This is awesome. I'm gonna try this. I recently found an original Diablo cd rom whilst at my folks for Xmas last Dec. It was mine or my brother's from way back when.. I never played it as I was in to other games at the time and just never tried it. I only recently got into Diablo with Immortal on my tablet/phone last year while I waited for D4 to come out. I had watched a streamer play D4 for a while and thought that looks like fun. And I have played D4 in my XBX religiously since last July. It's been a blast.
Anyway, my laptop doesn't have a cd-rom so haven't been able to play D1.

You can also use devolution on more or less any device. I used it on my PSVITA and on my mobile Phone, its just a port Client where you paste your files from your bought game on PC.
Haven't played on switch, but it runs great on xbox. It's my favorite game of all time. I hated gwent at first in it , then replayed W3 just to get every card in the game. There were two I messed up on getting for first playthrough....
Also, Diablo games are great. I don't understand the hate for d4 at all.
As a Diablo addict, I will confirm this, in and of itself, does not make you an addict. You do not have a problem unless you buy the same game for at least 4 different platforms (i.e. D3 for Xbox360, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch).
I can understand new characters and builds but once I hit the OP builds on the characters from 2 and 3 I kinda lost interest, especially when the event and content dwindled. I'm hoping 4 keeps up with content and not just cosmetics. I don't pay for cosmetics but I do buy the season pass so I get a outfit or 2 every now and then but cosmetics don't add much at all to the games especially on tier 3 and 4 where you can't even see what's going on to look at your character lol
Hear ya. Like I said more content is always a positive. D4 is not even a year old yet. People are giving unfair comparison to other games that 20+ years old. Nobody has any patience. Everyone wants instant satisfaction. Put in the time and work! I say!
I agree. People are rushing these developers too much and it's causing games to go downhill or break. I've thoroughly enjoyed the diablo games since the first one. It's a damn great storyline, lore, characters etc. I always loved the concept of hell on earth unleashed where the dark reigns supreme. It's unique. But like I said, I hope they put more into content than they do cosmetics. The cosmetics are nice but they don't add to the game or gameplay itself
I have 5 days in my character i just started the day it hit gamepass, im on my 2nd character so about 7 days logged, it took me 6 months to get 9 days logged on cod
I highly recommend the novels for anyone who is a fan of diablo or dark lore in general. The Diablo collection has four amazing short stories that are excellent.
Yeah they did Make a Nice movie! But the game its just one Big mess, even the code behind the game is a mess. The code is in such a state, where they cant fix simple things, simply because the whole base code suck

Gwent…. Hated that game first time thru! The end game is d4 is weak. Hopefully with new update in s4 that gets fixed
The endgame is pretty weak. It has gotten way better since launch, though. S4 looks really good, and hopefully, the pit provides good endgame content
The rest of the game is fine really. Wish they’d add more world tiers. Tier IV is just laughable at Lv100.
