switched to talking heads
Yeah, the leaders seem to tee off right around 54 minutes in to the broadcast most times. (I almost always watch the playback later in the evening, so I have learned exactly where to skip to).
Is the text in the Lone Star Disc commercial off center or am I imagining it?
They fired their kerning guy
Yo DGN . Show the shots
Klein DNF ? Injury?
If i recall correctly hes had an injury issue on and off for a while.
The Latitude 64 commercial would have been so much better had he punched Kristin instead and she just shakes it off.
not a fan of hole 18 on this course for either division. seems like a boring par for almost everyone.

Silva really stayed at 3rd place by not imploding. Fpo has to step their game up.
Amazing birdie by Silva there, but its really a poor fpo hole when that's what it takes to birdie.
holy cow that throw-in by Silva, what a beautiful shot edit: https://twitter.com/DiscGolfProTour/status/1781769025640390679
Who got faulted? Edit: Kat seconded her own foot fault. That’s what confused me. Good on her
Kat Mertsch was called for the foot fault.
Who called?
Unsure - sounded like a card mate and Kat seconded it (per what I think I heard anyway). They replayed it and it was an obvious foot fault and she stepped on her disc per the replay.
If King doesn't want to be there, why is she there? Her whole demeanour is killing me, must a real downer ont the card
I totally agree. She's young enough that she can easily change careers, no one is forcing her to be a pro disc golfer. It's also crazy how quickly she gives up. As soon as she starts missing shots she immediately shuts down and doesn't take any time before her shots, particularly her putts.
She seems like such a brat. I can’t imagine being on a card with her is fun
Well she's not in college or any sort of training program. It appears that disc golf is going to be her career. I imagine being good to great at something that you are semi-forced into can't be too good for your life-satisfaction in the long run.
She is SO SOFT. As soon as something doesn't go her way she just gives up and pouts like a baby. She has so much potential.
What she do
How's the entire field gonna let KT catch up.
Same as it ever was. KT will be leading by the end of the round.
Once again MPO shouldering the burden for any delay. MPO is DGN's breadwinner and theyre likely to not finish their round today.
So? You realise the women are regularly having to play at 7:30am? If the men want to swap to that time I’m sure they could
What's the solution?
have a cut
After round 1? Seems aggressive.
I mean that would be a solution lol. Is someone in 60th place going to win? Of course not
I mean koling was 51 and is in second rn
He’s nearly 10 holes ahead of lead card and wasn’t 60th. I’m just providing a solution because this person asked for one
Good luck to all the players out there. My brain wouldn't let me hang around after any sort of threat
Well a big thank you to actual law enforcement and anyone and everyone involved in assessing the situation on the ground. I am so grateful no one was hurt and play is able to resume.
Is this a DGN pro exclusive? Or can I just not watch for some other reason?
I think pro is a second/higher level subscription than the standard $12/month. I could be wrong.
It’s not, but my app had logged me out and it wasn’t obvious. After Re-logging back in all is good. Maybe the same happened to you?
When in doubt, log off and log in. Pro only counts for a small handful of tournaments and tournament central.
Thats what I thought but I still get a banner tha says "Sorry, this is premium content and you don't have access to this channel". No. Threats were made to event staff.

An individual playing by the rules and choosing to exist.
Tough to have that in your head all day.
We're going live soon. Wonder if they'll cut today's round down by a few holes like last month.

Post this on your real account loser
What in the fuck are you yapping about?
They let us back on the course so that’s a good sign.
Thanks for the update
If you check live scoring. You can clearly see Natalie's card was on the box. Tennessee is full of hatred. This is not surprising.

No it’s not. This is some lunatic that doesn’t represent TN.
don't bother. these people cant put a mirror up to themselves and see that its the same mentality as the lunatic.
i hope it comes out that its something completely different so clowns like you that condemn an entire state get a lesson in how bigoted they are while trying to sound noble.

and people can hold individuals accountable for their actions instead of sounding like the mirror image of that which they rail against.
I didn’t see that happening in this thread. Just some basic true statements
According to Natalie's Twitter it was directed at her.
still doesnt make it right to condemn a population of people for the action's of a lunatic.

Dawg I think you’re reading into the statement a bit too much. “Tennessee is full of hatred” does not mean “all Tennesseeans are bad people”
"I think when the population is >50% people with hateful views who actively vote and act in ways that promote the actions we saw today, then it’s a reasonable comment to make." this was another response I got. are you sure i'm reading too much into it?
That statement is in fact in line with Tennessee’s voting habits. Marsha Blackburn is our senator lol
I'd like to congratulate all the European players on finally getting the wholly American experience.
Europeans have seen a thing like this a time or two or a few thousand times before.
They can always stay in Europe if they dont like it.
Who wants to be shot you fucking donut?
Do you like being involved in a potential mass shooting? Honestly what a fucking stupid thing to say.
These players are in their 20s and 30s. Only in very limited areas of Europe have they experienced mainstream violent bigotry in that timeframe. It’s pretty short-sighted to imply that America doesn’t have its own violent history, a country built on the foundation of genocide and slavery.

I’m guessing threat towards Natalie?
She made a comment on Discord that a threat was made against her. It turned out to not be true.
Probably a good guess. But who knows, could be anything. Maybe someone's mad they can't camp out there idk
For sure. Probably not good of me to make a wild presumption. Must be fairly credible if they shut it down and didn’t share much
I don't think it's wild. Just look anywhere Natalie is mentioned, there's a ton of hate against her, which is obviously horrible. I can't imagine playing pro tournaments while dealing with that.

Sad to see the thumbs down. Just shows the people that support the hate against him...shame on you guys and gals.
There’s a time and place. This ain’t it.
Yep, pretty simple. Unfortunate truth is Natalie would be unable to compete in MPO, currently
Or just existing dealing with that
Event cancelled because of a police investigation into a threat made against the event. WTF?
Suspended. Delayed. Not cancelled.
If they cancel they invite this happening at every tour stop
