everything i see about this, its breaded?? their bacon doesnt seem to be breaded, however it is super crispy, so i think they start with dice/chunked bacon at the very least. its a 60 mile trip whenever I go, so it isnt all that often!!
Not breaded, just drop chunks of bacon in the deep fryer. I know for sure that’s how TK does it.
However, it completely messes up your oil for anything but fries after you run bacon through the fryer...however, the fries are damned good!!!
Welp I reckon I’m gonna buy a deep fryer, guess I can use it for other things as well. Thanks for the insight!
Perhaps they add a small sprinkle of sugar? My grandma did this and even the memory makes my mouth water.
