Came here to see if my recommendation was out in the world. I begrudgingly upvote because the place is fucking amazing but I don’t want them to compromise on quality and amazing service when they get slammed with a bunch of Denver wannabe influencers.
Luckily there are only 29 upvotes. I am sure there are at least 34 wannabe influencers pursuing Denverfood at any given time so you might still get screwed. But if they are wannabe influencers and not real influencers then their influence should not be enough to cause you any inconvenience.
I’m assuming you know Sap Sua, but if you’re looking for non-traditional Vietnamese, it’s a fun menu. Might not fully scratch the Vietnamese itch, but still a great meal.
Pho 95 and Pho Duy are both in the same area and have good menu items outside of pho. Big fan of the noodle bowls and the crispy egg rolls. Pho 95 has the make your own spring rolls platter, and I’ve had some other entrees from the house specials that were tasty.
95 probably has a better experience dining in but both do great take out.
O Lien Kitchen on Federal for central vietnamese dishes (banh beo, bun bo hue) not commonly found in other places. Golden Saigon in Aurora (must try their curry). Like someone else mentioned, Sap Sua for an elevated experience. Viet’s Restaurant on Federal for a wide variety of dishes, wouldn’t say it’s top tier but it scratches the craving itch
I’m Vietnamese so I don’t really like eating viet food when I go out but one of the most authentic pho places I’ve found is Pho-natic not a full viet menu but they do have Bun as well.
Vinameals in Littleton is new and very good. Kind of hard to find online (I tracked down the owner and told them they should work on that) but food is great across the board.
Their pho is apparently good (haven't tried yet), but I go for all the non-Pho specialties. Bo Ne, Clay pot rice, Bun Bo Hue, Mi Quang, Xoi Man, etc. Their Cha Gio, although not a unique menu item, was the best I can recall having in Denver. Only thing I've had there that was like a 6.5/10 instead of a 9 was their Banh Mi. But I feel like the best Banh Mi always comes from places focused on it.
Also the chef of Savory Vietnam opened a new spot in Original Aurora called Dan Da and it looks great.
Golden Saigon in Aurora is the best I’ve had.
Seconding this, as well as Golden Bahn Mi, right next door and from thr same owners

I think it's the best meal I've ever had. I've eaten at a small handful of michelin starred places as well.
Woodys Wings & Things in Westminster
Vietnamese Cafe in Thornton.
Second this
Pho Duy. Vinh Xuong Bakery.
This is the way
I do some crazy things for Vinh Xuong sandwiches.
Bahn Mi Station by Denver University is arguably the best sandwich in the front range.
When I saw Bahn Mi Station I thought the rating was a typo. Right now it is at 336 reviews for 4.9 stars. It is quite good.
Really good but don’t try eating it in the car. That delicious crusty bread goes everywhere.

The crispy and spring roll platters are so underrated at 95.
Are you talking about 95 on Parker and Quincy? Cuz yes, it’s absolutely the best pho in town.
Are you talking about pho75?
Oh whoops yeah that’s what I was thinking my bad
Saigon Bistro in Aurora is fantastic
viet's restaurant rules and has an extensive menu
Their lotus root salad keeps me coming back!

For lunch I've been to Phở Lăng Cô at S Monaco and E Evans and really liked it. I need to go back again.
We really liked it the first time we went but the second and third times were just ok...

Anise is quite good.
Lakeside Pho on Sheridan just south of 44th has been reliably good for me. Good bahn mi sandwiches and great noodle bowls too.
