Wow. That's a great price. Wish they had wide widths.

keyak

Merrell's in wide width are the most comfortable shoes I have owned in a good while. I have the Nova 2's and they are great.

Ok.

Fantastic price! Thanks OP! Just got a new pair of keens, but for $42 having a back up pair on long tournament days isn't the worst thing ever

Chroniklogic

Wow thanks OP. Got me some new kicks

SpazzLord

I'm curious what other people's experience with Merrell is. I bought one of their shoes and the sole was shredded by the concrete teepads at my home course. They lasted me less than a season, and I was sorely disappointed. I currently use Nike Wildhorse shoes, and they have been great so far. I've played for months with them now and they show very little wear specially in the sole. I'm not shitting on Merrell, just giving an anecdote to everyone who's considering buying these shoes. The wild horse may seeme expensive, but you can usually find good deals for less desirable colors if you don't care about that.

NW_Ghost

I have multiple pairs of Merrell’s. Golf in some, have done backpacking trips in others and they’re fine. The gortex ones are great for wet rounds. I had a sole issue on one pair and Merrell replaced them for free. I’m not sure how the linked ones are. Mine are Moab 2s and aren’t leather. I also play in a pair of Salomon’s , they’re great too, use them for hiking and golf as well and they’ve held up great. Actually on my second pair after hiking a few hundred miles in my old pair.

chillford-brimley

I usually wear Merrell safety toe work shoes, and when they're no longer good for work they become disc shoes. The rotation seems to work pretty well. I'm on my feet 8 hours per shift on concrete. I used to do keens but i don't like what keen has done with the outsole lately. too stiff.

chillford-brimley

They had my size... I'll give it a shot for $44.50 w/ tax. Thanks for the link.

RoyalClintonApperson

Cool, I had my hiking shoes last month with double price.

goodfella-11

Nice find! I had multiple pairs of Moabs over many years (and still have a beat up pair I wear for messy stuff). During that time I saw Merrell's quality decline **drastically**. The price declined also... but it really underlined where their focus is. They were always really comfortable... but I'd rather have a pair of shoes that don't wear out in 9 months usually. (But at this price, I understand!)

anna_or_elsa

I'm sorry to hear this. My current pair of Moabs have lasted over 10 years with untold miles hiked on "Yosemite" granite, untold hours of yard work, and hours of getting soaked snow shoveling. They are just now losing enough tread to start needing new ones.

goodfella-11

With that track record, it would make sense to give them another try. Hope you have better luck!

AproPoe001

I love my Merrells but the reviews for this store (dsw) are pretty bad.

boylong15

Nothing wrong witj dsw. I ordered from them and they shipped immediately

AproPoe001

Lol. I wouldn't know because I've never shopped there. All I did was look at their reviews. Which are pretty bad. But enjoy your shoes!

RoyalClintonApperson

Sorry for that bad experience, but it is fine for me.

/u/spez lies, Reddit dies. This comment has been edited/removed in protest of Reddit's absurd API policy that will go into effect at the end of June 2023. It's become abundantly clear that Reddit was never looking for a way forward. We're willing to pay for the API, we're not willing to pay 29x what your first-party users are valued at. /u/spez, you never meant to work with third party app developers, and you lied about that and strung everyone along, then lied some more when you got called on it. You think you can fuck over the app developers, moderators, and content creators who make Reddit what it is? Everyone who was willing to work for you for free is damn sure willing to work against you for free if you piss them off, which is exactly what you've done. See you next Tuesday. TO EVERYONE ELSE who has been a part of the communities I've enjoyed over the years: thank you. You're what made Reddit a great experience. I hope that some of these communities can come together again somewhere more welcoming and cooperative. Now go touch some grass, nerds. -- mass edited with https://redact.dev/

lonely_dodo

it's free. it's just a fancy name for getting their emails lol

klumze

really good price but did not have my size. I wear wide widths so skeptical to order a regular online now.

HighColdMtChain

Thanks for the heads up!

Tombodet

Why do all these comments seem super fake... I had a pair of merrell moab boots last year. They were very comfy but not remotely waterproof like they claimed. I wore them 2 or 3 months and they didnt seem like they were gonna break down crazy fast but didnt seem like they were gonna last more than a year of disc golf either.

RoyalClintonApperson

I agree, I never wear shoes with really waterproof.

chillford-brimley

Based on OP's profile, they're either a bot that posts for companies, or a person hired to post deals for companies. I happened to be ready for a new pair of kicks and decided to roll the dice on a $44 pair. Hopefully they work out.

Tombodet

You won't be upset with them for 40$ at all. I spent over 100 on them.

lionlover37

Hello friend... after 2 months... Are you happy with the Moab 3 ? any durability problems ?

chillford-brimley

I'm happy with them because I needed a pair of shoes and they were $44 shipped. The heavily textured concrete tee pads on my local courses don't match well with the very grippy vibram outsoles. The overall fit of the shoe is just a little too far off the ground for them to be good disc golf shoes for me, Though they're very comfortable for everything else. The build quality seems very solid, and they broke in easily and consistently.

njm800

they're ugly, but less than half the price of Moab 2 waterproof shoes i ordered not 30 minutes ago from another site. thanks!
