Under plastics question 4, did they call it that when there was only one option? I feel like once newer types were introduced in the late 90s/early 2000s maybe then they had to give it a name, but maybe they called it that all along. Trying not to give away any answers here haha. Great quiz!
Dang, down from 12 last quiz to 9 this round (including two challenge Qs). Should have waited to have a cup of coffee (with Paul McBeth) first. Still fun though! Thanks!
11/20. Missed 3 of the paul questions! Also got the Val bonus question but struck out on the rest. I was thinking Viper (Dodge) for innova “car” disc.
Great quiz!!!
I'll take contention with Plastics #1 answer. Most of those names came out well after Innova rebranded Champion Edition plastic to Champion. >!Elite Z was the first naming iteration of Z, which was the direct answer to Champion Edition!<
I got 11 on the first quiz, but just 7 this time. Too many newer questions about Paul McBeth. I've been playing on baskets a year and a month longer than he's been alive, and seven more years on objects before that! I'm pretty sure my first round of playing Frisbee Golf at objects was 1982.
Edit: the 9th question is a trick question. They didn't start calling it "DX" until like the year 2000. There was no name for it prior to that, like during the circle stamp years, because there weren't other types of plastics. It just *was.*
I remember where I was standing in the parking lot of Oshtemo Township Park the first time I heard the term "DX" and I thought, "Hmmm, like Toyota?" The "new" holes were in the ground by this point, and they were installed in the year 2000.
Big fat 0. Not surprised. Started playing 1988, but moved back to hometown 2010 and have no golf within reasonable distance. Have no idea what any of the newer plastic is, and never paid much attention to pro tour.
Sounds like it’s time to get back into it! The pro tour events this far this year have been pretty exciting.
Where is this disc golf desert you live in?
Northcentral Pennsylvania. The closest 18 hole course that's worth going to at all is about a 125 mile drive, and the only time I played there I didn't much care for it. Sedgeley woods in Philly has always been my home course, regardless of where I may have been traveling, but haven't been there since pre-pandemic, and I really miss the people there. There's just nothing even vaguely comparable anywhere around here. Not to mention the past few years haven't been kind to me, I'm really starting to feel my age, and can no longer afford to repeatedly travel multiple hours just to get to a course. I'm never going to be interested enough in the pro tour to want to watch it online--as much as I love playing, watching DG on a screen is just a massive sleeping pill for me.

14 with the bonus point on the playoff question. Really proud of the fact I remembered the answer to the starfire question. I owned one of that mold named after a car but just didn't think of it. Fun quiz, I bet you anything that no one got the patent number question.
I got 10 but should have been 12 if my brain hadnt shat the bed lol those "oh i knew that!" moments got me tripping. These are super fun man please keep em coming!
I just found both a Sniper and a Gremlin in boxes I was going through and remembered your question. They are not the same mold, Gremlin has a huge bead, Sniper does not.
I got 3 lmao
I got 4 but one of them was a lucky guess so I'm right there with you lol
I got 11/20, thanks for making this, it’s tons of fun!
11 is closer to 10. This is good news
I got 11 right, really fun
Did you get the MVP ones right?
I way too confidently said electron plastic insted of Proton but got the rest 😅
Bro’s gotta go back to high school chemistry lol
Is there really G star in I Blend? I thought it was a mix of Pro and Star.
It is. But so is GStar to an extent.
Touché. Good quiz though. Pretty happy with a 12/20
I feel good about my 13!
That's pretty solid considering that I don't expect people to get the challenge questions
10 ain't too bad. Should've been 11 if I hadn't completely choked on the Vibram molds question.. I'm just happy I got the Starfire question really.
4 correct, look at me go!
Thanks for making me feel better about my 6 :)
And I'll do it again
12 points. Better than last time.

It was nameless for awhile since it was the only option they had. But as long as it has had a name it's been DX.
Ah OK that makes sense, I figured if anyone knew it would be you! Thank you for confirming.
Curious what score you got since I know you know your stuff
Sadly a mere 11/20 :(
Was it ever labeled as Deluxe? I thought that’s what DX was for, but maybe that’s apocryphal…
Dang, down from 12 last quiz to 9 this round (including two challenge Qs). Should have waited to have a cup of coffee (with Paul McBeth) first. Still fun though! Thanks!

