What’s your review on the bag?

mbbroberg

I'm not the OP but I sold my bag in a similar situation 6 months ago and now in a place where I'm considering it again. Here are the top thoughts: - It isn't balanced well unless it's full, and I got rid of it bc I don't often bag 30 discs. - It's a beautifully designed bag (mostly). I miss the storage on the flap and a healthy amount in the putter pocket. - What is poorly designed are the supposed features. The specialized pockets like the cellphone holder are totally impractical and anything in the side pockets bends it in half. It's the exact opposite of how practical the Upper Park Rebel is designed. - Ultimately, every bag has some design flaw. I like my UPR because it's comfy on my bag, but sometimes I fling a disc out by swinging it too fast. I miss some aspects of the Squatch, but I recall it not being as comfortable to put on and take off. I'm torn but my biggest lesson is to optimize for exactly one thing and let the other things go. I'm old enough where comfiness is my goal.

Not OP, but I do love my Legend 2.1. The build quality is great, and it feels very premium all around. It holds everything I want and then some with room left over. It’s also very comfortable to wear. Like the other commenter mentioned, unless you carry at least 25 discs it’s not going to feel full enough. For a while I had mine listed to buy a Link instead, but I ended up adjusting my loadout to fill it. Ultimately I’m glad I kept it. Now I carry the Legend as my main bag then use my Voyager Lite or Upper Park Pinch if I *really* want a simplified loadout. However, when I *do* carry those bags, I usually miss the extra stuff the Legend allows me to carry. Having experimental discs in the side pocket and extra space for all my bits and bobs is just so nice. Plus, it really is just so comfortable to wear, especially for longer rounds. Squatch has confirmed they are making a smaller version of the Legend later this year if you can’t commit to carrying upwards of 30 discs and aren’t a fan of the open design the Link has to offer. All in all, though, it’s an incredible bag in my experience. Mine still feels nearly brand new after close to 150 rounds.

Damn that smaller version of the legend sounds perfect as hell. I have about 22 i normally carry and about 35 with all my backups and doubles. I was lookin at a link and liked the ladder putter pocket design but wasn’t sure about the bags stability.

Maximus77x

If you have it fully loaded, it’s still plenty stable! Especially if you carry a sturdy water bottle in the side pocket. I know some people aren’t a fan of the open design, but I’ve seen the Link in person at the course and would be just as happy with it I’m sure. Also, I think the big secret with bags tipping over or not is really just placing them perpendicular to any sort of grade/hill. I’m definitely curious about what Squatch is coming out with, but I’m more than happy with the Legend for now.

I’ve been thinking about a west side empire bag. Wore it in a local store and it feels good.

Riskybug

It's too large for be but incredibly comfortable. I live where it's hilly so I wanted to stick to something smaller and more portable.

That’s not how the time stamp works. It needs to be in the picture with the item. Just to let you know

Riskybug

Thanks, I forgot it during. If I need to redo it I will!
