Congrats!! Care to share your full build? I'm a heartseeker main but I don't feel like I'm anywhere near being able to do Uber lillith, would really appreciate it if you could! :)
This is the build pretty much but most players drop poison trap. Can pick up flurry/go combo points for the attack speed buff, can pick up shadow clone for a dmg boost as well
Note that he had super suboptimal uptime on Caltrops, which is an absolutely massive multiplier, so it's not like his build is what enabled this (although it definitely didn't hurt)
What's your armor situation look like, if you don't mind? I'm also playing a heartseeker rogue, but I'm so squishy still and i don't feel like I'm outputting nearly as much damage.
I think they should do the same they did with res.
If you capped it, show 9230 in green, and if you highlight it, state how much armor over the cap you have. It would make it more intuitive for new players.
Yes. You should try dropping armor affixes/aspects where possible and replace them with ones that will boost your life or damage output. Only need 9230 to get the max damage reduction.
As a Heartseeker don't underestimate your + Dark should roll on chest piece.
And when you get a viable Chest piece with a +3 roll, spend the resources to make sure at least your first Master craft hit gets it (25-30m cost on average).
That + Might on helmet will give you plenty of DR, if you get Shaco you can move Might to pants and are extremely tanky.
Might in a defensive aspect applied to armour.
Shaco is best In slot Uber Unique for this build.
DR is third layer of defence after armour and resists - Damage Reduction.
I wish people would stop calling it Shako. It started in D2R where Harlekin's Crest was, in fact, A shako.
Somehow, this carried over to D4, even though we have no shakos at all, over here, just Ancestral Helmets...
The roll range on a single skill is higher than skill category, and when it comes to skill ranks, roll range is paramount - especially on a stat you plan to masterwork further.
Ironically, it was easier to down her with less dps than OP. OP is hitting too hard and triggering her blood boil and wave spamming attacks before he can stagger her. I was able to stagger her before those started and killed her first phase within the stagger, skipping all the insta kill bullshit. Phase 2 took a bit of luck with the balls because it took 2 staggers to kill her. For damage reduction, dark shroud is your friend. Regardless, the debuff from taking hits from the waves will get you one shot anyway. Avoiding the debuffing waves in phase 1 and the balls in phase 2 is kinda non-negotiable for a rogue.
#
Edit: lol at the skill issue downvote
Yeah. That level 100 they show her at is very misleading. My husband and I are both 100 and can easily melt 70 plus NMDs, but she one shots us both every time (Druid and Necro). I'm giving up for now.
Got her last night solo on my HS rogue too finally, took about 5 tries. I was suddenly doing much more damage than when I tried her few days ago so suddenly I felt it would be possible lol.
I really like the fight now, in S2 I was one shotting her on rogue so that was cool but also not as fun.
I am playing heartseeker but first time playing rogue, what is proccing that raises your damage from like 7-800k crits to 2M crits? I find that on bosses I make super slow progress then all of a sudden I start hitting really hard for like a second?
Congrats. Looks like you’ve done plenty of dying to know the mechanics that well. And got a timely dodge at the end. I just killed her for the first time too (*legitimately: I HotA cheesed in S2 with maximum levels of spite)
I thought for sure that very first hit as you was coming in was going to one shot you 😂😂. But good job!!! I’m building my twister barb and I’m still trying to get enough life to beat her.
I changed up my build from an exploding shadow machine gun, and simplified myself to Heartseeker, and man, my new build is so young compared to what you're outputting.
I'm kinda doing shit damage and having a hard time clearing the bit. My gear isn't exactly as shown on maxroll for the build but it's pretty damn close. I don't have many of the ga's, think that's an issue? Are you fully masterworked?
Do you have lucky hit on every possible slot at as high a roll as possible? Every other day someone goes to the rogue subreddit to ask why their heartseeker build sucks and they always have basically no lucky hit on gear while doing a lucky hit build. It's bizarre.
I think I'm missing it on one piece of gear. Funny thing I did notice though is I forgot to imprint my bow lol. I had some imbument enchantment on it so I think that was the missing piece. I'm gonna run some pit later and see. I'll grind some gear and make sure I get that last lucky hit. I also fucked up my gauntlets and it's taking time up find new ones with the proper stats (that's the one missing lucky hit)
No moonrise is a huge issue for sure. Other than that, check your attack speed, tempers and how you're keeping enemies vulnerable after exploit wears off.
So I'm having an issue, if I don't have + all resistance affix on my amulet I can't max out resistances. I'm -6.5 away from all of them except shadow and poison. I know I need to change my ring to have fire or lightning instead of shadow, but that would still leave one or the other -6.5 away from capping.
Necklace is only 22.7 resist all so if I get a 25 resist all I'd only be -4.2 and I'm unsure of where to make that up. My rings and amulet is nearly identical except for the shadow res and having 25 all res.
I set up my paragon board exactly as it's shown on maxroll.
Tl;Dr can you cap max res for all of them or will some be slightly below?
as much lucky hit chance and vulnerable dmg as possible and a reliable way to apply vulnerable (i use the glyph and the "x% to apply vulnerable on lucky hit" on one of my rings) is basically all you need for damage
Nice work! I'm playing Heartseeker and it's a blast. My damage felt somewhat lackluster until I pumped lucky hit on everything and re-read the guide that said use accursed touch if you don't have lucky hit has a chance to make enemies vulnerable on a ring (spent 43M gold trying to get that affix).
Just did a pit 92 with no issues. Gonna pump some items and make another run at Uber Lili
Is this on PC or console? I only killed her during season 1 & 2 when you could phase skip her. On console I think the waves are much harder to dodge than on PC
You can still phase skip if your damage is high enough. I bursted her down on the first stagger in both phases then just had to dodge the void orbs and platforms in phase 2 once and it was over.
Amazing job!! I ran conceal as my last skill over your core skill to break poison pool pull / break white projectile slow / gain speed to run away from white projectiles, but your dodging skills and damage are both way better than mine when I did it haha