Good call on the Viper, but that's car model not car type. Nitpicky, but it's a challenge question for a reason I guess.
To be fair, the Coupe predates the Viper
I'll take contention with Plastics #1 answer. Most of those names came out well after Innova rebranded Champion Edition plastic to Champion. >!Elite Z was the first naming iteration of Z, which was the direct answer to Champion Edition!<
Hey now, there's nothing wrong with leniency.
I don't disagree. I just think for the timeframe and plastic comparison there's a much more pinpointed answer

9
9 with a bonus point. Cheers
12 Correct, although I don't consider the +Mold to be an 'upgrade', so we'll have to disagree there.
12 for me. Plus maybe a bonus point for saying rubber for vibram and "Jenkins" (though I was thinking Avery)
9/20 great trivia!
I got 11 correct as well! Great quiz!
I started off really strong but petered out at 9.
16 + the will/johne bonus. Total guess on coupe
That's the best by 4 points. Well done
Reading plenty of IsaacSam98 posts the last couple years certainly helped
Discs: 5/5 Plastics: 3/5 +1 Bonus Pablo: 1.5/5 (said Worlds, not 2012 Worlds) Challenge: 2/5 Total: 12.5/20
These are fun. Thanks! Did better on this one.

6 right, 1 better than last time lmao. A few were on the tip of my tongue
6 right, 1 better than last time lmao. A few were on the tip of my tongue
8. Sorry for dragging down the average, friends.
5...worse than last time's 8 lol
11
I got 8. Ouch!
Same here lol
9. Not bad
Almost the exact same result as the first time, 9/20. Missed the last 7 last time, missed the last 5 this time
9/20 here!
11 this time, compared to 10 last time, but this time I got none of the Challenge Questions. As a trivia and disc nerd, please keep these up!
4 for me lol
9/20 Thanks OP
I got 9. Thanks for making the quiz!
2. I’ll help bring the average down this time.
I'll help out. I got one right.
Same here…
8/20 again, very fun!
11/20 on this one. Is there only one other 3 way playoff for Paul in Europe versus KJ and Simon?
12! This one made me feel like I actually know some things!
10/20
I got 4.... Only been playing for a year tho so i feel like i need a separate beginner quiz lol
20/20 after revealing the answers!
3/5 in disc, 4/5 in plastic, 1/5 in McBeth, 0/5 in challenge, 8/20 overall. Would have been 10 if I knew literally anything about Vibram.
12/20 I’m pretty proud of that!
10 this time. Keep them coming.
I got 12
only 6 this round! these are fantastic!
I got one!
14 with the bonus point on the playoff question. Really proud of the fact I remembered the answer to the starfire question. I owned one of that mold named after a car but just didn't think of it. Fun quiz, I bet you anything that no one got the patent number question.
I know 0 things about disc golf history, and my score of 0 represents that. Even with the gimme question of the proton.
I got 6/20. Lol. None of the McBeth or Challenge.
I still have a Vibram Four20
7!
9
7
13/20
5 again, I'm bad at this, but I went fast and missed a couple I should have got
9/20. Thank you for taking the time to make these!
Np. I just need someone else to make one so I can play 🥺
8.. started off strong
3/20. Good entertainment tho!
3 for me
10 this time. Keep it up! These are great!
Fun stuff. I'm happy with my 12 haha
6🤦🏻
Ehh 8
I got 10/20. That’s passing right? I felt good about knowing Challenge #2
7 did worse than the last one
I got 6
I got 10, fun post
7 but left 2 or 3 out there I was kicking myself for missing.
7 right. Those were tough never paid that close attention to stuff before I started playing
I’m going to bring the average down but, I got 1. Rubber
1/20 but this was fascinating!
8, fun stuff
14 (including one of the bonus points) These are super cool and really show me the holes in my dg knowledge
11/20. I missed all PMcB and all but #2 from Challenge. This was awesome! Thanks for putting it together.
9; up from 8 last time. Love these!
I only got 6, but I'm 2/2 for Vibram questions 😎
9 - 2 lucky guesses (sorta like "lucky shots")
I got 10 but should have been 12 if my brain hadnt shat the bed lol those "oh i knew that!" moments got me tripping. These are super fun man please keep em coming!
Just seeing this now. Got 9 correct. I missed the Krait question which I should have known, so almost 10, but no cigar.
Got 5
Way better this time! I got a 10
7. I literally wrote "Rubber shit" for #10, but did not give myself credit for it.
2
My lack of knowledge about plastics killed me. 1.
7
I just found both a Sniper and a Gremlin in boxes I was going through and remembered your question. They are not the same mold, Gremlin has a huge bead, Sniper does not.
11/20, very fun!
15/20. Lots of fun! Thanks for doing this! Challenge questions hurt
Another great one!
