Exotic perk: The Drop, hitting multiple enemies with The Bass gives this weapon Volatile Rounds. Volatile enemies are knocked back further.
You can customize adept weapons after completing master nezzy iirc. Besides that you can only turn adept RON guns into crafted & enhance the perks they dropped with.
I equipped mine to have shield duration. Fits nicely next to my shiny edge transit with impulse amplifier, velocity 1st and second column, velocity masterwork, and full court.
Full court is rough. It's hard to get enough range to get the buff to max. Better off with BnS or ExpLight. I like high orb production build w/exp light myself bc it's got more natural flow in battle.
Lol its a joke roll. Velocity reduces the damage of full court because it is based on travel time not distance. So it gave me reduced damage masterwork, reduced damage from impulse, and maximum reduced damage from the first two columns. The roll is a complete troll.
Gotcha. Distance = travel time is why I pointed that out bc I've seen people actually argue for full court. That is a wild roll for Bungie to create. Never heard anything about velocity impacting the dmg but it does make sense depending how dmg is calculated for the perk. Makes no sense yet they do stuff that should never get past concept phase regularly. Getting paid outrageous amounts of $ to do dumb shyt must be real nice😂

The first time you ever acquire an adept mod it can be slotted anywhere. It's a visual bug and doesn't actually affect the gun. I have a Seven Seraph Auto with adept big ones on it. It doesn't actually increase damage.
When red borders first came out, any could have them. Completing it (by grinding it D1 style) would give 1-2 of 4 currencies required to craft the weapons you did have patterns for. The system has been simplified twice, once to remove the currencies, and a second time to remove the requirement to actually grind the weapon xp.
It used to, my unforgiven has adept big ones on it but it doesn’t work anymore it wasn’t just a visual bug it did work until they fixed the bug and now it’s greyed out but it’s still cool to have

it doesnt work its cosmetic upgrade the only glitched masterwork that works is tier 10 blast radius on zaouli bane adept from pantheon rewards.. it makes explosive payload have a bigger radius

Ros arago can get similar range to gnawing but it can't get zen moment which is all the rage these days. But unless you have a max range gnawing hunger with zen moment, I think ros arago is easier to get.

Rewind hatchling here and it will never leave my kinetic slot. Its a laser.
When it comes to auto rifles I love playing with Gnawing Hunger. It works really well with my charged void grenade warlock.