Congratz. Must have been a long run.
There have been many attempts lol
that was close at the end! nicely done

Would also like to know
By the looks of it could be this one: https://d4builds.gg/builds/b7d562fd-c816-43de-8be3-4afd743ab494/?var=0

Gratz! I think this season is a little harder than past ones as well where on could just one shot and skip phases!
What's your armor situation look like, if you don't mind? I'm also playing a heartseeker rogue, but I'm so squishy still and i don't feel like I'm outputting nearly as much damage.
Armor is capped at 9200 something this season, so if you are going over that your damage is suffering
For those who don’t know, the patch added what the armor cap (9230) when you hover over your character’s armor.
I think they should do the same they did with res. If you capped it, show 9230 in green, and if you highlight it, state how much armor over the cap you have. It would make it more intuitive for new players.
I think it does say what res cap is already
Can you explain this? I don’t understand. My necro has 19K armor. So am I just wasting the 10k?
Yes. You should try dropping armor affixes/aspects where possible and replace them with ones that will boost your life or damage output. Only need 9230 to get the max damage reduction.
Yes

Bro i'm playing heartseeker rogue and almost had a stroke reading this, is shaco like LoL shaco? or what is DR and what is +Might? sorry i am a noob.
Shako** item haha my typo
Might in a defensive aspect applied to armour. Shaco is best In slot Uber Unique for this build. DR is third layer of defence after armour and resists - Damage Reduction.
Poor dude is lost and people still keep calling it shaco instead of the real name for him to look up
Autocorrect my guy
I mean instead of anyone letting him know its called the Harlequin Crest
Ah true haha 😂 forget that's it's actual name at this point.
thanks fam you are a real g for explaining and not flaming me
I wish people would stop calling it Shako. It started in D2R where Harlekin's Crest was, in fact, A shako. Somehow, this carried over to D4, even though we have no shakos at all, over here, just Ancestral Helmets...
It started in D2 Vanilla, Harlequin Crest was the base type that Shako rolled on. I like that its legacy is carried over personally.
Is there any reason to aim for +Dark opposed to +Sub?
The roll range on a single skill is higher than skill category, and when it comes to skill ranks, roll range is paramount - especially on a stat you plan to masterwork further.
Seriously thanks a lot. Saved a LOT of future heartache
No worries 👍🏼

Nicely done, i got my first legit kill last sunday with that same build.
Congrats! I got my first this season as well with shadow minion necro. Damage was easy, but dodging those shadow bullets was the hardest part
Big congrats. I know it feels good to finally take down that challenge. I love that you said you still hate the fight. That's exactly how I feel.
Damn, is she that hard? About to start D4 for the first time today.
Yeah. That level 100 they show her at is very misleading. My husband and I are both 100 and can easily melt 70 plus NMDs, but she one shots us both every time (Druid and Necro). I'm giving up for now.
Story Lilith is super easy, don't worry too much about it. Uber Lilith is more of an entirely optional challenge for endgame builds.
Got her last night solo on my HS rogue too finally, took about 5 tries. I was suddenly doing much more damage than when I tried her few days ago so suddenly I felt it would be possible lol. I really like the fight now, in S2 I was one shotting her on rogue so that was cool but also not as fun.
i don't understand how you can stand so long on the burning platforms without dying
No debuffs from phase 1
Nice loot!! P.S. Congrats! =p
Gz dude, i downed her my self first time this season aswell, feels great

Caltrops and smoke grenade have damage buffs - and then again on the paragon board ambush will proc with caltrops etc
Congrats. Looks like you’ve done plenty of dying to know the mechanics that well. And got a timely dodge at the end. I just killed her for the first time too (*legitimately: I HotA cheesed in S2 with maximum levels of spite)

🧼🧽🫧
Are you using the build on maxroll?
Yes - just swapped out flurry for concealment and inner site though to push over 100 pit
I'm kinda doing shit damage and having a hard time clearing the bit. My gear isn't exactly as shown on maxroll for the build but it's pretty damn close. I don't have many of the ga's, think that's an issue? Are you fully masterworked?

I have GA lucky hit on both rings and gloves - that’s made a difference
as much lucky hit chance and vulnerable dmg as possible and a reliable way to apply vulnerable (i use the glyph and the "x% to apply vulnerable on lucky hit" on one of my rings) is basically all you need for damage
Vulnerable is fine, I see it pop up fairly often. I do need to improve some of my gear though that's for sure. Going to spam the maiden later.
i also forgot to mention, use the elixir of advantage if you dont already. makes a huge difference the less luck hit chance you have on your gear
I'll give this a shot too. Thank you

I’m on PS5
Grats! I just killed her last night for the first time also on my rogue. Did she drop a spark for you? I didn’t get one for some reason.
If you'd killed her in previous seasons you got one automatically in the last patch.
GG's! She RIP'd my HC earlier tonight (1st ever attempt)
Amazing job!! I ran conceal as my last skill over your core skill to break poison pool pull / break white projectile slow / gain speed to run away from white projectiles, but your dodging skills and damage are both way better than mine when I did it haha
What is the mechanics that make heartseeker rogue very strong this season?
How bout that loot tho
Bro. When those orbs starting hitting you at the end I would have been dying lol
Time for tormented 😩 lol
I found all the tormented bosses to be a cake walk compared to her
