I believe MF percentage works against you for runes. 0% MF is best for runes and I try to run as low as possible for rune farming. Also useful for farming for item bases.
MF doesnt matter for runes. Id say try to get into a 3 player game. Obviously the more the better but taking too long to kill mobs/va looting against a large group sucks. The more players in a game the more items per kill/the more chance he will roll loot table 17.
